A Constitutional matter is properly brought to your court and you're too lazy and feckless to want to hear it and rule on it? Without a ruling, the restrictions could unconstitutionally be revived tomorrow. That's the whole point of having a SCOTUS! So that unconstitutional laws are not perpetuated upon the republic.
This man Roberts is actually way beyond merely lazy and feckless. His legal reasoning isn't even as clear (and wrong) as the liberal justices.
He's clearly being blackmailed.

Everyone is making valid points regarding Roberts. There was also at least two publicly reported occasions where he suffered serious seizures - a condition he suffers from. There is speculation that the medication he takes to help control the seizures can adversely affect thinking and state of mind.
Anybody who reads what is written IN LAW as a PENALTY for not buying health insurance and re-imagines it to be a TAX, is obviously legislating from the bench.
They’re both Fredos, full of themselves and blaming everybody else for their problems and shortcomings. I will give Fredo I (Chris) credit for working out and staying in shape, however.

Agree. I just have to chuckle at all this “Roberts is blackmailed” banter. Occam’s Razor applies here: he’s a liberal! Or more precisely a progressive-corportist.

look at his court records and you can see a sudden switch from conservative to libral on his rulings.
The issue with Roberts can be easily traced back to the obamacare vote. The Left clearly were desperate to ram it thru, and they needed Roberts to vote their way. Whatever they used to convince him must have been pretty powerful, since he’s been in their pocket ever since.
