Um, Stevie....Fleetwood Mac was formed in London in 1967, founded by guitarist Peter Green, drummer Mick Fleetwood and guitarist Jeremy Spencer, before bassist John McVie joined the lineup for their self-titled debut album.

By 1979, the salad days were behind you.

Washington state legalized abortion in 1970. Actually the majority of the states have legalized abortion and the flailing over Roe vs. Wade is ridiculous. Proving how silly and undereducated most women are.

I am a woman myself, BTW.

And if Bob Welch stayed with Fleetwood Mac in 1974 she and Lindsey Buckingham would have not have been brought in to replace him.

In 1979, I though Fleetwood Mac was over. They were a 70s band, and were just trying to hang on to past glory. I remember seeing Stevie Nicks on SNL about that time, and it was just sad.

Fleetwood Mac was formed in London in 1967, founded by guitarist Peter Green, drummer Mick Fleetwood and guitarist Jeremy Spencer, before bassist John McVie joined the lineup for their self-titled debut album.

Correct, and according to Mick Fleetwood, it was really Peter Green's band but Peter did not want the name and insisted it be named after Mick Fleetwood and John McVie.

As you probably know, Fleetwood Mac’s name comes from the last names of the original drummer and bassist: Mick Fleetwood and John McVie. But neither of them suggested that name. Original guitarist and singer Peter Green came up with the name and Fleetwood later said it was an example of Green’s selflessness.

“He was also always willing to give as much space and creative freedom to other members,” Fleetwood told the Irish Times in 2017.
