A little video of a race that has been handicapped to make everyone feel guilty.
In this case, they make the kids feel guilty for having parents that did things the right way and that loved and cared for their children. While it makes a good point with regards to being aware of the difficulties that others experience, it is also brainwashing in the sense that at the end of the video, the kids at the front are left feeling like they did something wrong, something that they should feel guilty for, something that they should resent their parents for.
Why aren't the self-proclaimed racial leaders doing something to lessen the impact of the first condition mentioned. This would help to turn things around in minority communities, yet it is never mentioned. Might it be because they need the problem to continue?

I agree, are my children supposed to feel guilty because their parents loved them? People were warned by Diana Ross about being born out of wedlock and having children out of wed lock in her song “Love Child”. . One of the lines is “love child, always second best”.
But I have to agree that they are looking at the whole thing backwards. Those whose parents did the right thing don't have a "Head start," they are starting at the beginning where they should be. The rest have been handicapped by their parents' bad decisions. And now, in this day and age that we have birth control, there is no reason for single women to have kids they can't take care of. There's no reason for it. This isn't 1850s Dublin.

One of my white co-workers is so privileged ... he had to catch crawdads to eat at times while growing up. Was also busted stealing food. Dad was gone and Mom was broke.
Oh yes. I forgot. There IS a reason it keeps happening.
They took us to church. They made us work hard. I was doing concrete work when I was sixteen. Concrete is heavy, dirty and unrelenting. If the concrete isn't where it should be, or isn't properly finished on a hot day, then, the next day you are busting it out with jackhammers. There are no breaks when you unload a ready mix truck.
They taught me and my brother to take responsibility for our deeds as well as our misdeeds. There were no handouts or breaks. They paid their taxes and signed up for conscription when asked.
They maintained the family through thick and thin. They played by the rules. They suffered hardships.
I was privileged to grow up in the greatest country ever conceived. I was privileged to have an outstanding family. But it had nothing to do with race. Anybody can do it. It just takes hard work and discipline.
I’m the grandson of a WV coal miner. However he was a bit different then most. I don’t know the details but he saved his money and opened a store. Not a mining company store his store. This all occurred during the Depression. It lasted long enough for me to be taken to it as a small child in the early 1960s. I guess “ privilege “ is being aware that all that limits you is you! Your decisions!
Yep. The only thing I’ll say in defense of those who won’t is that if they were raised by a single mother who didn’t teach them any values, they are unlikely to even know HOW to work hard, or be careful with their money. These are values that are passed down within the family, and if they didn’t grow up learning them... it will be very difficult for them to figure it out on their own. Most don’t seem to.
you know its the black community’s problem if mom and dad can’t stay married, if they ever were to begin with.
don’t blame everyone else for the failings of your demographic. they love rutting around and over 80% of black children are out of wedlock, and no one in the black community gives a crap about this. stable families make everything better for the parents AND the kids.

Before he rightfully became a pariah, Bill Cosby said, in a public forum, and directed at minorities, that there were three steps to avoiding poverty.
1. Finish high school.
2. Don’t have kids until you are married.
3. Stay married to the parent of your children.
He was pilloried for daring to speak the truth.
A lot of what it tries to portray is the result of decisions made by their parents and grandparents.
It used to be the cultural norm that parents "wanted a better life for their children" than they had.
That motivation used to be called "sacrifice." Parents sacrificed so their children could have better lives.
That ethos is gone in the black community. This isn't "systemic racism," it's the consequences of LBJ's Great Society programs.
It's still there in the Asian communities built on multigenerational families. It's mostly still there in the European communities. It's likely still there in the Hispanic communities, too.
Even considering whatever "systemic racism" was inherent in "separate but equal," there are many causes of black poverty in the United States, as well as cyclical periods of gains and losses since emancipation and the Civil War.
People should read this wikiepedia entry, The Great Migration. Then read the companion links at the bottom, the Second Great Migration, and then the final New Great Migration to see how African-Americans improved since Reconstruction.

The unions ended the segregation of many jobs, and African Americans began to advance into more skilled jobs and supervisory positions previously informally reserved for whites.

President Lyndon Johnson put an end to all that, and then President Barack Obama blamed "white people" for it.
And now, desperate Democrats inciting rioting and looting to blame President Donald Trump for it.

I appreciate that my parents (who were really too young when they had me) were able to provide me with most of these “advantages”.
I turn, my wife (of 30 years) and I have given all these advantages to our daughter in abundance.
That’s how it’s supposed to work.
We even gave these advantages to scores of foster kids for the time they were with us and went on to adopt two of there foster kids so they would always have that. I felt bad for what they had to go through before they came to us, but we did all we could after that.
What I found interesting is that some in the back didn’t bother to race. I wonder why that wasn’t pointed out. Never mind. Not part of the agenda.
I’ve never skipped out on a wife or a child.I’m not even *slightly* responsible for any guy (or woman) who’s done so.
Do the black participants have reason to feel “cheated”.Very possibly! But not by me...and not by this country.
As Martin Luther King said...and said wisely...judge my kids not by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.
