NASCAR was already on life support, at one time I loved NASCAR, but my interest had fallen to near zero...after their recent embrace of BLM and Political Correctness I had totally given up on the sport....
Tony Stewart and Ray Evernham are two heavyweights who could pull this off.
They already have a TV contract, plan on running short tracks, probably some on dirt, will make the races shorter to around 2 hours in length.....
It will be very interesting to see if it works...
Along with putting Toyota in NASCAR
Yee Haw!
Rather pointless if all you are going to get are woke drivers. Unless they are nuking all of NOOSECAR, with Bubba included, its the SOS.
After 45 years I quit NASCAR a few weeks ago. I even sent the CEO an email.
Im looking forward to the new series.
Yep! Me too...
Best Daytona race I've been to was in 1955 (on the beach and street)... Along with a couple of other DI's, got Fireball Robert's autograph...
The others I've been to were many years later at the speedway...
I'd love to see Tony restore NASCAR of old... Parking lots full of cars and trucks with special flags...
Just figured out how long I’ve been a fan - looks like 35 years.
Found a new group putting on entertaining racing.
‘Stadium trucks’.
They started in football stadiums and have now moved to large road tracks.
Lots of action, lots of passing.
Entertaining without social justice....
Me too...up until about the late 50's..
