Democrats Have Accepted Biden’s Failing Mental Acuity
American Retirement Insider ^ | June 24, 2020 | Editor

Joe Biden may have risen to the top of the Democratic heap because of his connection to Barack Obama but things have changed since he was vice president. He may have seemed qualified for the presidential gig before because of his ability to remain moderate in the face of growing political divisions. The Democrats are now coming to terms with the fact that he is not the man they thought he was. While they have been doing everything in their power to ignore the obvious, even some of the Democrats are starting to acknowledge the elephant in the room. Joe Biden is rapidly losing his marbles in front of our very eyes. According to a reporter from a Washington, D.C. news site, the Democrats are doing their best to grapple with the mess that they have created. A reporter for a Washington, D.C., political news site says Democrats are well aware that Joe Biden “does not have the mental acuity that he even had a couple of years ago.”

As long as his diminished mental capacity doesn’t interfere with his ability to take orders, I really don’t think anyone will care. This actually plays into the role.

His diminished capacity in office is not their concern. It is convincing enough voters to vote for him in his obvious diminished capacity and get him INTO OFFICE that is the hurdle.

Wasn't there something the Democrats put into their party or convention bylaws that they had the right to replace their candidate if he was impaired, or something like that? I think I read that here someplace. If so, it's pretty obvious they're going to switch him out for someone else.

Biden just has to do that stupid laugh and that worse stupid smile and the media will declare him the winner. Happened as VP during the debates twice!

Even shortly after means he’s president. We could have 46 and 47 in a very short time. Hopefully we stick with 45!

I agree.
Also, the Judeo-Christian foundation of our country is its enduring strength. Absent an agreement on first-things, we will be left for lost.

There have been, and are, any number of great American women who should lead a ticket. I’m keeping my eye on Kristi Noem.

A man whose condition is this fragile is not going to last for even one term.

"I'd be proud to serve as Joe's running mate!"

Exactly—millions of folks who will vote in November have no clue that Biden is senile.

No clue.

They will not know until the Trump campaign floods the airwaves and teaches them the truth about Biden.

Hopefully that will not happen until well into October—when logistics make it impossible to remove him from the ticket.

Elephant? I think they mean jackass.

Let’s not forget the truth he believes about the American people which he recently (mistakenly) spit out:

During a virtual town hall with black supporters on Thursday, Biden claimed that “10 to 15 percent” of Americans are “just not very good people.”

As we noted above, Biden's aggressive performance is a sure winner for him (and the president) within the Democratic base. But, it felt to us like he went a little bit overboard and, at times, bordered on bullying Ryan. Biden's derisive smiles and laughs while Ryan tried to answer questions weren't great optics for the vice president and his repeated interruptions won't make those who think politics should be more civil happy. Biden's agenda was clear during the debate: he was set on erasing the passive performance of Obama last week. That he did, but in so doing it felt like he went a bit overboard.

He is going to attack Trump and interrupt and laugh. Trump needs to get him to answer pointed questions that Biden won't be able to articulate answers too. I'm sure Trump will be prepared to knock him out when Biden repeatedly fails to answer and all he can do is laugh - he will look stupid and demented.

Biden, if elected, would be the 21st century version of John Gill.

Do debates make or break?
Clinton was perceived to have won the debates. Well, except for that impromtu fly landing on her face.

Off the topic but true story from 2012. When Biden was VP my son and I were headed to Radford to go to the bank. The streets were all closed off my police. We figured the bank was robbed, or something horrific had occurred.

Nope, Biden was there for a “visit”. His target was a little cookie/bakery shop called Crum & Get It. Well, they were happy to let old Joe have as many cookies as he wanted, but being conservatives refused a photo op. You will neeeever guess what happened. Yup, he waltzed right out and went to another place down Main Street (very, liberal owners), who fell at his feet for a breakfast and, of course, photo shoot. Joe didn’t care about any of those folks. He cared for a photo ops. Sad.

As I said before: ONE Presidential debate will finish Biden off, and Trump will win by a landslide!!!!

The debates will be like that scene in the first "Jurassic Park" movie where they lower the cow into the raptor pen. Biden is the cow.

ONE Presidential debate will finish Biden off.......Biden will not only have the questions ahead of time, but
will also have earphones so that that his campaign can cue him to the "right" "audience-approved" answers.

You forget, his campaign has also made arrangements so that the Right Rev Danny O'Flynn (Biden's confessor) is standing by
to administer the last rites should Biden accidentally be given a question about Hunter Biden's trips around the world as Obama was doling out foreign aid.

“I’m keeping my eye on Kristi Noem.”

Wasn’t the last female “rising star” Nikki Haley? However, I think Ms Noem is a totally different breed of cat.
