BREAKING: 76 of 141 Republican Representatives in PA Send Letter to Congress Asking Them to Reject State’s 20 Electors

On Friday, 76 of 141 Republican representatives in Pennsylvania sent a letter asking Congress asking them to reject the state’s 20 electors, appointed by Democratic Gov. Tom Wolf, who would be voting for Joe Biden. The representatives also asked for an independent prosecutor and a review of the agency that oversees elections.

The letter pointed to the fact that Governor Wolf has repeatedly undermined election protections in the state.

“For these reasons,” they wrote to the state’s Congressional delegation. “We the undersigned members of the Pennsylvania General Assembly urge you to object … to the Electoral College votes received from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.”

The letter came after a memo was signed by members of the GOP establishment saying that “that state legislators had no authority to ignore certified election results and appoint Pennsylvania’s delegates to the Electoral College themselves.”

"That state legislators had no authority to ignore certified election results"

The Penn GOP does not know how to play the game.

IF the DNC can ignore Penn constitutional laws to make up voting changes, then the legislators can make their rules for accepting election results.

If the first cannot be challenged, then neither can the second action be challenged.

To challenge a refusal to accept certified election results refutes illegal changes in voting methods.

This means nothing without a vote of both houses in the affirmative.

There are probably enough of us to either primary them or sit at home and ensure their defeat in the general.

If they’re not going to fight against massive election fraud, what’s the point of bothering to vote?

She/he/it Secretary of Health Levine should be in the line up, but not for nursing home geriatric genocide, not election fraud.

Doesn’t the state legislatures have the right to decide who their states’ electors are? Or are they trying to punt to the House?

Why isn’t it 141 of the 141 Republican Legislators?

Yup! We are AT WAR with CHINA.
And trust me, the bastards in deep state and Chinese bastards are dumping covid all over in the US.
Trump needs to declare martial law and get your guns ready.
Also, SCOTUS needs to declare this election unconstitutional due to fraud and CHINA having a huge part in the illegal voting!

“””IF the DNC can ignore Penn constitutional laws to make up voting changes, then the legislators can make their rules for accepting election results”””

The big problem for the Republican Legislators to overcome is that they were the majority in the Assembly and Senate in October 2019 when they passed ACT 77 that created ‘no excuse absentee voting’ that was totally contrary to what the PA Constitution said.

That is why lawsuit might get heard by SCOYUS

At least now we have them on record.

Anyone who did not sign that letter should be gone ASAP.

If I read correctly I see senators Casey’s (D) and Toomey’s (R) names on that list.

There is a place between Pollyanna optimism and defeatism. You can not simply roll over and give up. That doesn’t mean you are certain of total victory at all turns.

We only lose the war when we give it up. So don’t give up. A little optimism is better than total pessimism.

Not good news. If they had the votes they pick the electors. If they don’t have the votes they can ask for help from Congress.

A big waste of time. I don’t believe Congress has any authority in this case. It is up to the GOP legislature and it appears they have punted.

You are 100 % correct. Reading some of these comments are as bad as watching mainstream media. Our founding fathers never gave up and neither should we

Congress has total authority under the Twelfth Amendment (one state, one vote).

Read up on the election of 1876—that is where this was tested in the real world.

The PA folks did what they could with the cards they were dealt.

>WTH are the rest of them???

Caucusing and conspiring with the Democrats. Half of all elected Republicans are moles. Some are even hiding as signatories to this meaningless letter.>>> I think Mastriao said there where 10 that were on his side to vote a new slate of electors.
