DELUSIONAL DEM GOV: Boeing 'must' return to Washington when 'market...comes back'
DeepClips ^

In a surprise move, Boeing announced Thursday it will move all 787 Dreamliner production from Washington to South Carolina, a state known for its business-friendly environment. Washington Governor Jay Inslee immediately slammed the company for “turning its back” on the state and threatened a review of Washington's “favorable” tax treatment of Boeing.

Gee, do you think threatening government hostility is going to dissuade them from moving to escape…wait for it…government hostility?

Maybe Gov. Inslee should have focused more on creating a business-friendly environment in Washington, instead of acting like businesses don't have the right to choose where they locate.

Fascism - corporate entities are indemnified against market conditions but, at the end of the day, they become government property - to be disposed of as government sees fit. It’s hard to feel sorry for Boeing, who has played the anti-free market side of this game expertly for a long time.

Elections have consequences.

This is why the Rats hate freedom. People can do what they want, instead of what the Rats know is best

If you have ever read the book Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand, this is one of many “John Galt” moments when the producers leave and allow the system to destroy itself....

IMO, this has to happen, it will be very painful for those to stay behind and continue to fight a battle that can’t be won....at least not for a long time...

States like Washington, Oregon, and especially California still have a long way to go to fail completely but they have passed the point of no return and will only come back when these liberal destroyers are fully gone...

You beat me to it. When you look beneath the surface and see how the company does business, you see that Boeing is one of the most heavily subsidized companies on the planet.

"The party takes over the function of what has been society—that is what I wanted them to understand. The party is all-embracing. It rules our lives in all their breadth and depth. We must therefore develop branches of the party in which the whole of individual life will be reflected. Each activity and each need of the individual will thereby be regulated by the party as the representative of the general good. There will be no license, no free space, in which the individual belongs to himself."

"This is Socialism—not such trifles as the private possession of the means of production. Of what importance is that if I range men firmly within a discipline they cannot escape? Let them then own land or factories as much as they please. The decisive factor is that the State, through the party, is supreme over them, regardless whether they are owners or workers. All that, you see, is unessential. Our Socialism goes far deeper. It does not alter external conditions; no, it establishes the relation of the individual to the State, the national community. It does this with the help of one party, or perhaps I should say of one order."

Hitler intended to impose Socialism after the war was won. He needed the industrialists on his side at the time, to build the war machine, but once the war was won, the business class would have met the same fate as the Jews.

Yet do not think for a moment that Boeing is not angling for a better deal out of either the States of Washington or South Carolina.
