Several items of interest for everyone from this morning
News you wont see reported on CNN, Part I In fact, the little 3 paragraph story at this link is the only one that shows up on a Google search. The news is that on Monday, the U.S. reported its lowest Wuhan Virus death toll in over a month, coming in at 1,015. Major media outlets, after having spent the last 3 days trumpeting an absurd study predicting the toll would rise to 3,000 per day by June, have basically put an embargo on this positive development, as well as the downward trend in deaths we have seen nationally over the last two weeks.
News you wont see reported on CNN, Part II Bidens previous 8-point lead over President Trump from two weeks ago in the Reuters Ipsos poll has now evaporated. Turns out that people are figuring out that the President is far more suited to deal with the economy and the ongoing national disaster than some guy holed up in his basement who doesnt know where he is half the time. Go figure.
News you wont see reported on CNN, Part II A new poll from the extreme leftwing group Daily Kos shows that Bidens public approval rating is massively under water, with just 34% approving and 56% disapproving. By contrast, Trumps numbers come in at 43/55. Yet, to show just how fake public opinion polling truly is, this very same poll asks you to suspend all disbelief and think that Biden actually leads Trump nationally by a margin of 47 to 44. CNN might report that last part. Maybe.
Finally, here is the biggest bit of news that happened this morning. DNI Ric Grenell sent a letter over to Adam Schiff this morning informing him that Schiff will either release the 53 transcripts from the House Intelligence Committees shame investigation into possible Trump-Russia collusion, or Grenell will do it for him.
From a report at the Daily Caller:
In the letter, Grenell urged Schiff to publish the documents, but said that the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) is prepared to release them if the California Democrat refuses to do so.
I urge you to honor your previous public statements, and your committees unanimous vote on this matter, to release all 53 cleared transcripts to Members of Congress and the American public as soon as possible, Grenell said in the letter, first reported by The Washington Examiner.
I am also willing to release the transcripts directly from the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, as to ensure we comply with the unanimous and bipartisan vote to release the transcripts.
Republicans on the House Judiciary and House Oversight Committees sent a letter to Schiff on Tuesday saying that he has been blocking the release of the transcripts.
It is unclear why Schiff has withheld the documents from public view. His office did not return a request for comment on Tuesday.
All of the transcripts, with our required redactions, can be released to the public without any concerns of disclosing classified material, Grenell wrote to Schiff.
[End]
I told you yesterday that the Deep State is very anxious to get rid of Grenell from the DNI job, which is the only reason why the Senate Intel Committee is likely going to approve his nomination. Todays letter shows us one big reason why thats the case.
That is all.
Agreed. If Schiff-for-brains declared it was raining, I woul check outside.
Personally, if I were to review the transripts for redaction, anything that does not imperil field operations would be left in plain text.
This is more disinformation from one of the worst low rent blogs out there.
The DNI has been withholding the transcripts for close to a year pending White House review.
The House committee voted to release them but the Administration blocked it.
Grenell says it's now OK.
The reality is just the opposite of how this article spins it.
You must have been at a seance. He has been dead many years. But nice try.
Uh...no!
In 2009, Grenell founded Capitol Media Partners, an international strategic media and public affairs consultancy with offices in Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York, and Washington, D.C.[citation needed] He was also under contract as a Fox News contributor, commenting on foreign affairs and the media.Grenell has written for The Wall Street Journal, CBS News,CNN,Politico,Huffington Post,The Washington Times,Newsmax, and Al Jazeera. In 2012, CNN ranked Grenell as one of the top five Republican consultants in social media, and Time magazine named Grenell as one of the Top 10 Political Twitter Feeds of 2014
Grenell was a foreign policy spokesperson for Republican candidate Mitt Romney during his 2012 presidential campaign. Grenell is the first openly gay person to work as a spokesperson for a Republican presidential candidate.
