Trump's indoor rally is likely to be a much bigger coronavirus hotspot than any outdoor protest
Business Insider ^

President Trump is hosting a rally this weekend in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at an indoor arena with space for more than 19,000 people. Meanwhile, Black Lives Matter protests continue outdoors in cities around the globe. Both rallies and protests involve large crowds, standing close together, which means people could presumably catch the coronavirus at either type of event. But scientific evidence suggests that gathering indoors, without masks, as Trump's campaign plans to do this weekend, is a much more dangerous place for the coronavirus to spread than outside at a protest.

“Young DGAF people are spiking in cases. A mayor has been posting about it. It is not just a function of more tests. Percentage of positives is higher.”

Unfortunately some of them got the idea that unless you’re 90 years old and on your death bed, you’ll be just fine. Glad I already did my young and stupid years.

“So lets say most of them dont have a problem with COVID 19. The real question is are they spreading it to people who will have a problem.”

I do believe in trying to not contaminate others. But it is up to the individuals to mitigate their own risks. To rely on others is not something I would count on, no matter how strict the rules are. The risks for me are minimal and I adjust to situations. I did wear a mask a couple of weekends ago when I fertilized the lawn.

I cant do much more than hat/face shield, mask, and gloves. If you see a person wearing those three items how about not getting within a foot of me when I am trying to check out .

Happened to me twice today

Once from a customer

Once from an employee

I politely asked both to step back. All employees are suppose to be wearing a mask at this one store. When I called her out on it I saw she was wearing one when later. I didnt ask her why she wasnt wearing a mask.

I asked her to step back because she wasnt wearing one and I am high risk.

Still havent made up my mind whether I am going to write a complaint on her for getting so close to me without a mask when I clearly was trying to protect myself

neither wearing a mask

I’d say the protesters.

Protesters in Houston caught the WuhanVirus.

I hope the masks that are handed out say MAGA or something like that on them.

Or how about:

Lord Jesus, please heal our land.
or

Lord, heal our sick.
