The NFL has decided to commit suicide for the cause of America’s destruction.
My TV is off...for the first time on an “NFL Sunday” in 20+ years. I’ll probably turn it on tonight...but *certainly* not to NBC.

Beats me. I have other plans this afternoon. I'm having a dinner party this evening. There will be no football on TV.
But I won't be seeing any such ads today.
I am proud of my Steeler-fan husband.
He cancelled NFL Sunday Ticket and told DirectTV why. All by himself. I didn’t even know until the other day.
And after this week’s games, these Black Lives Matter millionaires will drive their luxury automobiles home to their guarded, gated mansions in white suburbs proclaiming, “We are all in this together!”
Instead, the wife and I are about an hour away from driving to Washington, CT for a nice hike in the woods in the Steep Rock Preserve by the Shepaug River. Then we will hit some farm stands on the way back for some fresh produce and will cook a nice dinner while prepping for the Trump rally in Las Vegas later tonight.
I'm not even going to check the scores. Because I don't care.
My wife still has all her Ravens gear. No talking sense to her.
The super bowl will be the highest rated tv show and NFL playoffs and prime time games will fill half the spots in the top 30 shows off the year.
You watch: major league sports will have to fight over a narrow audience share. Salaries will plummet. Advertisers will change. But the leagues will expect—and have every reason to believe—that universities will continue to provide them with prospects.
Something I don’t watch.
The CBS and FOX pre-game shows coordinated a Lisa Keys memorial video (at :36 past the hour on both pre-game shows) so that football fans can’t avoid it. (oh yes, we can)
For diehards with hot teams, I suggest listening on radio rather than TV until they get the message.
And, be advised, opening week will be extra heavy handed. We heard reports that we’d see all sorts of crap on the opening Thursday nite game, whereas the advertised endzone messaging was barely visible.
Goodell and the NFL are trying to have it both ways by appeasing their employees without offending their customers.
Baseball opened with a SJ splash, but backed off on day 2. The NBA has not backed off and has earned crappy ratings despite no competition with excellent competitive games.
Not gonna work.
Don’t lecture me. Don’t preach to me during sports. We watch to get away from trouble and strife.
Yes, I don’t have a clue what it’s like to grow up black, but I also don’t give a rats assets about skin color. It’s meaningless. I’ve never discriminated because of skin color and would be embarrassed to do so. Me and 300 million others.
This is not a racist country. We’ve elected —and RE-elected— a black president. Our top celebrities are black. Biden admitted last week when he said; “who would have ever thought to see every TV commercial featuring mixed raced couples ?”. The populous doesn’t care about skin color. We do care about character.
If there’s turmoil, violence, rioting in black areas, it’s because the population there have created it. We didn’t. I personally look to fatherless families with little or no respect for the rule of law. It’s not exclusively a black issue, but more prominent there for that reason.

Like many of us, Levin was a big football fan (the Iggles). After months of COVID-19 lockdowns, anarchist rioting, and ‘RAT lies, it would have been nice to have some college or pro football to enjoy. But no, the Left have f**ked up sports, too, including many of the rich, privileged athletes who play them. Hell, even the Japanese woman who yesterday won the U.S. Open tennis championship wore BLM-emblazoned masks for the two week tournament. And that’s the warning message: Leftists (Communists, really) f**k up and destroy everything they touch, including countries.
Vikings host Packers. Vikings honor George Floyd, criminal and druggy, and my formerly beloved Packers didn’t come out of the locker room to honor America. I’m done with the NFL.
While channel surfing, I caught the opening kickoff of the Falcons - Seahawks game. Ball was kicked and both teams took a knee. I played High School football in the 70’s - if we had pulled a stunt like that, we’d have been benched. After the game we’d have been told to turn in our equipment and been kicked off the team. Come on man,enough of this!! Just play ball!!
