Nice!!
When we had limits by number in stores, there were lines at all of them - even Home Depot. When it was just masks and social distancing, no lines at all. The numbers are extremely low for the capacity of those stores.
Does NM not have curbside pick up or delivery?
I ordered cheap chicken quarters on our last Walmart curbside pick up. No standing in line. No getting up early on Thursday to put a turkey in the oven. It’s going to be easiest Thanksgiving every.
I think there’s a Christmas ham in the freezer from last year. No big deal either way.
Are you in Raton or something?
Sign up for something or other online and get a free turkey meal at Walmart. Several organizations giving out free meals. Local grocery store has free turkeys. None here mention proof of need.
Turkey at 68 cents/lb is about the cheapest holiday on meal you can make. 4th of July hot dogs cost more.
Just drove past my local Smith’s and there were about 40 of the governor’s Republican talking points standing in line outside. At 12:15.
Yes. With x number of slots per store per day. Only so many people picking groceries and other supplies at non-grocery stores. Just a quick check of the pickup at my local WM says the earliest available slot at mid-day Saturday.
“The state is not forcing anyone to stand in a crowded line, as you suggest.”
LIARS! I wish I had taken some
pics. I reside in Roswell, NM.
There were loooong lines at our
Albertsons and Wal-Mart grocery
stores. Ended up shopping at our
local Farmer’s Market...very
crowded as people were panic
buying. Shelves once again,
empty of peanut butter and TP.
Not fair to those of us who
didn’t vote for the “suck”.
Not everyone here are a bunch
of blind sheep. I’m positive
the slime of fraudulent
elections has oozed it’s way
across our borders.
Can you imagine all those people,
instead of standing in line,
lined up in their cars? They would
need traffic cops in the parking
lots! Deliveries would be a long
wait also as they’re scheduled.
This is America, dangit! Obtaining
food to feed a family should not
be a forced scheduled event.
“ Hey, NM dumbasses... YOU VOTED FOR IT, EMBRACE THE SUCK!”
Hey, I’m surrounded here! These Libs know no bounds on self-harm.
Your profile shows Texas. See my Tagline.
I saw that deal at Walmart, but you need to have a Smart Phone for it.
Mom’s in charge of Turkey this year - I’m doing Christmas - and my goofy family wants FISH that Beau caught in Alaska so I’m thinking of doing the ‘Feast of the Seven Fishes’ thing.
Still working on planning that. Personally, I want Ham, LOL!
This edict should be read as :"Arbitrary and Capricious",and not based on science;
therefore is is a violation of Civil Rights as identified in the Constitution under 'Rights of Assembly'.
This is not a lawful order, ..except by compliant serfs and slaves, which is what the government edict proposes for those that follow this edict.
Therefore, it is not enforceable, and is not lawful, and is, in fact, unconstitutional.
When the Governor appoints Dem state supreme court justices and the Dems confirm their appointment as in the past election they do her bidding. The court has already ruled that her public health edicts are constitutional and fines can be levied (as they were for the first lockdown).
That is a decision by the local, State Supreme Court.
It will not pass muster at the Federal Supreme Court, and plaintiffs should take it into civil court for damages.
I’m sure attorneys for the major national businesses shutdown in New Mexico are looking at that.
We are convinced that the RadDem governor is punishing areas of the state where we have defied her orders (and voted the HR district 2 Dem candidate out of office). All are suffering. Also, I wouldn’t be a bit surprised that with Dominion software used here the Dems rigged the election for President and US senator too. But the margin for the NM-2 Pub candidate was too high to tamper with.
