Chris Christie considering a presidential run in 2024 -- even if it means challenging Trump

Former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie is not ruling out a 2024 presidential bid — even if it means running against his old friend Donald Trump, according to a report.

“I would not, no,” Christie told conservative radio host Hugh Hewitt on Monday, Fox News reported. “I would not rule it out.”

“If I go and look up Christie 2024, will that URL already be reserved?” Hewitt asked.

“ChrisChristie.com is, sir,” Christie answered. “So, we’re gonna keep that one and we’ll see where we go from here.”

Did you vote Perot in 1992?

He’s got as much of a chance as Larry Hogan or Pierre Selector. He is an elitist snob RINO.

He's not running to win in 2024.

He's running to get a few delegates, then trade them in for the promise of a cabinet post from the eventual GOP nominee.

This guy wants to be the U.S. Attorney General more than he wants a hamburger.

It amazes me how clueless these guys like Christie, Romney, Flake, et al, are when it comes to being self-aware of how they are perceived by the public.

They want to run as GOPers, they will be destroyed.

They want to run as democRATS, they will disappear from public life for good.

To the 72 million MAGA Trump supporters, they are losers and non-entities.

20% of the total vote in 1992 was small government, balanced-budget conservative for Perot - and that was AFTER the usual shenanigans to bleed off his support.

I figure that at least 15% of the TOTAL presidential vote is in that group, which has been voting Repuke since 1994.

I myself have seen enough of the surrender-monkey, lesser-of-two-evils "free beer tomorrow" Repukes to have lost interest in turning out for them - especially since Dominion will just sell my vote to the highest bidder.

That's 20-30% of the Republican base, son.

Seriously? Who exactly does he think is going to vote for him? All of his potential support was among Trump primary voters, which is why he immediately latched himself to Trump after he withdrew. But now he’s burned that bridge pretty thoroughly.

I don’t think Trump’s going to run again in 2024. We need him now. I do think he will play a prominent role with the base in selecting who the nominee will be. Christie can’t even win NJ. They hate him for bridgetate, beachgate and helping obama during Hurricane Sandy.
