You know, the mainframe guys have “disassembler” programs, that can read a “load module” (probably an archaic term now) and regurgitate back up an assembly code listing - which can in turn, in the right situation, be very useful to people who happen to be very knowledgeable about how certain compilers work. Like, the guys who wrote the compiler.

I have heard many rumbles about some of these machines being internet connected.
If that is true then an isolated evaluation of a machine many not show any anomalous behavior. ...but hook it up to the internet during an election and see what happens.
The opacity surrounding these devices is enough to declare them illegitimate. Their use should be outlawed.

They can get the executable, but will they get an un-compiled version? I frankly dont believe this is going to get us anywhere. We already know what can be done with Dominion- Georgia demonstrated.
I believe there is a difference in the voting software vs the tabulation software.
Source code IS WORTHLESS in this scenario without the exact same environment the executable binary running in the machine was built with. Source may have not changed but if a different version of the compiler/linker was used, it may produce a different binary. Different static libraries on the OS development system would change the binary.

Yes. Just take a copy of the source code and let the commies say we aren't entitled to it.
There should be nothing secret about the code, it all should be open to view/use by anyone, how esle can u trust it.
The mere fact that the Dems are trying to protect/hide it screams guilt.
I remember when I first read about that - and have yet to come up with a logical reason, from a coding perspective, a statistical angle, or any other position WHY they would code these machines to count in fractions... And there is only one reason - so they can adjust the weighting of votes to suit their purpose (like each Trump vote being counted as a fraction of a whole and/or Biden votes as greater than aa whole.
Ideally you want source, executable, and the actual running environment.
But with any of the three you can tell a lot.
But really, we have the dominion manuals that state the software manuals that tells you how to do what is alleged (switch votes).
With the source you can do white-box testing where your knowledge of what is in the software allows you to demonstrate its fraud capabilities.
Without the source, you can do black box testing, which has already been done.
The real problem though, is the knee-jerk “no widespread fraud” response from everyone almost universally. These people are at best oblivious to the fact that they have created an environment where fraud can prosper. At worst, some of them are the actual architects of the fraud. Our system does not provide any independent validation other than poll watchers so there really is no check on fraud at all.

Have heard it too but most interested in the Antrim, Michigan machine findings.
There seems to be an issue. The judge approved most of the findings for release.

Someone running a sniffer on the network would think "Oh, someone tried to connect to the machine but they didn't send any data, didn't do anything". WRONG!

That is opposite of the cryptocurrency developer's philosophy. The source code to the various coins are open source -- this allows thousands of eyes to peruse the code, so that weaknesses can be detected and fixed.
Whatever the bad actor detects, there are many good actors that will detect the same flaw. Voting software should be open source for the same reason, IMO.
