I'll probably catch some flack for this even here (as I've done so in past years), but the whole mask wearing hysteria was made possible by the public smoking bans and anti-"second hand smoking," bans over the past two decades. Behavior modification comes all too easy when it's packaged and presented as a matter of "public health." Smokers were made second class citizens, first herded into their own indoor seating areas, and subsequently into their own outdoor corrals (where that is even permissible).
Now that "second hand smoke" has been changed to "second hand breath," a lot more people's oxen are being gored, many of whom were perfectly fine with smokers being designated an official underclass.
Hopefully this one doesn’t last 1000 years like the last one was envisioned.
The UK press is almost solid fascist.
That was my concern at the time as well, and I HATE cigarette smoke. I was in a “bar band” before this second hand smoke nonsense started. I loved playing smoke free bars. My clothing and equipment didn’t end up smelling. But I was opposed to the bans because this is supposed to be a free country. If I feel strongly enough, I can simply choose to refuse to play in smoky bars. It insults me that the state makes that decision for me.
Also, all testing proved was that second hand smoke is harmful to Cats, not any other animal. It’s all about PPM.
As I’ve stated before, my mother had first hand experience with Nazi Germany. Her father warned her, “Say nothing in public, you don’t know who’s listening.” Anyone here wear a MAGA hat in public, lately?
Once all the Germans were warlike and mean,
But that couldn’t happen again.
We taught them a lesson in 1918
And they’ve hardly bothered us since then.

Dennis Miller said of German Reunification:
German reunification: I view this in much the same way I view a possible Dean Martin - Jerry Lewis reconciliation: I never really enjoyed their work, and I’m not sure I need to see any of their new s___.
Exactly - and if a bar or restaurant owner wants to cater exclusively to non-smokers (or conversely to smokers) that should be their decision, not the state's. Freedom is not a difficult a concept to grasp which can only lead to one of two conclusions about those who would infringe upon it:
1. Ignorance
2. Malignance
There really are no other options (other than a combination of the two), and people in either category should not be in positions of authority.
LOL
Last time they at least had some snappy uniforms.
Thanks to Hugo Boss.
Well they ain’t gettin’ Danzig back this time.
Don’t drink the kool-aid yet!
There is a growing movement across Europe of scientists who are forming their own independent committees to investigate the scientific anomalies they see are being promoted to the public as fact. A class action suit is being filed in Germany against the scientists who developed the theories behind the WHO recommendation to use PCR testing as a means of COVID diagnosis.
Do a search for: Dr. Reiner Fullmich - a German lawyer specializing in tort action against corporations and a law professor. Here’s one recent interview:

The all black ones were the best, especially when combined with hobnailed boots.
Lets’ hope you are right.
:-) Let’s hope not.
irrationality:
collectivism has primacy over individualism
statism has primacy over limited government
force has primacy over natural rights
Given the number of badges of submission that are on the market I’m surprised that no one is selling a mask with the yellow star and Juden graphics.
It also turns citizens against each other. When there are natural disasters, our citizens help each other.
It’s a slogan that globalists use. Biden got it from them.
