But Entwhistle wash;t young, so he doesn’t count
No he wasn’t young. Entwistle was 57. By most definitions that is still middle aged. Moon was 32....young adulthood I suppose.
I saw them in 82, then much later on several times (2004 through 2018) The last time we saw “The TWho” was in 2018 in Vegas, at Caesars. Normally, I buy tickets close to the stage because the folks in the front stand and dance and sing along. At Caesars, we were in the balcony surrounded by old farts such as we, only older. No standing or dancing allowed. I was even afraid to move in my seat because of the grumpy old man beside me—and I am not talking about my husband.
I always thought Moon was in the forever 27 club.
And when you’re over 50, alway keep 911 on the speed dial when you’re in a hotel room with a hooker and ample cocaine. ;-)
Talkin bout my G G Generation!
They put on the best show at Woodstock. By far. (I know, I watched the videos, lol.)
I don’t wish that I was there, but that’s cool that you were. Must have been quite an experience for a 17yo.
I’ll never forget my first Stones concert at age 18 - Munich, 1981, front row. Quite the experience.
