The defense attorney for the Minneapolis Police Officer presents a case with video evidence showing George Floyd had Fentanyl in his mouth and that he died from an overdose.

Why, thank you for the compliment. Have a great day, FRiend!
Aha. He had sickle-cell anemia which was designed many years ago by the white man to kill the black man. The drugs in his system are irrelevant.
I’m afraid no matter how much evidence is accumulated, the Minneapolis jury will be unmoved and stick to the liberal narrative.
Sadly most Republicans, including the President, fell for the early lie.
Thanks for your commentary and I hear what you are sayin. But what I do know is that there are political battles that as the hand is dealt are not worth the fight. This one cant be won. Any standard American looks at the video and is revolted by it. I actually medically think the neck restraint is excessive
Its a bad cop. They exist. He should have eased up at the loss of consciousness.
I am stuck with the notion that politics is the art of the possible and while there may be a technical excuse for the behavior it just doesnt oass the smell test. So while be may be trying to defend the indefensible ot weakens our position
My position is that there appears to be a problem and this is why there are trials and discovery and the process while slow will get to the truth without emotion. This is what needs to happen. For conservatives to jump on the see her had fentanyl in his system and therefore this is ok is just a loser in terms of politic.
I appreciate the fact that you think I am occasionally cogent. After working all night I sometimes wonder
Sad, if only he did not resist arrest he would most likely be alive today.
All schools should teach in civics class not to resist arrest, you can tell your story to the judge.
No need for a narrative here. The gross indifference these dirty cops showed to the health of their prisoner is all on video in sickening detail.
So he would not hurt himself or others?
It is the protocol called for in the training of the Minneapolis Police Department in excited delirium cases, which is what the police thought was going on.
Drugged up, dying people often hurt themselves or others. His throat was not compressed against the ground, at least not enough to cause bruising or damage.
We have been fed a lie.
Watch the body camera videos, which have only now been released.
They tell a completely different story than what we have been fed.
Out inability as conservatives to condemn this behavior is a losing proposition.
Yep. Supporting these dirty cops is a kamikaze mission if there ever was one. Sadly, some otherwise good folks just can’t get past the racial aspect of this case. I’ve no doubt they would not be supporting these Democrat city dirty cops had this occurred at a Trump rally.
Blame the media. The big lie was, and continues to be, front page news. There will be no retractions either. A few people will read about his overdose via the undergound media, but that's it.
This isn't...
We can agree that the police seemed to show “indifference,” but is that first degree murder?
Far more eloquently put than what I said. Well said!
So, the evil cops put that stuff in his angelic mouth?
“a competent cop would have arrested and subdued Floyd without killing him.”
Four tried (on video), and were unable to do so, because he was so big, strong, actively resisting and hyped up on drugs. His breathing problems, and complaints began well before he was on the ground.
His blood level of fentanyl was higher at his autopsy than the average fatal overdose, and he had additional fentanyl and methamphetamine hidden in has rectum, as well as what was in his mouth, and the packet he was shown discarding on video.
The kneeling position (on the neck) was actually trained by the Police Department, for controlling people in the throes of “excited delerium” - drug-induced over excitation, which can lead to death, if they are not subdued. It provides the leverage to use your body weight to restrain someone from pushing up without exhausting yourself, while struggling against someone who is massively hyped up on drugs.
George Floyd was overweight, had chronic high blood pressure, extensive coronary artery blockage, sickle cell disease, was a smoker and was positive for COVID-19 - beyond his fatal blood level of fentanyl (in addition to several other drugs in his blood at death, including other opiate narcotics, which also kill by shutting down respiration).
He was dying of a drug overdose, and panicked at the drug-induced shutdown of his breathing (the mechanism by which fentanyl kills). Likely only the powerful stimulation of the methamphetamine in his blood kept him conscious, as his breathing was shutting down.
We can agree that the police seemed to show indifference, but is that first degree murder?
Why should I care? Those dirty cops made their beds. Nothing to be gained in this debate for conservatives. These cops are going to hang for their deeds and rightly so.
Good question. None of this was ever answered. Also how did these 2 people get home to where they live, and why didn’t they get arrested? I thought if drugs are found in a car, all occupants get arrested, no matter who the drugs belong to.
Even people who were there and shedding a tear or two HAVE to be thinking, but would never say, “Uh, maybe that was a little over-the-top after all.”
Nope. Theyre going to walk. They have been over charged and the autopsy and police videos will exonerate them.
