US voters have endured the first of three presidential debates between President Donald Trump and Joe Biden.
The event has also prompted a huge reaction from world audiences who tuned in for the chaotic event.
Newspapers and commentators around the world have criticized the tone and tactics of the debate.
JOE BIDEN and President DONALD TRUMP took the stage in Cleveland for the first presidential debate — a 96-minute, commercial-free affair moderated by Fox News’ CHRIS WALLACE, 35 DAYS before Election Day.
A few last-minute demands came in.
JOE Biden has demanded a break every 30 minutes during tonight’s presidential debate, according to reports.
There are no commercial breaks scheduled during the 90-minute event, prompting the Biden campaign to request brief pauses to allow their candidate to rest, Fox News reports.
The Trump camp is understood to have firmly rejected the idea and countered it with their own demand that both candidates be checked for hidden earpieces before the debate.
They both refused each other demands.
This morning a video and photos surfaced on the internet and alleged that Biden was allegedly wired.

Some went even further and alleged that the device is a neuromuscular electrical stimulator:
Is Joe Biden using a teleprompter part of the time? Yes, absolutely. We’ve all seen it. He’s using handwritten notes, a teleprompter, his computer screen, and any other resource they can to prop him up and make it look like he’s not a really old man with health issues.

Not that one - that was on his left wrist.
The thing in question is in the video James Wood tweeted, where you can see Biden adjusting his right lapel and there is a wire exposed on top of his shirt.

When Wallace asked him his first question, Biden said *Good Luck* then proceeded to answer.
Was he just repeating what was fed into the earpiece he no doubt had on?
Because that’s a really weird thing to do, wish yourself luck.

Interesting. Knowing that Joe would be wired - after all they refused to allow a check... I wonder if that was part of President Trump’s strategy - to intentionally interrupt Biden. If Biden was receiving talking points then by talking over Biden and interrupting the President may have been looking to cause Biden to lose his place, forget points, etc. Heck, that would probably work, probably be a good strategy even without the obvious electronic help. The net effect would be very confusing for Biden - trying to listen regurgitate what was coming in over an audio link while also trying to pick out what the President was saying. Basically doing 3 things at once, none well.

Trump is doing a rally this evening in Duluth. That should be interesting.
I am willing to spot each candidate a few reminders, based on my own personal experience. Until this Thank-You-Red-China fiasco started, I used to sing a few songs while the session musicians were on break at the Irish sessions at our local pub. I always carried a few printouts with me, because sometimes I couldn’t think of what song I wanted to do, or I’d go momentarily blank on a line of a song I’d been doing for 40 years. And that’s a lot less stress than a political debate leading to the number one position in the “free” world!
