Police in Austin, TX, have released the man who admitted to shooting a Black Lives Matter protester who allegedly approached the man’s car with a weapon. The suspect was released and there is a pending investigation on the matter, as stated by the Texas city police chief.

The man who fired the shots called 911 himself. He was detained by a homicide unit, interviewed, and released. His story was that someone came up to his car with a weapon during the protest and pointed the weapon at him. That apparently prompted the man in the car to fire his weapon, which he has a license for.

It is just a matter of time.

NO Police. We’ll protect ourselves.

BLM “claims” that he ran a red light and drove into a group of protesters. The armed “security” ran towards his car, and they got shot.

Read other places, “pointed and fired”. No alleged. And they probably meant the car driver had a CCW. Pretty sure no ‘license’ required in Texas.

Don’t point your gun at anyone or you’re liable to get shot. Seems like a pretty basic concept to me. Glad to see the law protecting the innocent for a change.

They never married or planned to get married, it would screw up both of their disability checks.

Do we have to pass a law to tell them to stop calling someone who points a gun at you a protester? Someone who throws a brick through your window a protester? Someone who sets fire to public buildings and businesses a protester?

This man was not a protester, he was an attempted murderer.

What in the world was this idiot doing pushing a quad amputee in a wheelchair there?

This is the kind of insanity that clearly demonstrates a lot of these people are just feral animals.

Note to BLM: Texas, even Austin Texas, is NOT South America or Africa where you can set up an impromptu road block and expect ‘compliance’.

So the innocent man is not scot free. All it takes is some soros-financed prosecutor who sees her mission in life as putting the man in jail.

This is going to get worse. Anti-fa is being armed and soon we will have to defend ourselves. The riots are cover for what’s really going on in Portland. Recall the shipment of rifles confiscated at the Port of Portland some weeks back? Now the anarchists are running around with rifles and ammo:

They lie a lot.

They were blocking a street. He honked at them.

They swarmed the car after he had stopped.

Then the guy with the AK47 clone came up and was shot.

The crowd scattered, and the guy drove away, in reasonable fear of his life.

As he did so, another member of the crowd fired at him, three times.

Here is the video of the Police Chief interview with the best facts known at the time.

It also helped a lot that he immediately called 911. Tom Gresham always says that in any self defense shooting, you need to win the race to call 911.
