If you think MLB is bad, just wait and see how the spoiled brats or the NFL act.
I havent watched since the first players strike.
Interesting. I’ve seen a few of his movies, loved Out for Justice, then saw him much bigger in a few others, and only seemed to be filmed above the shoulders.
I don’t respect his treatment of women, but doubt he raped any of them like popular Democrats do.
I had missed that (since ditching MLB) and thought you were referring to Little League!
I actually occasionally even watched an All-Star game, until they decided it was late and went home with a tied score.
I’ve totally boycotted baseball since Pesky, Doerr, Williams, and Dom D. retired...
Like anyway cares about that this pompous self-absorbed bloviator thinks.
Meanwhile, Detroit has just called up 3 hot shot prospects: Tarik Skubal, Casey Mize and Isaac Paredes. GO TIGERS!!!
me too (pun)
Lifelong Tigers fan, and I don’t care if they win the World Series, not watching.
What is the major league baseball you speak about??
Padres fan here...won’t slam the door permanently, but simply not interested.
I call it Marxist Baseball League MLB
Shouldn’t MLB be cancelled since they banned blacks until 1947?
Jerry Seinfeld called in the 1990s with his "cheering for the clothes" routine on the television show:

I’ll give cricket this. Their terms have a funny side. Googlies, silly mid offs and the tea break make me smile.
AND they turned the NL gay with the designated hitter.
Imagine a baseball batter having to bat for an hour and a half, without so much as making a strike, or hitting a lazy popup. That’s basically what a good Cricket batsman has to do, in order to get 100 runs.
My letter to the Atlanta ‘chopless’ Braves
As a longtime fan of the Atlanta Braves and Major League Baseball, I have to draw the line and say enough is enough. Sports and baseball, in particular, were meant as an escape from the world around us. Including diversity, gay rights, and now black lives matter, I will no longer tune in, turn on or purchase any Atlanta Braves items. I paid over $400 in tickets to the last game of the season against the St. Louis Cardinals, plus I spent over $300 in dinner, drinks, and sports paraganglia that night. Consider the fact that I also went to over a dozen games last year, subscribed to MLB TV and actively listened to the Braves on the radio. Now multiply that times 10s of thousands of fans who feel the same way as I do. I hope that it hits you and every team in the pocketbook.
I work too hard for my money to get punched in the face by an organization that I supported for so many decades. Getting rid of the Chop cost the Braves a chance to beat the Cardinals and now you are continuing your losing ways by completely removing it altogether. It may not be an important thing for you, but for fans like me, it most definitely is important.
I pray that none of the Atlanta Braves players kneel during our National Anthem.
Regards,
Thank you for reaching out and for your support of the Braves. We will share your feedback with our leadership team and sincerely appreciate you sharing. Our organization has not abandoned the tomahawk chop, and feedback from fans, players, and the Native American community are top of mind while evaluating the game day experience.
Again, we appreciate you sharing your thoughts and will pass them on.

I can’t remember which baseball writer it was....maybe Thomas Boswell or one of the other greats who went to England to investigate cricket and came away with the notion that it was sort of like unlimited baseball. The idea you have to get out the entire side instead of just 3 and no foul lines so every hit ball is fair (360 vs 90) leads to that idea. Also scoring a run doesn’t make you sit down.....keep hitting and swinging away. Anyway....the writer came away with positive vibes about the game.
I got the Cricket Bug when I visited Australia and New Zealand, I’m kicking myself now because I was in Sydney when The Ashes was going on, I would have loved to have watched that.
Oh yes, MLB wimpification of the NL with the DH. I’m not betting these toddler rules are temporary.
