As Biden struggles, Hillary waits for the call (vulture lady clrcles Biden)
The Hill ^ | 4/30/20 | Liz Peek

Hillary Clinton continues to waver in the wings should Joe Biden fall.

Don’t look now, but Joe is failing. Not only has his campaign been rocked by sexual assault allegations from one-time staffer Tara Reade, but the public is beginning to give up on the former vice president. A new Emerson College poll showed 57 percent of likely voters think President Trump will win reelection in November.

Remember, Establishment Democrats put forward Uncle Joe because he was the “safe” candidate, bound to defeat Trump. Oops.

That’s not the only problem that crops up in the Emerson Poll. It also shows Trump supporters 19 points more enthusiastic about their candidate than Biden supporters. That “enthusiasm gap” will drive turnout this fall. With Democrats dependent on young people and minorities, both typically less reliable voters, that lack of excitement for the candidate could be a big problem.

Also less than gung-ho about Biden is, predictably, Bernie Sanders’s army. Though the Vermont socialist has endorsed Biden, 51 percent of Bernie supporters are, according to Emerson, open to voting for a third-party candidate.

Another red flag is Biden’s tepid fund-raising; according to the New York Times, Trump has a monster cash advantage of $187 million. Further, in swing-state polling, the presumptive Democratic nominee is running behind where Hillary Clinton stood at this point in the race, and we know how that turned out.

As all of those issues cast doubt on Biden’s prospects, the presumptive nominee must now fend off Tara Reade’s allegations, which put #MeToo-supporting Democrats into an incredibly awkward spot.

None of this augurs well for the Biden campaign, which will likely confront further obstacles in the months ahead. Eventually, the coronavirus will no longer excuse the former VP’s invisibility; he will have to engage in the kind of give-and-take that often shows him getting befuddled, including real – not scripted – town halls and interviews.

At that point, the public will see what numerous Democrats have noted sotto voce – Obama’s former wing-man is struggling with some cognitive decline.

"20 years after HRC is mouldering in her grave, there will still be people freaking out about her eminent comeback."

That's why we'll need to put a wooden stake through her heart and cremate here body. Anything less would be reckless.

Mark my words—He will have no choice than to pick Hillary for VP. He will be Hillary 2.1.

Hillary lost to Obama.
Hillary lost to Trump.

She could be a three time loser. Something to think about Hill.

The author of this article thinks Hillary is a better candidate, because she will be more likely to defeat Mr. Trump, who already kicked her sorry @ss?

And that Dem voters will somehow be more enthusiastic about Hillary, when they didn't have enough enthusiasm to elect her four years ago?

And that Bernie might somehow prefer Hil, even though she and her mob denied him a fair shot at the nomination in 2016 (& probably 2020 also)?

The author sounds like a Clinton staffer...

I agree, Biden wasn’t thought to have great odds against Trump, but was thought to give the democrats better odds down-ballot. With COVID-19, things became more unpredictable, and Biden suddenly seemed like he might have a better chance. But now, with the Tara Reade allegations, Biden is in a lot of trouble, the accusation of sexual assault is absolutely devastating to Biden’s campaign, and I don’t see it going away. It even inoculates Kavanaugh a little bit going forward (they were planning to keep dogging Kavanaugh every possible chance they could), because the evidence against Biden is orders of magnitude stronger than anything that ever came up against Kavanaugh. The Tara Reade accusation even gives Trump a little cover going forward, because they loved to keep hitting Trump with what he said about grabbing them by the “p***y.” Now, Biden is alleged to have actually done much worse than what Trump merely talked about.

I wish Tara had held her fire until the election is over. I rather like the prospects of a Biden Candidacy. The only problem I can see is that the Democrats who are fighting so fiercely against restricting the voting to legal voters will be cheating at a level miles above previous., Remember- Trump won Florida and the election solely due to Democrat incompetence in the vote count in Broward County. Those shenanigans will be run full tilt in every Democrat controlled city in 2020. City waits for the rest of the state to report then the Democrat vote growers know how much of a crop is needed and produce it.

It is a well known fact amongst those who know such things, that Hillary Clinton died of Ungulant Fever in 2004. The construct that has been displayed as her was created by the Disney Corporation initially as an addition to the Haunted Mansion Ride at WDW Orlando. When it was discovered that riders would abandon the Doom Buggies and run in terror upon seeing this apparition, it was decided to repurpose it. During the 2016 election cycle, there were issues with the hydraulics and pneumatic systems controlling the construct. Most of these have since been resolved. Some have called the present iteration, (Rumored to be known as Hillary 5.2) the most humanlike version since 1972.

Biden would have to be crazy if he selects her. The Clintons have a history around them of people “accidentally” dying when they create a roadblock.
