Late Night with Seth Meyers
There are way too many instances of Democrat/media hypocrisy on the issue of wearing masks and social distancing during the Wuhan virus pandemic to list here, so Ill just reference a few of them before we get started on Chris Hayes.
There has been the repeated mask hypocrisy of CNN resident tough guy Chris Cuomo, starting all the way back in April and continuing up until at least August, if not later. There was House Speaker Nancy Pelosis maskless visit to a San Francisco hair salon on the same day she lectured President Trump and other Republicans for not wearing masks and not social distancing at the RNC.
Then there has been the Grand Poobah of it all when it comes to Democratic hypocrisy on following CDC guidelines: Chris Cuomos big brother NY Gov. Andrew Cuomo who, among other things, went on a victory tour of sorts over the summer and visited Georgia where he treated his own mask-wearing as, ahem, optional. There are many more examples where that came from as well.
MSNBCs All In host Chris Hayes is another on the list who has one set of rules for everyone else, and one for him and his fellow Democrats. As my RedState colleague Bonchie reported over the weekend, Hayes apparently forgot his previous declarations about how we must be extra safe because COVID is not going away, Trump has failed us on the Wuhan virus, etc etc, to encourage Democrats to take to the streets for dance parties to celebrate the Biden-Harris campaigns alleged victory.
While Hayes did encourage parties to wear masks, previous experience at covering these types of Democrat-led events should have provided a few clues to him that not everyone would.
Fast forward just a few days later, and now Hayes is back to being super-worried about the virus. So worried, in fact, that hes all but demanding a national mandate from the president he has previously labeled a dictator to make all Thanksgivings virtual this year:
Right now, if we had a administration that cared one whit about protecting Americans there would be national coordinated messaging all over the place about making Thanksgiving virtual this year (or outdoors where weather permits)! But there is none because they don't care. Chris Hayes (@chrislhayes) November 11, 2020
Yeah no. Not only is the mandate/messaging from the White House not happening on this, but considering all the phony sanctimony from leftists like Hayes this year where they lecture one group but give the other a pass, its a pretty safe bet to say that the only people who are taking him seriously on this are the people who will hold their own massive gatherings in private while virtue signaling in public about the need to limit get-togethers:
If your family asked you to stay home and zoom into the "virtual" Thanksgiving, it's probably because of your inssuferably hot takes like this. https://t.co/Y8CQXk8RIS

If Democrats can share a bottle of champagne with total strangers in a crowd of 10,000 people, I can see my mother on Thanksgiving. https://t.co/hukBgtSNNV

The same way the left virtually celebrated the presidents supposed defeat over the weekend? https://t.co/Ji4WBhOYGr

Thousands can dance in the streets and drink from communal bottles but your grandpa is just gonna have to spend the holidays alone eating a tv dinner. https://t.co/jNRYWDhYdw

Related to all of this, apparently, Chris plea for Democrat street parties to wear masks went largely unheeded:
New York reported its biggest one day increase in covid cases since April five days after there were giant gatherings in the streets when the media called the race for Biden but I guess they only count as superspreader events when its a Trump rally or Jews enjoying shabbat. Greg Price (@greg_price11) November 11, 2020
New Yorker Karol Markowicz, who has had it up to HERE with her states governors double standards on keeping yourself and your family safe in the middle of the coronavirus outbreak, had some great advice:
I see people wondering how NY will enforce the 10-person in residence rule. Don't wait to see. Be ready to, ahem, resist. Do not let anyone into your home. Not even to "see," "Come back with a warrant" is made for situations like these. Karol Markowicz (@karol) November 11, 2020
You could also tell them youre holding a peaceful protest at your home. I mean if such excuses work for Democrats like Chris Hayes, they should work for everyone else, too
My grief is deep, Kaslin. Frankly I have no idea how many people might show up. Pray for us.
Want to reduce "cases"? Stop all the damned testing of healthy people!!
She was here yesterday and told me she has to ask every one where she goes to if they want her to wear a mask. So she asked me, and I told her no.
I told her that when went voting on Nov 2 at my voting district the woman that I handed my drivers license to for the information had a mask on,and when she talked to me I could hardly understand her. It sounded like she was mumbling. I asked her if could move her mask down, she didn't want to. Anyway I told the woman that comes to my house no I don't want her to wear a mask
I will.
Beat me to it!
My hubby is hearing impaired. This mask crap is a real problem for him.

= = = = = = = = =
I don’t/won’t/can’t/won’t wear a mask and am waiting for someone to ‘call me out’ and I will point to them, then me, indicating I can’t hear them
Then, when they pull mask down to chastise me, I will point out they don’t have one on.
Since all this crap started only have been challenged a couple of times, I explain (to the PROPER people) that I have a respiratory problem and it basically ends there.
Few weeks back a woman in a REDSKINS shirt was giving me the evil eye but didn’t say anything.
Shame, as I was planning on telling her I would think of putting a mask on if she would take off that ‘offensive’ REDSKINS shirt.
Oh, I am 81, never took a flu shot (USN in 50s/60s doesn’t count) and went on with my ‘business’ as usual.
If ‘THEY’ were correct from the gitgo, I should be DEAD.
they don’t agree with the ideas of Thanking God, or to be thankful that America is great.
We must obey.
NOT!!!!
Some schools in FL opened, with strict mask rules. But how would they deal with kids who have hearing impairments or speech impediments if everyone must talk through those damn things?
