How do you explain ICU units filling up? I have one possible answer. My FIL is in grave health and is in in-home hospice meaning his condition is palliative not curative. He can’t go to a nursing home because they are refusing new patients (Covid concerns). IF he goes to the hospital (for tests or anything) he will end up in ICU and we will never see him again (or so we were told). This is very disruptive and time consuming to offer 24 hour care to him but the options laid out if we want to see him again, he stays home. So ICU is the only option for people unable/unwilling to provide services at home.

Would you please stick with facts. Covid-19 is real. you can easily make a case that the reaction to the disease was falsified. Such as in Texas where if you get a fever of 104.4 or greater they don't even test you anymore. you're set home with this virus. page 27 here
