The data below includes establishments that have been required to close by the Department of Health for 14 days under the Oct. 22 and Nov. 13 public health orders.
The current public health order mandates certain establishments close for two weeks if they have four or more rapid responses within the last 14 days. The closure requirement applies to food and drink establishments, retail spaces, places of lodging, close-contact businesses as defined in the Nov. 13, 2020 public health order, and essential businesses (other than healthcare operations, utility and media services).
Rapid responses where it was determined that positive employees were not present in the workplace while infectious do not count toward inclusion on the closure list or the Watchlist.

Yep coming through El Paso to Las Cruces for a day. Then drive over to Roswell/Artesia for two days then head back to Memphis.
That’s what I was wondering.
What are these teams, and what powers do they have?
CedarDave may be able to answer that. Are they armed with swat type vehicles? Butt, again it will boil down to wanting to keep your business license/liquor license.
As far as I’m concerned, ALL business are essential.
Spoke last night to my sister that lives in ELP and is a nurse.
She says nothing big going on, lots of hype. Hospitals not even close to capacity. Agreement among health care experts she works with in ELP that this is a control issue.
Once dems seize control they will always be in control by inventing more and more emergencies and clamp down more and more, and as we see, allow NO disagreement or dissent.
I’m driving to ELP in the next couple days because my mother is dying. Have a reservation at a nice hotel. No issues.
Yeah, I believe everything a dem government agency, or sponsored agency says.
We have the annual flu deaths. . .and we have a vaccine!!
A single COVID death will cause dem tyrants close down the economy. . .forever.
DC not among the top. . .with it’s “homeless” street people pooping in the streets and not washing their hands, nor engaging in social distancing and not wearing a mask.
How can this be. . Doc F, I am asking you.
#of ‘other’ stores open is irrelevant, the REASON a food store is open is b/c it is profitable, meaning enough foot traffic exists. Moving that foot traffic to another location will create a run on provisions, AND b/c there is a 25% occupancy limit, 19th century breadlines created by Midget Wuhan Luhan.

Perfect!
Below are the answers to FAQ on procedures:
Which businesses will close for two weeks once they reach four or more rapid responses in 14 calendar days?
Any “food and drink establishment,” “place of lodging,” “retail space,” or “essential business” (other than those which meet the definition of a healthcare operation, utility, or media service) in which members of the public regularly visit, must immediately close for 14 days if there are four or more rapid responses within the last 14 days. These establishments are defined in the Nov. 13, 2020 public health order. When there are four or more rapid responses at a location that meet the criteria for inclusion on the Watchlist (see question 3) within 14 calendar days, the New Mexico Environment Department will refer the establishment to the Department of Health, which will evaluate and make the decision on establishment closure. An “essential business” may be permitted to continue operating if the Department of Health, after consultation with the Environment Department, determines that the business is a necessary provider of goods or services within a community.
Who will enforce the public health order requirement to close for 14 days?
The New Mexico Department of Health will enforce the closure requirement. The Department of Health, the New Mexico Department of Public Safety, the New Mexico Department of Homeland Security and Emergency Management, the Environment Department and other state agencies are authorized to take all appropriate steps to ensure compliance with other aspects of the public health order. Report violations of the public health order here. What are the consequences for a business that does not follow the public health order?
Failure to comply with the Public Health Order may result in penalties up to $5,000 per day by the New Mexico Department of Health and legal action. Other state agencies may separately initiate enforcement proceedings against the business.
See the thread I posted earlier today. It's not 25% occupancy; it's 75 persons or 25%, which ever is less. 75 persons in a big box store means you are always social distancing unless at the toilet paper shelf or the checkout line!
Thanks FRiend.
Thanks for the info.
Those procedures are a bit draconian.
Other states are adopting the same measures.
