This "woman of color" thing is just plain gonna lose bigger than the hail Mary Ferarro pick in 1984- all the black women are whako and/or ugly. Newsom is the pretty boy Biden isn't and has won a big time governorship. who can claim success. Biden will still lose but it will set up the party for the next battle. He wins and Newsom becomes the crown prince and POTUS within a year.

Newsome got elected governor of California (since the R party is almost inert in that state anyway, doesn’t really try to win statewide offices and only has a handful of campaigners — they could put a plastic doll up as their next “candidate” and do no worse, possibly they’d do better, ha!)).
anyway, Newsome is Nancy Pelousy’s nephew. (And, he’s lost a lot of his support due to his $1BIllion face mask boondoggle and his Nazi style dictates)
I’m sure he’d still carry California due to the lack of meaningful R campaigning there. But, he would add almost nothing to a Biden ticket. Biden is gonna get the California electoral votes anyway.
Biden needs to pick someone who can add to his electoral vote count, seriously add, if he wants to have any possible chance at all
Perhaps a popular (!) governor (which rules out Mrs. Michigan, another Nazi if not worse...yuck!) from a socalled “swing state”...or a very popular public figure of another kind...who could carry at least one big swing state...
Certainly Biden has (or should get QUICK) some intelligent campaign advisors, they will help him find someone for his Veep who will help (instead of detract, hurt) his campaign.
