Tennessee Republican Governor Bill Lee sold out his conservative constituency by signing an Executive Order, which allowed mayors in 89 Tennessee counties to issue COVID-19 mask requirements.
Shelby County (Memphis), Davidson County (Nashville), and a number of other counties passed mask mandates. And on Wednesday, July 8th, the county named “the most conservative county in the United States” in 2010, Williamson County (Franklin is the county seat) also passed a mask ordinance.
America is caving to the COVID-19 hysteria without any solid scientific proof that masks actually have a positive effect in slowing the rate of COVID spread. In fact, the wearing of masks may actually be contributing to delaying our return to normalcy.
Americans have historically been the champions of freedom worldwide. Sadly, this is no longer the case. If a mask ordinance can be passed in “the most conservative county in the U.S.,” it can be passed anywhere, as is being demonstrated before our eyes from coast to coast.
Many have read of “the mark of the beast,” where at some future time we will not be able to buy, sell, or trade without bearing it. Forcing the citizenry to wear COVID masks may be a type of precursor—essentially "branding" those who comply as slaves to an out-of-control, anti-life system. Perhaps we should call it “the MASK of the beast.”

But if the sheep line up to follow, then it’s a done deal. Now if the vast majority of county residents stormed the local government and said, “He’ll no!” Then things might get back to normal.
Knoxville has declared masks must be worn, but next door Anderson county hasn’t. I suspect that many from Knoxville will be making their way to Anderson county to shop. I did run over to the Publix yesterday, but no one said anything to me about not wearing a mask, other a few beady eyes from some Karens.
Lee has proven himself a limp wristed duche bag. A state of 7 million and less than 700 COVID deaths! He did nothing to stop the rioting in Nashville or Memphis which helped spread this, but even then, ER’s are no where near a breaking point! On issues, he folds faster than Superman on laundry day! Just waitng for him to announce he is changing his racist last name of Lee to ‘X’!

Thanks, Boomer. As I said, I like the man, and believe he’s decent. But that’s not cutting the mustard as Governor! Yesterday he spoke and helped pass a measure to remove the bust of Nathan Bedford Forrest from the capitol. (For anyone who wants to argue, yeah, I know he had a group of black prisoners killed, and was a KKK leader. But he apparently had a major turnaround late in life toward blacks, and several hundred attended his funeral. I thought we celebrated repentance? Of course these kinds of “details” don’t matter to the mob.

Not pissed at all but the word conservative has been hijacked by people I have nothing in common with. Perhaps even someone like you? If you supported NAFTA, the Iraq war, the take down of Libya and the endless war in Afghanistan, and you call yourself a conservative, please don’t bother replying back.
