Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey (D) lashed out at President Trump in an overnight press conference on the looting and burning of his city by protesters and Trump’s threat to bring in the national guard to save the city of Frey won’t.
Frey told reporters it was his decision Thursday night to have police officers abandon the 3rd Precinct police station that was taken over by protesters who looted and burned the building.
Wednesday night protesters rioted, looted and torched several businesses and buildings while protesting the death in police custody on Monday of George Floyd.

A reporter asked Frey about Trump’s tweets from earlier Friday morning on the riots that said, ““I cant stand back & watch this happen to a great American City, Minneapolis. A total lack of leadership. Either the very weak Radical Left Mayor, Jacob Frey, get his act together and bring the City under control, or I will send in the National Guard & get the job done right………These THUGS are dishonoring the memory of George Floyd, and I wont let that happen. Just spoke to Governor Tim Walz and told him that the Military is with him all the way. Any difficulty and we will assume control but, when the looting starts, the shooting starts. Thank you!
Frey accused Trump of “weakness” and added while slapping the podium, “Donald Trump knows nothing about the strength of Minneapolis. We are strong as hell. Is this a difficult time period? Yes. But you better be damned sure that we’re gonna get through this”:

There is NO excuse for this police officer to do what he did - he should be fired and imprisoned for manslaughter.
However, George Floyd had a history of violent crime, armed robbery and home invasion. He was not the innocent gentle giant as the looney leftists claim.
It’s the same as Michael Brown who assaulted someone just prior to his attempted arrest. He also tried to get the gun from a police officer in his car, assaulting him the progress and then was shot when he launched an attack against the officer.
There are always two sides to these stories and having watched several versions of the surveillance videos, some are edited and all end just as he is going to the ground catching the one officer by surprise. It also shows him dragging against the officers as they approached the police vehicle.
Passing counterfeit currency is a federal office and with his previous convictions could have meant life in jail for him.

Paper Tigers, Paper Politicians.. any way you cut it.. there is no leadership to turn to when you can see them cowering behind podiums and blaming others.

“Sooo,in mayor Freys eyes, strength is letting the police dept burn to the ground,170 businesses destroyed and countless cars burned....THOSE ARE STRENGTHS???????”
Yes, if your ultimate goal is top down, bottom up, inside out.

“If I were CEO of insurance companies, I would raise the price of premiums a couple orders of magnitude on all Minneapolis businesses due to local government failing to perform their primary duty.”
I’m pretty sure that most insurance policies have a clause against paying out due to riots or war. Hope I’m wrong, but insurers rarely miss a trick.

black masked, tattoed up, dressed in black whites smashing buildings and starting fires. Wonder which group they're from? hmmmmmm? Do these feckless Dem mayors and governors even know about AntiFA? Now there are busloads of rioters coming into Minnesota, according to a talk show host from KTLK Twin Cities.
At least ban backpacks, along with anything that could be used as a weapon. Take a picture of each backpack with its wearer. Confiscate the backpacks to be picked up the next day at a police station (no claims of stealing it). Arrest anyone carrying anything that could be used as a weapon like rocks, pipes, glass bottles, incendiary devices, etc. Its tough to break store windows with plastic water bottles.

Listened to Frey's recent briefing and he still projects he has no understanding of the crisis there nor the ability to handle it. He's emotionally immature as well. Frey's a perfect example of someone elected who has no ability to be effective in his position.

I think there are fonts that mimic typewriters.
Again, not sure if this is legit. Just wanted to share/post, for possible future reference.
