A video posted on social media this week shows a police officer keeping his knee planted on the neck of a black man who pleaded that he couldnt breathe and subsequently died shortly afterward.
It happened Monday night, when cops were responding to a forgery in progress. Police arrived and saw the suspect sitting in a car. According to the Department, the man resisted arrest so he was placed in handcuffs, adding he appeared to be suffering medical distress.
The Police Dept. added, At no time were weapons of any type used by anyone involved in this incident.
What the P.D. did not address is the video, and its incredibly disturbing.
The black man can be heard moaning and telling the officer that hes having trouble breathing.
The officer doesnt budge, as another officer passively watches.
Its apparent the man is in distress, as a passerby screams, Thats bulls***, bro. Youre stopping his breathing right there, bro. Get him off the ground, bro, adding the officer was enjoying it.
The man becomes motionless, an ambulance shows up and the man is taken to a hospital where he died.

The footage, which was shared by bystander Darnella Frazier,
She said on Facebook that the police killed him, bro, right in front of everybody, the Washington Post reported.
He was crying, telling them like, I cant breathe, and everything. They killed this man, Frazier wrote.
This is what I disagree with. Knee on the neck is out of line. I think all cops should have dogs with them as partners. Dont care how billy bad ass you are, dogs cant be reasoned with, cant be out ran out, can trace a run away felon and scare the crap out of thugs knowing they will be dinner!
Your last paragraph - my thoughts exactly. That chicken winged excuse for a peace officer was definitely getting off keeping his knee on the restrained man’s neck. I’m so thankful that I was not there. Couldn’t have tolerated it.
True. It’s a dangerous job, but police and their defandants make things difficult.
I wasn't there.
I prefer to wait until the facts are in.
If the man died as a result of the cop's actions he should be held accountable.
Haven't you learned anything from the michael brown or trayvon martin cases?
No video of Brown or Martin cases. I trust my eyes here.
How can you tell someone to get up and get in the car while kneeling on his neck? It’s plain sadistic.
I retired from Law Enforcement 10yrs ago and right before I left, there was a big push to prevent what is called positional asphyxia. Once a suspect has been restrained and is no longer resisting, you are supposed to roll them to their side slightly to ease stress on their diaphragm. Once the suspect says repeatedly that they cant breathe, you better be taking steps to let them breathe or you are headed towards what happened here. This was preventable.
Thank doctor spiderpig, eminent psychiatrist!
After years of psychoanalysis with the policeman, and consequently violating the doctor-patient confidentiality agreement, you have chosen to speak out about this officers sexual proclivities.
Either that, or you are projecting your own sexual deviance onto to the officer.

MORE: Video obtained by CBS News shows what appears to be the start of the confrontation between George Floyd & Minneapolis police officers. A restaurant’s security footage shows cops taking him into custody, but the restaurant owner says it does not show Floyd resisting arrest.
You’re a moron. Talking is done during exhalation.
Weight on the body prevents INhalation.
Sod off, vermin.
Who cares about his race?
They kneeled with most of their body weight on his neck until he passed out, peed himself, and died.
It’s all right on video with no chop shots or cutaways.
They kneeled on his neck until he passed out, pissed himself, and died.
My God, you’re both stupid and dishonest.
It’s all on video, you don’t need to rely on the fig leaf of “we don’t know the whole story” based on a still shot.
So the mere accusation of passing a bad check, is enough (by your own stated words) to help allow the cops to strangle you to death on camera.
You can talk while exhaling. But with someone's weight on your body, you can't INhale.
This was plain and simple murder.
Tell you what. Let a 225-lb guy kneel on your neck for 6-7 minutes without a break. Wanna guarantee nothing will happen?
Why are you such a dishonest piece of crap?
The video is there. No trickery, no missing 20-second gaps, nothing like that.
Just a burly cop with his knee on a man’s neck until the man dies, after pleading to breathe, then passing out, then dying.
it IS in fact unnatural to kneel on another human’s neck until they die.
And it wasn’t the rush of adrenaline, heat of battle.
The guy was prone, handcuffed, and on his stomach.
So the only reason for the satisfied look on the cop’s face would be some form of sadism.
...I’ll bet *you* saved a copy of the video to fantasize to at night.
Who said he wanted to remove it?
