You raised a good one!

You know, this stuff always perplexes me because I was in the Army for half my life, and I was NEVER sexually harassed by ANY of my superiors, let alone anyone of lower rank.

Did I get lucky? Maybe. Did I put out ‘vibes’ that men better not mess with me? Probably not - I was asked out on dates on a regular basis and had not one but TWO proposals of Marriage - one from a Pilot and one from a Navy SEAL - both the classic, Tall, Dark & Handsome. ;) (Not at the same time, LOL!)

I’m still friends with two other Army Gals, Retired. We’ve been together for 40 years and neither of them had any problems, either.

It was a new and unique thing when we all joined in the mid to late 70’s, and we ALL remained friends (did things together, socially with our families) with many of our Commanding Officers.

Again, I KNOW it happens; Once all the facts are on the table, I’m MORE than willing to believe a woman who says she was harassed. I just have NO personal experience with it, either in the Army, or in my civilian careers, afterwards.

They expect people to be hands-off in a nightclub? Maybe someone is forgetting why people go to clubs in the first place. Hint: not for deep philosophical conversations.

😁

Where was this experiment?

Brazil? I can believe it. Can also believe it in Italy. Etc.

Yes, guys, it does happen. But in the US, not so much.

As it is, I’ll take care of myself.

I would not say that.

Oh for pete's sake.

You go into a crowded night club and people are going to bump into you and you are going to bump into people and things.

Touching another person is a power play.

But is it sexual harassment? If my boss puts his hand on my shoulder in congratulations, should I take this as a sexual pass? That's where this is leading. And now sexual harassment can quickly turn to job loss and prison sentences. This is why MGTOW is so popular. No wonder so many men want nothing to do with women anymore.

The staffers should wear dresses that shock the toucher like the unit they install on cars if someone touches it.

No kidding

It's as if no one here has ever been in a nightclub before. It's crowded, noisy, and if you need to get to the bar or bathroom you have to get someone's attention in order to move past them. Since you can't hear anyone say "excuse me" over the music you usually have to touch them on the arm or back to get their attention, then they'll let you by. You do the same thing with men as with women, that is unless you want to stand there like a bump on a log until you pee your pants.

That's not sexual harassment, that's just how you move around in packed spaces with loud music blaring.

Well if this gets women to wear dresses more often, I might be okay with it.
