John Durham, the U.S. Attorney who is heading a criminal inquiry into the Russia investigation, is to release his findings by the end of the summer.
The review, which became a criminal investigation last fall, has been derided by Democrats as simply a scheme to damage President Trump's Democrat rivals before November's election.
But Department of Justice spokeswoman Kerri Kupec, said that the report was not the 'goal' of the criminal investigation but that it will be 'pivotal to the restoration of that one tiered system of justice.'
'There is a story to be told there. The American people deserve resolution, and frankly, justice deserves resolution,' Kupec stated on behalf of Durham...

I suspect that a report will bewail the low standards and "mistakes" in the department. Lots of promises for better training and returning to standards e.t.c. "No evidence of wrongdoing" blah blah blah. Stop taking people for fools.
The problem is conservatives don't have very many people crying foul and beating the drums for vigorous prosecution and indictments.
Nothing from the likes of Grahmnesty, Grassley, Burr, McConnell, McCarthy and so on shouting loudly about the crimes and calling for prosecution.
The only person who is saying anything significant is Trump himself.
There is certainly that.
Arguably, however, the most critical point is that if Biden wins the upcoming election, much or all of it goes away.
Thus, one could argue, with or without indictments, if the story is important enough that the American voters "deserve to hear" it, then they deserve to hear it comfortably in advance of the next election.
Mere indictments may not impress the voters as effectively as a well-crafted, factually complete story. Multiple indictments the MSM could discredit and mischaracterize ("Trump is trying to steal the election") would not seem as helpful as a story the MSM would choke on.
I.e., IMO, keeping Trump in office is more important than seeing indictments prior to early November. We would be doubly blessed if we saw both by no later than early October.
“The left is riling up the base for the election.”
How is the left riling up the base?
Excellent points and well said and right on.
I think Trump and Barr and the patriots are as sly as foxes and they realize and understand what you’re saying.
I agree that both a hard hitting report and indictments would be best around early Oct.
“These woke radical Leftists will absolutely grab guns. If they get power, they will make the Assault Weapons Ban of the nineties, look like Bingo.”
Of course.
I’m still waiting for all the UN vehicles stashed in Montana to drive out and take us to the concentration camps. That was the buzz in 1995 during the Clinton years. Oh yeh, there’s also 500 divisions of ChiComms hiding in the Arizona sagebrush. They’ve been there for so long that they can apply for social security benefits next year.
Survivalist squirrels are still as nutty as ever.
Arguably, however, the most critical point is that if Biden wins the upcoming election, much or all of it goes away.
It’s all going away whether Biden wins or not because all of our institutions are utterly corrupt. The Resistance (TM) isn’t going to surrender if Trump wins. The GOP isn’t going to stop giving top cover to the coup after doing that for 4 years. Etc., etc.
I’m all for a Trump second term but it should be obvious by now that the second verse will be the same as the first.

You seem to be overlooking the fact many of those institutions are being pried open by Lady Justice and a determined president who is working with a very thin bench.
(BTW, you still owe me an answer to a question you ducked 6 months ago.)
“Oh yeh, theres also 500 divisions of ChiComms hiding in the Arizona sagebrush. Theyve been there for so long that they can apply for social security benefits next year.”
Logical fallacy of Reductio Absurdum.
That has no bearing on the statement that Liberals, especially these new breed of Radical Liberals will attempt to restrict 2nd Amendment rights and take firearms.
Hell, look at the Virginia Governor even now.
John we have already heard the story. We want prosecutions.
“Logical fallacy of Reductio Absurdum.”
No, it’s called satire. It exposes all the frightened mice who run around FR squeaking that we’re doomed.
Henry the VIII, is that you?
Then, get satirical on people who are freaking out and running around like we are doomed. That’s not me.

I think you're wrong on this.
I was saying over a year ago that this strategy for an “October surprise” will backfire against Trump, as the left and media will accuse him of using political power to influence the election. Did we ever get a complete declassified Horowitz report even?

...... pretty funny if it weren 't so serious
