More disappointing than Roberts? Probably Souter.
The Bushes betrayed us again.
But not surprising after Harriet Meyers and David Souter.
He has NO dark secret, he is NOT being blackmailed HE IS A LIBERAL and always has been the sooner we ALL accept this the better!! GWB chose a LIBERAL to be our Chief Justice, nothing nefarious going on here at all!! THANKS GWB!! The hand of God took Ginsberg at the absolute appropriate time THANK GOD!!!

My suggestion would be that each citizen send a personal email to Roberts stating that we are sure he is being blackmailed. Suggest that he is embarrassing himself daily and that he should resign from the supreme court. Stress in the email that we encourage him to confess and resign. If he gets enough emails it may give him the courage to do the right thing.
OK you got a point there, but the obvious difference is that Souter wasn’t Chief Justice.
Gorsuch finally ripped Roberts apart. I figured someone on the court would reach a boiling point with these irrational & vindictive rulings by Roberts.
I would not put it past this scumbag Roberts to retire if Biden gets in to give his seat to the left.
Gorsuch is a true civil libertarian. Don’t doubt him.
It is rather interesting to see him do it to the Chief Justice.
That is the problem.
It is the 60th most popular last name in the US. And John is in the top ten names for men.
Not as bad as; Smith, Jones, Brown or Johnson but certainly not uncommon.

Gorsuch said something similar in the Nevada case comparing casinos and churches.
I suspect that the other conservatives on the court see what we see concerning these increasingly incomprehensible rulings by Roberts & have just about had it.
Lest we forget...Roberts changed his ruling on Obamacare right in the middle of the deliberations. An action that is just unheard of on such an important case.

A Constitutional matter is properly brought to your court and you're too lazy and feckless to want to hear it and rule on it? Without a ruling, the restrictions could unconstitutionally be revived tomorrow. That's the whole point of having a SCOTUS! So that unconstitutional laws are not perpetuated upon the republic.
This man Roberts is actually way beyond merely lazy and feckless. His legal reasoning isn't even as clear (and wrong) as the liberal justices.
He's clearly being blackmailed.
