Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey (D) lashed out at President Trump in an overnight press conference on the looting and burning of his city by protesters and Trump’s threat to bring in the national guard to save the city of Frey won’t.
Frey told reporters it was his decision Thursday night to have police officers abandon the 3rd Precinct police station that was taken over by protesters who looted and burned the building.
Wednesday night protesters rioted, looted and torched several businesses and buildings while protesting the death in police custody on Monday of George Floyd.

A reporter asked Frey about Trump’s tweets from earlier Friday morning on the riots that said, ““I cant stand back & watch this happen to a great American City, Minneapolis. A total lack of leadership. Either the very weak Radical Left Mayor, Jacob Frey, get his act together and bring the City under control, or I will send in the National Guard & get the job done right………These THUGS are dishonoring the memory of George Floyd, and I wont let that happen. Just spoke to Governor Tim Walz and told him that the Military is with him all the way. Any difficulty and we will assume control but, when the looting starts, the shooting starts. Thank you!
Frey accused Trump of “weakness” and added while slapping the podium, “Donald Trump knows nothing about the strength of Minneapolis. We are strong as hell. Is this a difficult time period? Yes. But you better be damned sure that we’re gonna get through this”:

The mayor of Minneapolis is the one who helped cause the burning of their police station by having them abandon it instead of protecting it. Will anyone of substance even say
it publicly?
Those looter-criminals should have been shot while they were in the process of their evil deeds.

The Guard members are paid by the Army or Air Force for their regular pay and annual training...if the governor calls them up to put them on state orders, the state has to pay...if they are federalized, it goes back to the Army or Air Force having to pay.

Typical dirtbag Democrat mayor. His police don’t control the riot situation and his Democrat governor who has control of the state NG does nothing to send them in so he blames a Republican President for their failure to act responsibly and respond to the rioters

“I cant stand back & watch this happen to a great American City, Minneapolis. A total lack of leadership.
Then do something about it you Democrat half-wit. Stop expecting the central government to come and wipe your ass for you. And, incidentallly, Minneapolis is not a great city and as it continues to fill up with aliens (legal and illegal) the city will become as irrelevant as is LA and San Francisco.

did anyone see this?
I was watching a Fox reporter interviewing some of the masked protesters. One guy CLEARLY HAD A BROOKLYN ACCENT, CLEAR AS A BELL and distinct from another guy who was from Minnesota.
I have no doubt that a lot of these activists were sent there.

43 guardsmen have been deployed in St. Paul. They have been ordered to stand down.

Let it burn. I hope they make their way to the pissant mayor's house. President Trump shouldn't lift a finger to help this idiot, unless it's the middle finger.

In my area (not MN), we (members of the area militia) are getting ready to be at a protest near our city hall today.

The "mayor" must be removed from office. By lawful means, including force.
Once the "mayor" allowed police stations to be attacked and torched, he gave the rioters carte blanche to do whatever they want to do. The weak man here is the "mayor". He will be the direct cause of more death and destruction.

If I were CEO of insurance companies, I would raise the price of premiums a couple orders of magnitude on all Minneapolis businesses due to local government failing to perform their primary duty.
These idiots are slitting their own throats. Not many businesses are going to be able to afford to continue here even if they survive. Lower income startups will be hurt most. City tax revenue will fall.
But, if it keeps just one person on welfare then it must all be worth it.
