Wuhan virus -

Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin is expected to announce mandatory vaccines for active-duty troops today. The move follows a White House order functionally requiring federal employees to get vaccinated or face punishment. While the experimental vaccine was never mandatory for troops, several reports of coercion, discrimination, and manipulation came out over the summer. An estimated 70% of active-duty forces are vaccinated already, often requiring it before overseas duty or training. (FO)

Globalism / Great Reset -
The WaPo reports that the Biden administration is considering using federal regulatory powers and the threat of withholding federal funds from institutions to push more Americans to get vaccinated — a huge potential shift in the fight against the virus and a far more muscular approach to getting shots into arms, according to four people familiar with the deliberations. The effort could apply to institutions as varied as long-term care facilities, cruise ships and universities, potentially impacting millions of Americans, according to the people, who spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss sensitive conversations.
The conversations are in the early phases and no firm decisions have been made, the people said. One outside lawyer in touch with the Biden administration on the issue is recommending that the president use federal powers sparingly.
OBSERVATION - Backdoor govt mandates by using leverage and the private sector to do its dirty work. There have been a lot of leftist discussions on other means to pressure people, even to the extent of denying medical services to the unvaxxed receiving SS, Medicare/Medicaid or VA services.

Economy -
OBSERVATIONS - I mentioned yesterday that Oroville only had a couple more weeks before being forced to shutdown the power plant. DWR State Water Project operations managers have decided to take the Hyatt Powerplant at Lake Oroville offline due before it reaches that critical level. This is the first time Hyatt Powerplant has gone offline as a result of low lake levels. This increases the probability of brownouts or rolling blackouts later this summer/early fall’s peak electrical demands. Loss of hydropower thought the western US due to drought will force reliance on coal/gas plants, who’s numbers have been diminishing over the years. For California, this will equal skyrocketing electrical bills since PGE and others will have to pay outrageous “carbon” fees for fossil fuels. And that supposes these plants will sell to Kalifornia over other electricity starved customers in the west. Power outages and costs will wreak havoc on Kalifornia’s already wobbly economy. Last week, DWR shut down ALL water withdrawals for farmers from the delta with water rights, first time ever.

Govt announced latest job numbers. Nonfarm payrolls rose by 943,000 in July, better than the 845,000 Dow Jones estimate.
The unemployment rate slid to 5.4%, compared with the 5.7% expectation. Job gains came fastest in leisure and hospitality, followed by education and professional and business services. Average hourly earnings also increased more than expected, rising 0.4% for the month and are up 4% from the same period a year ago, at a time when concerns are increasing about persistent inflationary pressures. (NOTE - laborer shortages have also caused wages to increase, to get people back to work)

The national average is sitting at $3.19 per gallon, which is the highest its been since Oct. 12, 2014, according to GasBuddy head petroleum analyst Patrick De Haan. Earlier this week, GasBuddy reported that the nation’s average gas price rose 1.7 cents per gallon to $3.16 per gallon. Analysts don’t see much more increases in the immediate future as summer travel season wanes and potential “delta” variant encourages maintenance of work at home scenarios.

Biden watch -
Biden on the eviction moratorium:
“I can’t guarantee you the court won’t rule that we don’t have that authority but at least we’ll have the ability to, if we have to appeal, to keep this going for a month-at least. I hope longer.”

Shortly before Biden signed a bill awarding the Congressional Gold Medal to all law enforcement officers who responded to the Jan. 6 protest at the US Capitol, he pointed to Abigail Evans and beckoned her to join him at the desk in the White House Rose Garden.
After Abigail scampered up to the president, followed by brother Logan, Biden pulled her in for a one-armed embrace. As the girl greeted Vice President Kamala Harris, Biden began signing the legislation with a series of ceremonial pens.
Joe Biden motioned for the children to come to him and aggressively pulled a little girl up against his body and whispered in her ear.
“This is a silly way to do this,” the president told Abigail. “Mommy will explain it to you later.”
The poor little girl was visibly uncomfortable when Biden grabbed her and whispered in her ear.
The mainstream media decided to downplay this “incident” but look at the close-up photo from the girl shows obvious discomfort

CW2/Domestic violence -
BLM/Antifa violence can be expected at protests in the hot bed areas of Portland Oregon where militants are planning to confront attendees and disrupt a Christian conservative rally and a direct action against a small business owner in Aberdeen, Washington who allegedly “misgendered” a city council member this week.

BLM is trying to organize a number of “Black August” rallies and protests on August 7th in New York, Illinois, Michigan, Rhode Island, Georgia, South Carolina, and Washington, D.C. “Black August” events began in the 1970’s, praising Marxist revolutionary, Black Panther, and convicted murderer George Jackson. Jackson died during an attempted prison escape in 1971 during which he allegedly killed five hostages.

OBSERVATIONS - So far there have been no major law enforcement triggering event(s) to cause the left to mobilize into riot mode. This lull has caused their efforts to morph into support of other social justice / environmental efforts. However, I fully expect that the leftist underground leadership is furthering preparations for large scale violence by improving logistics, intelligence and training of key elements. These social justice / environmental activities are serving as recruiting exercises for future actions.

POLITICAL FRONT -
Video resurfaced this week of David Chipman — President Joe Biden’s nominee to lead the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) — appearing on Chinese state-run television in 2012 to promote gun control efforts, which China may have used to aid its anti-U.S. propaganda efforts.
NOTE - This thug’s nomination is increasingly hitting the toilet as discomfort levels of democrats in states with strong gun rights tendencies are getting squishy. If nominated, it could make things hot for them in the 2022 midterms. They have enough heat coming to bear due to the other dumpster fires they have participated in creating.
FURTHER NOTE - If Chipman gets in after all of this, his virulent anti 2d amendment views/goals combined with the growing willingness of biden to engage in clearly illegal ignoring of the constitution and USSC displayed in the Eviction extension could result in a very volatile situation that could result in violence which could provide a basis for martial law and a more forceful attempt to disarm Americans.

Cyber Warfare -
Amazon, Microsoft and Google will join the “Joint Cyber Defense Collaborative” established by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). The head of DHS’s Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) Jen Easterly said, “This will uniquely bring people together in peacetime, so that we can plan for how we’re going to respond in wartime.” The Collaborative’s goal is to reduce ransomware and cyberattacks on cloud-based systems, which Amazon maintains for the Defense Department and Central Intelligence Agency. The WSJ is reporting that the United States is offering a temporary “safe haven” for Hong Kong residents in light of the actions taking place against the people of Hong Kong by the communist Chinese government. It reports that Biden signed an order on Thursday that will allow some Hong Kong residents to stay in the United States instead of going back to Hong Kong for 18 months.

Extremely heavy rains hit parts of coastal northeastern North Korea from August 1 to 3, 2021, resulting in widespread damage to homes, infrastructure, and agricultural fields. The event follows a crop-damaging heatwave and drought in July that may threaten upcoming harvests, further deepening the country’s food crisis.

Iran -

US isn’t ruling out a military option to recent attacks on Gulf shipping by Iran. “A coordinated response doesn’t have to be a military response,” Pentagon spokesman John Kirby told reporters Tuesday, before adding, “Certainly we’ll do what we need to do to protect our forces and our interests.”

Lebanon -
Hezbollah launched a barrage of rockets from Lebanon at northern Israel this morning in retaliation of Israel’s airstrikes yesterday. Iron dome intercepted 10, 6 landed in open areas of Israel and 3 fell short into Lebanon. Hezbollah said it fired dozens (over statement) of 122mm rockets at Israel and were fired from within a residential area. The rockets landed in the Shebaa Farms and Golan Heights. They were fired from Kafr Shuba in Lebanon. Armed Druze villagers stopped Hezbollah firing more.

Lebanese Army says in a statement it arrested four people involved in the rocket fire and seized the truck with the launcher on the back. These individuals were stopped and detained by Druze villagers in southern Lebanon. Videos show a truck with a launcher capable of 32 rockets at a time surrounded by villagers. Lebanese military then comes in and takes over. The villagers are furious with the Hezebollah fighters and they don’t want Israeli airstrikes crashing down around them. Hezebollah says that when its fighters were “were passing through the Shwaya area in the Hasbaya district, a number of citizens objected to them”. Hezebollah also claims in the statement it doesn’t fire its rockets from populated civilian areas. Iran’s Press TV calls the Druze who intercepted the rocket truck “traitors” and suggests they should be put on trial.

The last time Hezbollah sent rockets over Lebanon’s border with Israel was in September 2019. The last time Israel used its air force to hit Lebanese targets was 2006.

OBSERVATION - Though the Druze are not necessary pro-Israeli, they share aspects of a common persecution by muslims in the region. They have been known historically to align with the team that’s likely to give them more benefits. Their loyalties change over time, and so as of now it seems that Israel is their better bet. One can expect that Israeli intelligence has opened significant contacts with them over the past years and that they will be a valuable source of intel and targeting when Hezebollah / Iran finally attack Israel directly.
Hezbollah openly launching into Israel OTOH is a dangerous escalation of the standoff between the two. Druze do not want a repeat of what happened in Gaza to happen to them and now seem to be becoming ready to take action against them to protect themselves.
Capture of the rocket launching vehicle also reveals Hezebollah attempts to prevent Israel from taking their launch capabilities away from them. US Army calls the tactic “shoot and scoot”. Clear the area before counter fire can hit. At the risk of repeating myself, Druze intervention may endanger that tactic.

ADDITIONAL NOTE - Hezebollah operates largely at the direction of Iran. Iranian exploits in Gulf region has brought it into the gunsights of Israel as well as GB and the US. They may be trying to distract Israel from the recent attacks in the Gulf to prevent the promised retaliation strikes. If so, Iran is grossly under estimating Israeli capabilities to deal with both at once.

Right after Israel was attacked with with missiles (with Hezebollah tacit approval), Biden said that Washington will pledge close to $100 million in additional “humanitarian aid” to Lebanon reports Reuters. It should be noted that Lebanon is currently controlled by Hezbollah organization and like Hamas in Gaza, those funds will be skimmed off to support their war preparations. .

Syria -
Conflict around Daraa is taking on the same form as around southern Idlib - near constant artillery attacks into civilian areas. It has the effect of forcing civilians to flee into core areas of Daraa, creating a refugee crisis with restricted supplies (due to siege efforts) and overwhelming local medical support.

Afghanistan -
Things continue to fall apart for the Afghani govt. Sources confirm to the BBC that Nimruz airport has fallen to the Taliban as the militants take their first provincial capital. Many thought this would not happen this early - but it is most definitely happening.

Iranian media reports that Iran is establishing explicitly Iran-backed Shia militias in western Afghanistan. Iran wants to protect the Shia minority (about 20 percent of Afghans) from the expanding reach of the Taliban. In the late 1990s the Taliban went after Afghan Shia in a big way and the victims have not forgotten. The new militias are composed of combat experienced Afghan Shia who served as Iranian mercenaries and survived combat in Syria.

For those in Kalifornia, the Dixie fire has exploded, bypassing Lake Almandor on both the north and south sides. The town of Greenville was destroyed on the south. Communities of Chester, Westwood and the larger town of Susanville are increasingly threatened. Susanville is near the Sierra Army Depot, a major munitions storage base for the US military.

Wuhan virus -
Fauci already beating the drum about the latest evil version of wuhan - Lambda strain. Lambda is currently thought to be immune to the ‘vaccines’ on the market.

Education Secretary Miguel Cardona has essentially threatened states with funding loss if they don’t comply with nationally directed wuhan mandates for this school year. He specifically singled out Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and Texas Gov. Greg Abbott for banning mask mandates for schools, saying, “Don’t be the reason why schools are interrupted.”
NOTE - According to the ‘science’ - CDC data as of Wednesday, August 4, a total 349 children ages 0-17 have died of COVID since the pandemic began in January 2020, based on death certificates submitted so far to the CDC’s National Center for Health Statistics. In that same time period, CDC counts a total of 606,389 COVID-involved deaths in the United States. So children account for 0.057 percent of all COVID-involved deaths. (CNS)

NOTE - A lot more wuhan news showing up here this week. Primarily because IMHO there has been a transition of the effort to force the vaccination narrative into more a direct action / coercion mode. They replacing the carrot with a big stick and using what ever means possible to force the jab on a large percentage of the population. White House reporters supposedly got an email from the White House Press Office informing them if each reporter failed to prove they were vaccinated by August 8, which is Sunday, their hard pass would be revoked. Allegedly they were given only two days to comply. Some view this as another way of controlling the narrative via the media.

Mayor Bill de Blasio is said to be planning an expansion of his wuhan passport program already running to include other businesses such as delis, bodegas and supermarkets. Many view de Blasio and other similar wuhan ‘passports’ to represent a new system of medical apartheid.

The Federation of State Medical Boards warned July 29 that physicians and other healthcare professionals could be at risk of losing their medical licenses if they spread COVID-19 vaccine misinformation on social media, online and in the media.
FSMB, a nonprofit that represents all U.S. state medical boards, said any clinicians who create or spread vaccine misinformation or disinformation risk disciplinary action by state medical boards, including suspension or revocation of their medical license, according to a statement emailed to Becker’s Hospital Review.

Economy -
Average hourly earnings climbed in July for the third consecutive month, rising 4% from the year-ago period and 0.4% over the month, according to the Labor Department’s monthly payroll report. That follows similar gains in April, May and June. However those raises no where near match inflation for the same period. According to the Labor department, in June, consumer prices jumped 0.9% from the previous month and 5.4% over the past year – the biggest increase in 13 years.

Expanded lockdowns in China are starting to send shockwaves through the shipping community. Additional delays up to 14 days, shipping container shortages and overloaded ports contributing to the matter.

Biden announcers that there have been approximately 350 million people vaccinated in the United States. The problem, of course, is that there are only around 330 million people living here (unless he wants to include 20 undocumented illegals). BTW he made the statement not once but twice. Worse, he was reading from notes someone prepared for him.

Israel -
IAF hit Hamas targets in Gaza following more fire bomb balloon attacks on Israel.

Defense Minister Benny Gantz told diplomats from UN Security Council that Tehran will be able to break out to a nuclear weapon within 10 weeks. By this he meant that Iran would have acquired enough weapons-grade materials necessary for a nuclear weapon.
NOTE - this doesn’t factor in creation of the bomb itself. Many have thought that Iran’s close work with N Korea over the years may have provided the information necessary to shorten the creation of such a device, and in fact may have procured one. N Korea as you would know from what I’ve posted at least, is desperate for money and supplies to keep their own nuclear program progressing. Iran showing the money would be a substantial incentive for Kim to share the technology. However, such technology transfer is still speculation and nothing has popped out into the open source world to confirm it.

Iran -
Iran has replaced the intelligence/forward operating ship Saviz, seriously damaged by an attack in July, with a nearly identical ship Behshad. The Iranian ship registered as a general cargo vessel, but is strictly military in operations. The Behshad stopped near the Bab el-Mandeb strait, a crucial waterway that controls access to the Red Sea and the Suez Canal.

Analysts are noting that civil unrest is becoming more pervasive throughout Iran, be it from food and water shortages to lack of medical care, etc. With the new hardline president looking to expand tyrannical powers, more violence is almost a given. The centralization of power at the expense of the civilian population is a common feature of many middle eastern countries - Syria, Iraq, Lebanon, many African nations, etc.

At least one of the Hezbollah rocket crew arrested by the Lebanese army yesterday has been released already

American Thinker has this good observation regarding Hezebollah and the Druze - “This offers a fascinating window into a situation in Lebanon, and into the thinking of Hezb’allah, and of the Lebanese who are not particularity sympathetic to its cause. Apparently, some of the rockets in Hezb’allah’s salvo were supposed to come from a Druze village. From Hezb’allah’s perspective, that would have had multiple benefits. Politically, Lebanese Druze are opposed to Hezb’allah, so the return Israeli fire would have helped drive the Druze into Hezb’allah’s circle, along with creating political problems inside Israel: the Israeli Druze are fully integrated, including mandatory army service, and an attack on their Lebanese brethren would have shaken Israel’s internal cohesion.”

The U.S. Embassy is urging U.S. citizens to leave Afghanistan immediately using available commercial flight options.
The Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) advise against all travel to Afghanistan. All British nationals in Afghanistan are advised to leave now by commercial means.

USAF B52s and Spectre gunships have been active supporting Afghani military in its defense against the Taliban. The Afghan need all the help they can get now that the Taliban have captured the provincial capitol Sheberghan city in Jawzjan. It is the second provincial capital to fall to the insurgents over the past 24 hours after Zaranj fell yesterday.

Biden continues promoting coronavirus vaccine mandates for American citizens, but the White House still struggles to explain why that standard is not applied to migrants crossing the Southern border. Psaki said that “interagency working groups” are developing a plan for international travel but did not address migrants coming across the Southern border. “Given where we are today with the Delta variant, we will plan to maintain existing travel restrictions at this point,”
OBSERVATION - What travel “restrictions”?

When asked by a reporter if there were any concerns from President Joe Biden’s administration about forcing children to wear masks in school all day, White House press secretary Jen Psaki replied, “No. There’s not.”
NOTE - This ignores the volumes of mental issues that have developed among children from the past year’s forced wearing of masks.

Globalism / Great Reset -
The military enforced lockdown in Australia has increased tensions within many communities, with residents in lower income neighborhoods feeling under siege (many are immigrants from other countries. They also complain that wealthier neighborhoods are getting preferential treatment.

Some are looking into a provision of the “Infrastructure” bill that appears to open the door to the creation of new surveillance requirements for many within the blockchain ecosystem. The proposal would seek to expand the definition of “broker” under section 6045(c)(1) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 to include anyone who is “responsible for and regularly providing any service effectuating transfers of digital assets” on behalf of another person. These newly defined brokers would be required to comply with IRS reporting requirements for brokers, including filing form 1099s with the IRS. That means they would have to collect user data, including users’ names and addresses. At worst case, this section could bring the cryptocurrency sector under govt control and more importantly to the govt - taxation.

Driver shortages are not only hitting America, but other countries as well. Britain has placed its military transportation personnel on alert to transport essential supplies in the face of a shortage of 100,000 truck drivers.

The United States on Thursday began flying Central American and Mexican families to southern Mexico in an effort to deter migration by bolstering a COVID-era expulsion policy at the U.S.-Mexico border, a person familiar with the matter said. These deportation are conducted under Title 42 - the only regulation biden hasn’t replaced/cancelled from the Trump policy.

Portland Antifa attacked a prayer group Saturday using tear gas, pepper spray, and flashbangs on the group of roughly 50 men, women, and children.

The second, an Antifa direct action in Aberdeen, Wash. provoked by Transvestite council member Tiesa Meskis formerly known as Nathan Kennedy was to have occurred at Sucher & Sons Star Wars Shop. The council member was incensed about a sign in the store saying “If you are born with a d*** you are not a chick”. Vietnam vet Don Sucher has run his Star Wars shop for more than 20 years and was not backing down replying to the Antifa threat said he’d have some friends of his own to protect him. Antifa promptly went on line to postpone action.

NOTE - These were the planned Antifa attacks I warned about a couple days ago. Expect follow on violence against the Star Wars Shop owner - at a time when Antifa can muster a larger force and the owner has little time to prepare a defense.

POLITICAL FRONT -
There is a lot of smoke and rumors about democrats rethinking VP Harris’ tenure. Some are just looking at preserving her position as VP but IMHO, they are getting very scared as biden’s dementia becomes worse and he will need to step down/replaced in the near future. Until then they are keeping him drugged and propped up as a figurehead until they can figure out what to do about harris. The eventual replacement of biden and the prospect of being stuck with a very incompetent harris could create a volatile scenario within the democrat party and depending on how they handle it a severe constitutional crisis.

A new cyber gang is in town – and tapping into the best features of ransomware used in the Colonial Pipeline attack. That new gang, BlackMatter, is upfront about its origins, stating that it has “incorporated” the “best features” of DarkSide and two other kinds of ransomware, REvil and Lockbit, according to a statement from the BlackMatter group as noted by cybersecurity company Recorded Future. North Korea -
North Korean leader Kim Jong Un has mobilized the military to carry out relief work in areas recently hit by heavy rains, state media said on Sunday, amid concerns over an economic crisis and food shortage. The ruling Worker’s Party’s Central Military Commission held a meeting of its chapter in the eastern province of South Hamgyong to discuss damage and recovery from the downpour, the official KCNA news agency said. An early monsoon season arrived on the Korean peninsula last month, with torrential rains also inflicting damage in some southern regions.
OBSERVATION - Kim has been having to expend substantial finances to address the country’s economic hardships and famine that it is apparent that he has been forced to cut back on some of his strategic military programs. Examples are no further missile tests, nuclear development and the sort being reported/identified over the past couple months.

IDF’s 179th Brigade completes readiness test for war in Lebanon, including training with attack helicopters & urban warfare drills. The armored brigade is the first reserve force to finalize battle preparations after all regular battalions finished tests.
OBSERVATION - Israel has set up its own kind of NTC for units to prepare for a Lebanese combat environment. This was in response to the poor showing from the last time Israel and Hezebollah tangled in 2006.

Lebanon -
Hezbollah leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah said on Saturday that the Lebanese group does not fear any Israeli war and is fully prepared for it. “We are fully prepared for the war and we are certain that we will win it,” Nasrallah said in a televised speech to mark the 15th anniversary of a war between Israel and Lebanon in 2006.

Afghanistan -
Initial reports that the Taliban have conquered Taloqan capital city of Takhar province. Saripul and Kunduz capitals have also allegedly fallen.
NOTE - I’m trying to get a head count of the provincial capitols the Taliban have captured. Currently RUMINT are as many as 5 have fallen.

Israel’s Health Ministry reports that Israelis who were vaccinated were reportedly 6.72 times more likely to get infected after the shot than after natural infection.

Pfizer published Wednesday a preprint indicates that its shot provides 96.2% protection for the first two months, 90.1% effectiveness between the second and fourth months, and 83.7% of protection for the fourth, fifth, and six months. “We will need a booster eight to 12 months from the second dose,” Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla said Wednesday, according to a FactSet transcript of the company’s second-quarter earnings call. “While I cannot predict with certainty the future, I would not be surprised if, similar to flu, that we would need…to boost our vaccine against COVID,” Dr. Mikhail Dolsten, Pfizer’s chief scientific officer, said. “Whether this will be on an annual [basis] or based on simple diagnostics that allow it to be boosted at the right time before your risk for infection is high, we need to monitor.”

The Federation of State Medical Boards under president and CEO Humayun Chaudhry sent out a statement last week threatening doctors that they may lose their medical licenses if they spread “misinformation” about covid vaccines.
The Federation of State Medical Boards warned July 29 that physicians and other healthcare professionals could be at risk of losing their medical licenses if they spread COVID-19 vaccine misinformation on social media, online and in the media.
FSMB, a nonprofit that represents all U.S. state medical boards, said any clinicians who create or spread vaccine misinformation or disinformation risk disciplinary action by state medical boards, including suspension or revocation of their medical license, according to a statement emailed to Becker’s Hospital Review. “Due to their specialized knowledge and training, licensed physicians possess a high degree of public trust and therefore have a powerful platform in society, whether they recognize it or not,” FSMB said. “They also have an ethical and professional responsibility to practice medicine in the best interests of their patients and must share information that is factual, scientifically grounded and consensus-driven for the betterment of public health.”

NOTE the key term — “consensus-driven.” Also, FSMB has not yet formally defined “misinformation” or “disinformation” in its policy - so anything goes. To be effective, the globalist seeking to utilize wuhan must silence opposing narratives.

UN is claiming that the world has passed the point of no return for man caused global warming. WEF has identified global warming as a major tool with which to deconstruct the global economy an usher in its ‘reset’. There is growing concern among Tennesseans after Republican Gov. Bill Lee quietly issued an Executive Order 83 on Friday giving the state permission to call up the National Guard and State Guard “in connection with certain health care and emergency services operations.” Lee posted that this was to “reinstating certain regulatory flexibilities for our hospitals that are responding to an increase in COVID-19 cases. “ One section of Executive Order 83 would permit the construction of “temporary quarantine and isolation facilities.” “Telephone assessments for involuntary commitment cases are permitted,” the executive order also states.
NOTE - Though trying to soft pedal it, this EO does raise many potential red flags, largely due to some ambiguous terms and definitions that the medical tyrants could seize upon.

However this time there was a serious volunteer ‘security’ team of several dozen ex police and military standing guard to prevent the disruptions seen Saturday at a prayer meeting. Tweets from antifa controllers at the event show that the security presence caught them off guard. Some materials like syringes, drugs, etc were managed to be tossed on stage, Andy Ngo reported that Antifa are observing the event from afar but have not attacked because they’re outnumbered. The did try to intimate and assault participants after the event - generally the most vulnerable time for Antifa targets.

China has been conducting a large scale naval exercise in the S China Sea since Aug 7th.

Rumors are that Chinese submarines have been shadowing the British Queen Elizabeth CSG operations in and around the South China Sea. China currently has about 66 submarines, most limited to operations near the coast, though it has 6 newer Type 093 subs that can venture further into the Pacific, with 60 day solo operation capability.

Reports coming out of China indicate that it has punished a slew of officials for failing to curb a Covid-19 outbreak that’s spawned nearly 900 symptomatic infections across the country in less than a month. Millions are under strict lockdowns and have severely impacted industry and shipping components of its economy.

Now, combine this with Hezebollah’s increasing readiness to start a war with Israel and you have an even greater potential disaster on your hands.

(JPost) Lebanon’s Maronite Patriarch Bechara Boutros al-Rahi called on Sunday for the Lebanese army to take control of the southern part of the country, Hezbollah’s stronghold, and strictly implement UN Security Council Resolution 1701, after recent clashes between Israel and Hezbollah.
“We call upon the Lebanese army, which is responsible with the international forces for the security of the south, to take control of the entire lands of the south, to strictly implement Resolution 1701, and to prevent the launching of missiles from Lebanese territory, not for the sake of Israel’s safety, but rather for the safety of Lebanon,” said al-Rahi during Sunday Mass, according to Lebanon’s National News Agency (NNA).
The head of Lebanon’s Kataeb Party and former MP, Sami Gemayel, expressed support for the patriarch on Monday, saying that the party is “convinced” that there are many Lebanese citizens who agree with the patriarch and Kataeb Party concerning sovereignty and removal of arms outside the military.
Hezbollah supporters expressed outrage at the patriarch’s comments on social media, using the hashtags “Patron of bias” and “patron of surrender.” Hezbollah-affiliated reporter Ali Shoaib addressed the patriarch in a tweet, writing “Just for once, ask the Lebanese army to prevent the Israeli attacks instead of asking it to prevent the firing of rockets!!”

NOTE - This represents a significant stepping up of the resistance to Hezebollah’s control of the country, joining the Druze in their opposition of them using civilian areas as probable launching bases for attacks as well as embedding munitions depots and operation centers where there is a high probability of civilian casualties in the event of a war. They are not stupid, they can see what islamic fanaticism has done to Gaza and Syria and don’t want it to happen to Lebanon.

Taliban took control of Aibak town, the capital of Samangan province & captured army base in northern Afghanistan. Aybak is the 6th provincial capital captured in the past days in Afghanistan. Civilian panic is reportedly increasing and the Afghan army is largely in disarray. The rapid successes of the Taliban triggered the US and UK to issue directives last week for all citizens to get out immediately.

Turkey -
The trade in military equipment between Turkey and Ukraine grew in July as Turkey delivered TB2 UAVs to the Ukrainian Navy four months ahead of schedule. The Ukraine Navy will use the UAVs to patrol the Black Sea coast and the Sea of Azov, an extension of the Black Sea that Russia is trying to control access to in violation of a 2003 treaty with Ukraine that detailed who could do what in the Sea of Azov. This treaty was important for both countries because the Sea of Azov has several busy Ukrainian ports that basically handle most seaborne trade for eastern Ukraine. Turkey-Ukrainian arms trade, which has developed and grown since 2014.
OBSERVATION - Turkey is walking a fine line. First its conflicts with NATO yet aggressively supporting Ukraine - a NATO wannabe and supported by NATO to a limited extent. The second is polking the Russian bear, cooperating with them in Syria while actively opposing them in other parts of the world. Turkey’s UAVs and tactics have proven to be very effective against Russian equipment and Ukraine will benefit greatly from both the equipment and experience. The unarmed TB2s serve as a deterrent in the Dombas combat zone. Being unarmed, Russia appears reluctant to attack them. However, with their laser rangefinder and advanced GPS capability, it provides Ukraine with fast accurate means to counter any aggressive ceasefire violations, permitting response with much more accurate artillery fire.

Looting of markets and food trucks—a daily occurrence just a few months ago—were down one-third nationwide in August from a May high, according to the Venezuelan Observatory of Social Conflict, a nonprofit group. The phasing out of the price controls is already hitting black-market dealers who have been reselling shoppers marked-up products they obtained at government-set prices.

Wuhan virus -
More discussion on the death rate of jabbed individuals who became infected with wuhan anyway. Going back to CDC/Fauci announcements that 99% of wuhan deaths were unjabbed and 0.5% were ‘vaccinated” now follow-on data (from May) shows that 15% of the dead were jabbed. This continues the trend of highly jabbed (I don’t want to use the term “vaccinate” since the CDC/MSM usage has perverted the definition) states and nations having high ‘breakthrough’ rates.

Along similar lines, in March, the CDC declared that it was impossible for people who have been “vaccinated” for Wuhan to spread it to others. Then on July 27, the CDC flip-flopped by deciding that pseudo vaccine recipients are, in fact, actively spreading disease. This is but one factor in the disintegrating credibility of the CDC and been pointed out a lot lately. But this trend needs to be kept in focus as the MSM spins the narrative.
Why? Now with the approach of school, the discussion of forcing masks on students has reared its head. Lets summarize the changing narrative.
- Biden said Tuesday that his administration is examining whether he can order universal masking in public schools, overriding Republican governors in states like Florida and Texas. This after saying they weren’t going to interject.
- Latest is that the CDC recommends that everyone in K-12 schools wear a mask indoors, including teachers, staff, students and visitors, regardless of vaccination status. (also brings the question - what good is the ‘vaccine’ then) This is a change from earlier recommendations that said children do not need to wear masks inside classrooms this fall if they are fully vaccinated.
- WH / biden is unconcerned about any effects of reinstitution masks on children (physical or mental)
- Pediatricians are warning that masking and social distancing impacting child development.
- CDC effective concludes masks do little to stop the spread of the original wuhan, and probably less with this more spreadable ‘delta’ variant.
- Throughout the pandemic, children have accounted for a small subset of cases and just a sliver of deaths. As of Aug. 5, almost 4.3 million children had tested positive for Covid-19, or roughly 14.3% of total cases, according to the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Children’s Hospital Association. Out of that less than 700 died as a result (CDC). This is a smaller percentage than many other common childhood diseases.
OBSERVATION - Buried in all the news is that the risk to those 17 and younger is virtually nil. So far the ‘delta’ variant has not shown any increased lethality across all age groups, just increased infection rates. Note that the emphasis in the media is on infection rates, not death rates as before.

Israeli Prof. Retsef Levi released a study that indicates increased in Cardiac arrests (25% increase) & Heart attacks (83.6% ) (ages 16-29) and this increase was correlated with Mass vaccination.

The hospital system in Houston, Texas, is building tents in order to prepare for a possible patient overflow, as the latest increase in coronavirus cases is pushing its hospitals to capacity, The New York Post reports.

Media narrative wobbles again. According to a new paper by researchers from Carnegie Mellon University and the University of Pittsburgh, researchers analyzed more than 5 million survey responses by a range of different demographic details, and classed those people who would “probably” or “definitely” not choose to get vaccinated as “vaccine hesitant.”
In some respects the findings are as predicted — for example the paper finds that there is a strong correlation between counties with higher Trump support in the 2020 presidential election and higher hesitancy in the period January 2021 — May 2021.
But more surprising is the breakdown in vaccine hesitancy by level of education. It finds that the association between hesitancy and education level follows a U-shaped curve with the highest hesitancy among those least and most educated. People with a master’s degree had the least hesitancy, and the highest hesitancy was among those holding a Ph.D.

The SecDef announced that all active duty military will be required to be jabbed by Sep 15, if not sooner (pending approval of Phizer concoction). The Pentagon on Tuesday released guidelines for how service members could request a religious exemption in lieu of getting the wuhan “vaccine”. Pentagon press secretary John Kirby said military service members who wish to seek an exemption will be required to be counseled by a medical professional and a commander over the risks posed by not receiving the vaccine.
In addition, they will discuss how the decision could affect their deployability, travel, or even assignments – though the request processes will differ in each branch.
OBSERVATION - This will severely impact military readiness. Already there are rumblings that many may leave the service if pressed to be jabbed. Even if granted the religious exception the service member will be faced with essentially career terminating restrictions, resulting in decrease retention rates and discharges. While being counseled about risks posed by not taking the jab, they apparently will not be counseled about risks posed by RECEIVING the jab.

Finally for today, Speaking at a UK parliamentary meeting on Tuesday, Sir Andrew Pollard, a professor of pediatric infection and immunity at the University of Oxford, said that achieving herd immunity is “not a possibility” now that the Delta variant is circulating.
“We know very clearly with coronavirus that this current variant, the Delta variant, will still infect people who have been vaccinated and that does mean that anyone who’s still unvaccinated, at some point, will meet the virus,” Pollard said.
He said it was unlikely that herd immunity will ever be reached, saying the next variant of the novel coronavirus will be “perhaps even better at transmitting in vaccinated populations.”

Equating it to the tobacco use surcharge, employers in the United States are considering making the unvaccinated financially pay for their decision to refuse the experimental gene therapy shot. The $50 fee docked from each check would be considered a “health insurance surcharge,” similar to that of a tobacco user.

Paris police are going through cafes checking everyone’s “papers” and issuing fines for not having a wuhan passport in their possession. Initial fines are 135 euros going up to 9,000 euros in the event of a repeat offense.

Kalifornia legislature is trying to pass SB 742, which creates a jail sentence and fines for anyone that tries to protest at vaccination sites. The bill was in response to a January event where protestors shut down a COVID vaccination clinic at the Los Angeles Dodgers stadium. The event was only closed for a short time, but the occasion gave lawmakers an opportunity to take more control over free speech.

Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen issued another letter to Congress asking to increase the debt ceiling. “In recent years Congress has addressed the debt limit through regular order, with broad bipartisan support,” she pointed out. Yellen further noted the bicameral body came together three times during President Trump’s administration. Senate Minority Leader McConnell (R-KY) said, “They [Democrats] won’t get our help with the debt limit increase that these reckless plans will require. I could not be more clear. They have the ability. They control the White House, they control the House, they control the Senate.”

Bloomberg reports a labor strike at a Quebec pork-processing plant may have resulted in more than 130,000 culled pigs in eastern Canada.

Tyson Foods finally announced price hikes in September, and that input costs are rising faster than they can hike their prices. Tyson supplies about 15% of the total U.S. chicken market.

FEMA, in coordination with the Federal Communications Commission, will conduct a nationwide test of the Emergency Alert System (EAS) and Wireless Emergency Alerts (WEA) today. The national test will consist of two portions, testing WEA and EAS capabilities. Both tests will begin at 2:20 p.m. ET.
OPTIUM ANNOUNCERMENT -
On August 11, 2021 at 2:20pm, FEMA and the FCC are planning a Nationwide Emergency Alert Test. Test messages will be sent to TVs and radios, as well as cell phones that have opted-in to receive test messages.
The emergency alert signal will last about five minutes. At that point, your TV channels will be temporarily interrupted.

The Defense Security and Cooperation Agency cleared the sale of 40x 155mm Paladin self-propelled howitzers and 1,698 GPS guidance kits to Taiwan. The sale totals around $750 million and supports the Defense Department’s strategy to harden Taiwan in traditional and unconventional capabilities. According to Taiwan, the capability expansion allows them “to maintain a rock-solid self-defense and regional peace and stability.” China’s foreign ministry denounced the sale and said the actions undermine China’s sovereignty.

On Tuesday, North Korea threatened to increase its “deterrent of absolute capacity” and build up its arsenal of “preemptive strike” capabilities in response to new joint military training between the U.S. and South Korea.
Kim Yo Jong, the sister of North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, said in a statement reported by KCNA Watch that the U.S. and South Korea had begun “dangerous war games” which she claimed is “accelerating the instable situation” on the Korean Peninsula. She added that the U.S. continuing such actions “will surely make them face more serious security threat[s].”
OBSERVATION - Famine and other turmoil in NK should act as a brake on any actions in the near term. Desperation by the regime may cause an incident in the longer term in order to deflect from internal crises and unify against a common enemy.

In a possible retaliatory attack, an explosion took place today on an Iranian ship in the Port of Latakia in Syria according to Arab reports. According to reports, the explosion caused the ship to catch fire and several crewmen were injured. No word on the cause a this time.

With the total collapse of the Afghani govt in progress, biden states he has no regrets ordering the accelerated withdrawal of US forces.

Afghan officials say 3 more provincial capitals fall to Taliban amid US withdrawal; insurgents now hold 9 out of 34. The gains they’ve made have allowed them to capture equipment & free prisoners, which is having an effect on expanding their military power. Taliban using substantial numbers of car bomb attacks on key installations and facilities. Information coming out that the Taliban have started a fierce battle in Kandahar city and have captured most of the city. Some intelligence analysts are indicating that at the present rate, the Taliban could have Kabul isolated within 30 days.

According to US officials, US military is using AC130 gunships, MQ9 Reaper drones as well as B52 bombers & F18s to strike Taliban and boost Afghanistan security forces. AC-130s & MQ-9s are reportedly carrying out the majority of the strikes.

OBSERVATION - The Afghan military is falling apart even quicker than many expected. Panic among the civilian population is growing into a major humanitarian crisis.

As per his executive order, social gatherings will be limited to 10 people indoors and 25 people outdoors. When at restaurants, groups must be seated at least 6 feet apart, and professionally sponsored events must be reviewed by counties to ensure they are using safe practices.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention urged all pregnant women Wednesday to get the COVID-19 vaccine as hospitals in hot spots around the U.S. see disturbing numbers of unvaccinated mothers-to-be seriously ill with the virus.
Expectant women run a higher risk of severe illness and pregnancy complications from the coronavirus, including perhaps miscarriages and stillbirths. But their vaccination rates are low, with only about 23% having received at least one dose, according to CDC data.
VERY IMPORTANT OBSERVATION - Related studies demonstrated that women in their first and second trimester suffered spontaneous miscarriages. It is the vaccine and not the disease that causes this. Once again from the historical and yet to be deleted scientific reports.

Review of CDC claims that the “delta” variant is more transmissible than chicken pox shows that the claims are at best - way over stated. Another instance of fear mongering.

Festivals, conventions and concerts across the country are now being cancelled due to the ‘delta’ fear.

The Australian capital Canberra is going into a snap one-week lockdown after recording its first case of Covid-19 in more than a year. The lockdown was called for the whole of the Australian Capital Territory - home to around 400,000 people - because authorities do not know how the infected person caught the virus. Residents will only be able to leave home for essential reasons.

Quebec, announced that in order to stave off a fourth wave they say is inevitable, are instituting a vaccine passport system in the province starting September 1. This new law will require proof of immunization from anyone wishing to attend all public spaces, such as festivals, bars, training facilities, restaurants and gyms, and other organized large gatherings.

Police in Switzerland have threatened to stop enforcing COVID-19 rules over fears that the measures are disproportionately undermining the fundamental rights of citizens. While the letter was received favorably by lockdown skeptics, the FSFP attempted to dismiss it by claiming it only represented a small number of police officers.

Reuters reporting that in Paris, cafe and restaurant refused to run the health pass checks. Meanwhile French President Macron is telling the French that they must give up freedoms for freedom.
NOTE - These businesses are struggling to stay afloat after the initial lockdowns. These vaccine paper requirements for service is just another form o lockdown, denying them customers and workers. Watch out here in the US as similar dictates will do the same to US businesses. It’s about control.

Speaking of control, leftists in congress are pushing H.R. 4980, purpose of which is “To direct the Secretary of Homeland Security to ensure that any individual traveling on a flight that departs from or arrives to an airport inside the United States or a territory of the United States is fully vaccinated against COVID-19, and for other purposes.” This echos a recent Atlantic article stating that the unjabbed should be on a no-fly list. Some airline officials are commenting that they don’t think there will be a domestic vaccination requirement for airline passengers, at this time because “it’s very difficult for us to come in and mandate a vaccine that isn’t even federally approved yet” but that “we’re continuing to encourage as much as we can amongst our own people and our customers to get vaccinated.” (CNBC)

Los Angeles City Council voted 13-0 To create vaccination passports requirement for indoor public spaces such as restaurants, movie theaters, concert venues. City Attorney Mike Feuer has already endorsed the idea he calls “No shots, no admission.” In an article on Medium this week he wrote, “Those who reject that responsibility should temporarily lose some of society’s privileges until their reckless behavior no longer endangers the rest of us.”

Still scratching my head regarding the drop in gold and silver this week. Some think it was a global conspiracy to deflect gold/silver’s effect to be a canary in a coal mine towards inflation. Other, more quantifiable reasons may be a sudden strengthening of the dollar and US bond prices.
NOTE - These prices were fixed on PAPER gold and silver, a fiat system at best. Physical gold/silver are still drawing a lot more per ounce than the paper system.

U.S. consumer prices increases slowed in July even as they remained at a 13-year high on a yearly basis and there were tentative signs inflation has peaked as supply-chain disruptions caused by the pandemic work their way through the economy.
NOTE - a dose of hopium, supply chain disruptions continue to grow as I’ve noted. Yes, they are playing the numbers game, by excluding the volatile food and energy components.

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is quietly using a small regional airport in central Texas to disperse large groups of illegal immigrants throughout the U.S. after releasing them from detention facilities in other parts of the state, city and federal sources confirm. Local authorities in the city where this is occurring, Abilene, are being kept in the dark and a federal lawmaker is demanding an end to the “reckless and irresponsible practice” as well as answers from DHS after a series of local news reports exposed the covert operation. Taiwan announced Tuesday that it will stage its largest annual war games in mid-September, simulating a Chinese attack as tensions are soaring in the region. The live-fire drills, known as the Han Kuang military exercise, will involve all branches of Taiwan’s military. The war games will be held on the island of Taiwan and offshore with simultaneous land, sea, and air exercises.

Russia -
With much fanfare, Russia recently revealed a new single engine stealth fighter called Checkmate. This was done outside Moscow at the MAKS 2021 aviation show. Sukhoi, the developer and manufacturer of the most successful current Russian fighters, displayed a mockup of the new single-engine Checkmate stealth fighter, which is apparently the Russian answer to the similar American F-35. Checkmate is being developed by the same team that designed the Su-57, the Russian answer to the American F-22. The Su-57 proved to be a failure as an F-22 clone and few are being built, and those only for the Russian Air Force. Export customers cancelled orders and accused Sukhoi and the Russian government of fraud and trying to sell an aircraft that does not work. Checkmate appears to be a desperate move to salvage something from all the money spent on developing the Su-57.

Afghanistan -
The Taliban have taken the strategically important city of Ghazni, the 10th provincial capital to fall to the militants in less than a week. Ghazni is on the major Kabul-Kandahar motorway, linking militant strongholds in the south to the capital, Kabul.
Taking Ghazni is thought to increase the likelihood that the Taliban could eventually aim to take Kabul itself.
Almost a third of the country’s 34 provincial capitals are now under Taliban control.
NOTE - Recent reports are that the Afghan govt has called on the Taliban to stop its offense in exchange for a power sharing arrangement. Um, at this stage wy would the Taliban want to ‘share’ something that they are so close to obtaining on their own.

Wuhan virus -
CDC has updated its list of the riskiest countries for travel due to increasing cases of Covid-19. This new list has 12 of the 13 countries with the highest vaccination percentages in that list.

The ‘Lambda’ variant is quickly replacing the ‘delta’ variant as the next greatest threat on the horizon. It is reportedly not affected by the current approved ‘vaccines’ and is reportedly just as virulent as Delta. Lambda is the dominant in S America with substantial outbreaks in Chile, Peru, Argentina and Ecuador.

In spite of its high percentage of ‘vaccinate’ individual, Israel is looking at instituting another lock down to combat ‘delta’. Data from more than 400 seriously ill patients, 85 percent are over 60 and 90 percent are over 50. And more than half of the 400 have been vaccinated.

NOTE - 50% admitted breakthroughs, other reports indicate the percentage is much higher. As I noted a couple days ago, the current vaccines were not designed to prevent the virus, only lessen any symptoms - a faux vaccine at best, medical misrepresentation at worse.

White House COVID-19 response coordinator Jeff Zients implied during a recent press conference that the WH is looking into something more secure than the current CDC vaccination cards to document a persons’ vaccination statue. Though he didn’t come out and say it, the focus on the discussion was the implementation of a QR code. State and local initiatives that would use such technology and the associated databases created was applauded Zients.

OBSERVATION - Again , the WH hiding behind other entities to have their dirty work done.

Reports coming out the biden administration that they are looking into mandating a ‘passport’ for airline and other interstate travel. Without it you would be essentially confined to your home state. They have not gone forward yet because of the backlash such a decree would create. However, that option remains on the table if public opinion polls shift, indicating more and more people see vaccines as the best route to returning to normalcy. Congressional Democrats have already introduced a bill asking the Secretary of Homeland Security to mandate vaccines for citizens departing from or arriving at airports inside the United States or a territory of the United States, “and for other purposes.” White House officials say biden wanted to initially operate with restraint to ensure that Americans were ready for the strong-arming from the federal government. The federal moves have been carefully calibrated to encourage a wave of businesses and governments to follow suit.

biden et al goal is to continue to make life more uncomfortable for the unvaccinated without spurring a backlash. Other measures reportedly being discussed are how the federal government reimburses treatment for those who are unvaccinated and become ill with COVID-19. Left-wing elites in media and academia have begun calling for unvaccinated Americans to pay higher taxes and insurance premiums — and, worse, to be denied coverage for the costs of any COVID-related hospitalizations even if they pay for insurance.

OBSERVATION - These ‘elites’ over the past year have served to be the tip of the spear for repressive measures against citizens and reflect the forces driving biden’s policy goals.

RUMINT - One of biden’s ‘Covid Czar’s,’ Andy Slavitt, recently got into a twitter conversation about those faked vax cards, asking first “If people who go out and buy fake vaccine cards get COVID, do they expect someone to put them on a real ventilator?”
He then replied “Hold on for 3 1/2 weeks. You will see.”

OBSERVATION - This would be about the time congress returns to session (first of September). As noted throughout today, undercurrents are pushing for a more drastic action by the administration to push more jabs and other coercive means to accomplish compliance. We’ll just have to keep our ears to the ground as September approaches.

A group of around a dozen Tyson Foods employees in West Tennessee took to the streets of Newbern on Wednesday to protest the company’s new vaccine mandate. Tyson announced last week that all of their 120,000 employees nationwide will need to be vaccinated by Nov. 1 unless they are exempted for medical or religious reasons. Around half of the company’s employees are currently vaccinated, while front-line employees who receive the jab are eligible for a $200 bonus and up to four hours of pay if they are inoculated outside of work. The protest comes one week after the United Food and Commercial Workers (UFCW) union raised objections to to the mandate because the vaccine has not been fully approved by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

NOTE - Again, biden et al are relying on supportive businesses to do their dirty work. No wonder Fauci is excited at the prospect of FDA approval of these ‘vaccines’ which would strip much of the current arguments against mandatory vaccinations away.

FLASH BACK - CDC published on July 26, 2020, a document detailing plans for what it calls the “shielding approach” to limit the interactions of “high-risk” and “low-risk” individuals under wuhan directives. The document states it will be, whether voluntarily or involuntarily, “physically separating high-risk individuals from the general population,” under this approach, and they will rip families apart. “High-risk individuals would be temporarily relocated to safe or ‘green zones’ established at the household, neighborhood, camp/sector or community level depending on the context and setting,” the CDC states. “They would have minimal contact with family members and other low-risk residents.” Families would be separated for “at least 6 months,” the document states, and it gives itself room for it to last indefinitely by waiting until there are no more viral cases. The document admits they will not allow those captured by the CDC to partake in “Social/Cultural/Religious Practices” and recognize they need to prepare for resistance.

City Council President Nury Martinez and Councilman Mitch O’Farrell introduced the ordinance to require people to show proof of COVID vaccination as a prerequisite to enter any indoor public space in the city. That includes denying them access to grocery stores.

According to data from the National Association of Realtors (NAR), single home prices have increased by 23%.

With record low water levels in Colorado River lakes, The BLM is look at mandatory cuts to a water supply that 40 million people across the American West. The BLM’s projection next week will spare cities and tribes but hit Arizona farmers hard. The cuts are coming earlier than expected, forcing some farmers to hit groundwater even stronger to make up losses.

The WH increasingly views rising gasoline prices as a source of potential political peril — and is now asking some of the world’s biggest oil producers to pump more oil. This occurs as the WH has systematically proceeded to shut down domestic exploration, production and distribution (pipelines), forcing us to rely on an easily threatened supply of middle east oil.
NOTE - Gasoline prices are the most noticeable impact. However, most don’t recognize the extent of the petrochemical industry on many, many other items of common use - creating higher prices for those products as well.

Wholesale prices soar 7.8% for the 12 months ending in July, in the biggest surge on record as steel jumps 23%. It is the largest annual increase since 12-month records were started in 2010.

American Consumer Sentiment has dropped below wuhan crash lows. Data according to UMich Sentiment survey with the headline plunging from 81.2 to 70.0 – that is weaker than the April 2020 COVID crisis lows. Worse still, ‘expectations’ collapsed too.

Invasion of Illegals -
Border Patrol agents apprehended nearly 200,000 migrants who illegally crossed the border from Mexico during the month of July. This represents an increase of more than 418 percent over the same month last year and a 12 percent increase over the previous 21-year-high mark set in June. The Rio Grande Valley Sector in South Texas continues to see massive increases in what is already the busiest sector in the nation. Agents in this sector apprehended 80,306 migrants in July — an increase of 961 percent over the same month last year. So far this year, RGV Sector agents have apprehended more than 412,000 migrants so far this fiscal year. This is up 518 percent over the same period last fiscal year, officials reported.

A federal judge on Friday ordered the Biden administration to “enforce and implement” the Trump-era Remain-in-Mexico policy in response to a lawsuit from Texas and Missouri, which claimed that the administration’s attempt to terminate the policy was illegal and harmful.
The ruling by Judge Matthew Kacsmaryk, orders the Biden administration “to enforce and implement MPP in good faith” until it has been “lawfully rescinded” in compliance with the APA, and until the federal government has enough detention capacity to detail all migrants subject to mandatory detention.
NOTE - bided flipped off the USSC over eviction moratoriums, and other court orders on other issues. Hard to seem him jumping up and obeying this judge.

Domestic Terror -
DHS has issued a terrorism advisory Friday warning of “targeted violence” throughout the United States on and around the 20th anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001 terror attacks. According to the National Terrorism Advisory System (NTAS) Bulletin, the potential threats include domestic terrorists, “individuals and groups engaged in grievance-based violence,” and “those inspired or motivated by foreign terrorists and other malign foreign influence.”
The threat alert remains in effect from August 13 to November 11.

NOTE - Instead of the greater focus being on islamic terror ( particularly in the light of the crashing success the Taliban are having reconquering Afghanistan) they are focused on the spooky white supremists.

Strategic Developments /Deployments -
3000 US troops (two battalions of Marines and a battalion of Army soldiers) are being deployed to Afghanistan to protect embassy staff and help facilitate evacuation of US civilians. Initial forces began arriving on Friday and are expected to be fully in place by the end of the weekend, and will be capable of supporting the evacuation of several thousand people a day, both U.S. citizens and Afghan nationals.

OBSERVATION - The marines are most likely coming from the Iwo Jima amphibious group (24th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU)) on station in North Arabian Sea where the USS Reagan CSG is also stationed. \Another 1,000-strong unit of soldiers and airmen will deploy to Qatar “in the coming days” to help process Special Immigrant Visas (SIVs) for Afghans who helped the U.S. and want to leave, Pentagon press secretary John Kirby told a briefing. And a U.S. Army 82nd Airborne combat team, 3,500-4,000-strong, will fly from Fort Bragg, N.C. to Kuwait “sometime within the next week,” to be on standby in case needed to help secure the Hamid Karzai International Airport.

NOTE - One battalions of the combat team is likely the one battalion headed into Kabul - the DRF1 battalion.

China is threatening Lithuania over Lithuania’s relations with Taiwan. The Chinese Communist Party recalled its ambassador to Lithuania in response to the NATO nation opening a Taiwanese Representative Office in the capital city of Vilnius in July. The fact that Lithuania used the term Taiwan as opposed to ‘Chinese Taipei’ angered the authoritarian regime in Beijing.

Heavy rains hit the central Chinese province of Hubei on August 11 and 12, 2021. In addition, at least 774 reservoirs in the province have exceeded flood warning levels, as of late August 12. This has triggered more flooding and damage to agriculture in the region.

Situation further degrading, with the fall of cities and provinces accelerating. 20/34 provinces have fallen in the last 6 days. All US citizens warned to leave IMMEDIATELY.
Taliban has taken control of Asadabad city center in Kunar. Videos of fleeing Afghan forces being stoned by the locals. Taliban also captured Kandahar airfield.

Reports that the American embassy in Kabul has started destroying sensitive papers as intelligence estimate is Kabul might fall to the Taliban within 72hrs. Taliban forces are reportedly just 15-20km away away from Kabul. The New York Times reports that we’re begging the Taliban to leave our embassy alone when they come for everyone else.

Reports that US is switching more of its airstrikes from support of the Afghan military to destroying captured military vehicles and supplies. NBC reported that the US military is conducting one to five strikes a day, typically with drones, with most of the airstrikes intended to destroy equipment, including weapons and supplies provided by the US, captured from Afghan military and police.
The airstrikes have taken out a number of artillery pieces and tanks, as well as Mine-Resistant Ambush Protected vehicles and Humvees, a defense official told NBC.

Canada and Britain have also dispatched troops to Afghanistan to protect their interests and likely evacuate key personnel out of the country.
