The Vatican has launched a personal attack on a Catholic scientist after she shredded a pontifical publication for portraying "an earthly utopia without God." Dr. Doyen Nguyen, an academic physician and moral theologian with specializations in diagnostic hematology and bioethics, slammed the Pontifical Academy for Life's (PAL) document titled "Humana Communitas in the Age of Pandemic: Untimely Meditations on Life's Rebirth" as godless, Christless, churchless, hopeless and faithless.
PAL lashed out at her in a tweet, refusing to addressing the scientist-theologian as Dr. Nguyen: "Mrs. Doyen Nguyen criticizes the Academy on #COVID19 as 'professor' of Angelicum. But she taught only for one year as invited. Her title as @_Angelicum professor is incorrect as her whole argument.....
"This is a document issued from a prestigious body of the Catholic Church, yet there is no mention of Christianity or Christians, let alone Catholics," Nguyen wrote in an essay published Wednesday by LifeSiteNews...

So a magazine got her title wrong; she was lecturer, not a professor. Or maybe she mischaracterized herself as a professor.
So she hasn’t been affiliated with the school for almost a year now.
A sophomore at a Catholic high school could read the Vatican document and writing an essay in which he or she comes up with the same analysis regarding the lack of religious content and he or she would be correct.
I suppose if said sophomore had written such an essay for a theology class as a freshman they would be criticized for falsely portraying themselves as having written it as a freshman now that they are sophomore.
Yet another illustration of the pitiful state of the Roman Catholic Church during the reign of Bergoglio.
It is very sad, but Jesus assured us His Church ultimately will prevail!

Didn’t the Francis stack the academy with those who agreed with his take on “Life”?
Vietnamese Catholics and their diaspora descendants are not interested in the NEW! NEW! MODERN CHURCH! They tend to be believers not Trendies.
