America’s greatness could be seen withering, remnants of a bygone era when almost everyone in the country accepted their unique stature in the world who were beneficiaries of freedom and tolerance unlike anywhere else. Democrats as recently as John F. Kennedy believed in law and order, a strong military, the second amendment, freedom of speech and expression, and the virtue of the United States. But, by 2008 a new sheriff – who presumably shoots for the legs – was in town.
No doubt, each election cycle carries the weight of fears, hyperboles, and prognostications. 2020 is no different, nor will future presidential cycles in 2024, 2028, and so on. Without question, our country faces two starkly different visions for the future, but for the time being the 2016 presidential election remains the most critical juncture in American political history. Without Trump’s surprise victory, many would have either accepted the course as unavoidable and sadly many more would have remained unaware of the underlying nefariousness of leftism. In this regard, Trump’s victory four years ago was a watershed moment for that nation as a whole, Democrats and Republicans alike, and especially a section of the American populace that found a voice.

I think there will a lasting Trump effect because they aren’t going to impeach all the judges he’s appointed and they won’t be tearing down the new sections of the border wall.
Then there are all of us, we got a taste of what a “Great America” is like and we want more. He has started something and and it isn’t going away. I’m not going anywhere either.

Among the many positive things Trump has done for America and Americans, saving us from President Hildabeast is one of the best. I pray daily that Trump prevails in proving he properly won reelection and in winning his second term. May the Lord help him win this battle and defeat his lying, cheating, backstabbing enemies.
Since it looks dire, I have had the same thought as the title and gave thanks for the last four years of restraining courtesy of God (via Trump). I also agree with you that we have to deal with the NOW and I won’t be happy until Trump gets his fairly won victory!

Right on. Biden cannot unconfirm any of the 3 Trump Supreme Court justices. The false sexual assault allegations didn't work against Kavanaugh and they certainly won't work against ACB. President Trump and Mitch McConnell deserve our praise for pushing through ACB so quickly.
I sometimes wonder though if the unintended consequence of ACB's confirmation before the election was to reduce voter turnout among pro-life voters. There is such a thing as a single-issue voter and once it was clear that ACB was a done deal some pro-life voters would have had less incentive to get themselves to the polls.

Now the democrats and media want to end at all and go back the the Obama years where suffering and plantation welfare kept alive.
