The NBA and the NBA Players Asssociation agreed to continue playoff this weekend but only if ads during the games promote leftist politics and civic engagement.

So now you can get lectures on Black Lives Matter during breaks in the game.

Do any of these players know anything about economics?

I grew up watching and trying to imitate Oscar Robertson, Jerry West, Bill Bradley, Earl “The Pearl” Monroe, The Doctor (Dr. J. Julius Erving), John Havlicek........you get the idea.

Back in my day, every white kid I knew wanted to play basketball like Oscar Robertson; baseball like Willie Mays, and football like Walter Payton. We didn’t think of our sports heroes as white or black; hell, we worshiped them and wanted to be just like them.

To see basketball — and the other major sports — devolve into this is political statement BS...well, it’s heartbreaking.

There’s already a UT player who said he wouldn’t play unless the university renamed half a dozen buildings and gave 5% of the athletic revenue to Black Lives Matter.

Leftists realized athletes were the weak point. They hate America and hate sports as they celebrate mostly male achievement. The flag, cheerleaders, fun. All things leftists hate.

Athletes can be called “Uncle Toms” and brainwashed into using their public platform to co-opt sports to the leftist religion. To them, it’s the only religion they have.

Stadiums and arenas exist based on corporate welfare. Taxpayers pay the bills for the teams. Now if half or more the public don’t want to see or vote for this crap, the leagues will tank.

Then these athletes possessing little real education and life skills will have to get real jobs.

Look for college sports to fall apart over this soon. It’s coming. University of Missouri players went “on strike” a few years back and got the campus president fired.

I have half season tickets for Brooklyn Nets, because it’s something I can enjoy doing with my son, since he does not live with me..... My sales rep for the Nets called me recently....nice young Black guy..... I told him I won’t be watching a second of this Disneyworld BLM bubble season, and how much I can’t stand Adam Silver and his blatant politization, which alienates many fans.... then I sincerely told him that once Trump gets reelected, I’ll be happy to attend the games again with my son....and at that point, all the players can paint Black Lives Matter on their teeth and it won’t bother me......I’m not one of those “shy” Trump voters
