Attorneys for universities under investigation by the U.S. Department of Education are trying to block Congress from obtaining records that detail the schools ties with China, according to a May 19 letter exclusively obtained by The College Fix. The letter, written by the Education Departments General Counsel Reed Rubinstein, tells lawmakers who requested the documents that the universities lawyers claimed Freedom of Information Act exemptions and legal privileges to block record production to Congress.
Rubinstein wrote that some schools may be overly aggressive in marking some documents confidential or privileged.

Just look for when they deposited 30 pieces of silver to find where they serve the ChiComs.
Looks like China has co opted our labs, utilizing US resources for pennies on the dollar. Just like WHO.
They need to “drop a nuke” on these schools. We will probably be horrified to see the extent of corruption and selling out these colleges have done with China.
Way past time to root out the Commies who have burrowed themselves in over the years. Senator McCarthy should be lionized as a hero. Way, Way past time to strike back against this treasonous behavior.
That brings up the question - WHY? Secrets between the colleges and the commies? WHY?
That's why to see the docs.
Wonder how many of these unis knew or had a suspicious about what was going on in Wuhan last fall/early winter...knew then said nothing.
Inquiring minds want to know.

Local college here in very rural KS started the online sister college thing with them a few years back. It has been a deafening silence coming from over there since a day or 2 before the ‘Rona went wild.
Hhmmmmm.
Leftist Prostitutes don’t want to lose all the full freight tuition and the Chinese “investment” in “research/espionage”.
There are laws about export of certain technologies. They are not just applicable to defense industries, they apply to all US entities. Universities, I believe, ignore them and the State Department looks the other way because ... reasons. But if anyone actually cared to look I would bet that some work done explicitly for the DoD has been done by Chinese nationals (profs and students) who passed it straight on to China. It’s what they do. And the schools, if they knew, could be in real trouble for that.
The democrats will willingly betray their country for campaign contributions from anyone who is willing to pay, even those who hate this country but love its money.
What the actual ***k.
How close is this behavior to TREASON????
Cut-off their federal funding, as well as refusing to accept students who get federal aid.
There are only a handful of colleges abd universities who refuse federal (and in some cases, state funding as well,) including Hillsdale and Hard Work U, the College of the Ozarks.
Mark
Oops, I meant to say, "As well as cutting off all federal aid (grants and loans) to students who attend those universities that refuse to comply."
Mark
As a lot of these “universities” are receiving tax payer funds they should have to publish their ties to the Chicoms.
No problem -- until the records are provided, they get no more aid, including student aid for those attending.
No wonder these traitors teach our children to hate their own country. They're on the take. Let's see some prison time for these lowlife 'academics'...
