7,000 alleged NYC COVID-19 deaths have been thoroughly examined and in 99.2% of them at least one other life-threatening illness was involved. How can the virus be in and of itself deadly if it's killed virtually no one in NYC who wasn't already dying of something else?
Lol. Would help.
It seems to be lucrative enough for everyone invoived here.
The worst blog spammers here who NEVER post any comments with their excretions are supported by admins, and many here, must be worth it somehow.
It is a case of apples and oranges. On the basis that an obese person with high blood pressure and diabetes was nearly dead in the first place. A healthy person would have easily escaped.
The obvious point is that authorities are assigning deaths to COVID 19 when in fact that is a MINOR attributing factor. Pneumonia or heart failure is the primary cause.
“Yes. They are now talking about testing the dead for covid! They report as a covid death anyone who dies, and who has some of the virus. This is deliberate and intentional. The virus did not kill them, but we are being told that it did.”
Am curious about the crowd who are pontificating and personally attacking anyone here daring to say this.
“If an obese person with high blood pressure and diabetes dies of smoke inhalation in a house fire, do you say they died of smoke inhalation or they died of natural causes?”
Technically, it depends. If the underlying conditions prevented, hindered significantly, their ability to save themselves, then yes the underlying conditions CAUSED their death.
While the medical cause of death may be smoke inhalation, a healthy person would not have died.
I have seen on TV a person so fat that they cut a hole in the side of the house and removed them with a fork lift. Extreme I know, but in a fire they would die because they were obese.
If they weren’t obese they wouldn’t have died.
If there was no fire they would not have died.
Tomato Tamato, potato potatoe
This will be studied for YEARS to come. Eventually we will have a plethora of conflicting studies to peruse.
Will we ever really know? I doubt it.

Because there is a great likelihood that in many of those cases that without the complication of the Wuhan Virus they were not in a critical condition with respect to any other condition(s) they had. That without the Wuhan Virus, there is a good possibility their death would not have occurred yet.
As with everything else since BJ the Clinton I and the Telecommunications Act of 1996 (For the Children), it will entirely depend upon the political party of POTUS.
Kind of like saying a cancer patient, who is shot during a robbery didn’t die of the gunshot wound...
Whatever. I am tired of arguing with fatalists like you. You are just another person sitting at home in your armchair pretending to be an expert based upon information you find on the internet.
Suffice to say that I do not believe this virus is anything more than a new strain of the flu and will soon pass, and there is nothing you can say or do that will convince me otherwise. I will continue to practice good and mandated hygene as I always have and will allow you and every other nervous Nancy to panic and believe as you please but don’t ever mistake that with allowing you authority over me or my opinion. Toe-Mae-Toe, Toe-Ma-Toe.
Go look at the CDC website and read how they calculate flu deaths. They are wholly an estimate based on death certificates from the previous year.
The ONLY reportable to the CDC is Pediatric Flu deaths.
They track flu tests.
The total cases are estimated. The total hospitalizations are the most accurate measure...but even that is a “Flu Related Illness”. And the deaths are estimated a year out.
There is no way the CDC would ever know if you or I were sick with a mild flu. We would never get tested. We would never get reported.
I am not suggesting COVID is the black plague, and I am not opining on whether or not its worse than the flu. I am saying that people making definitive statements about flu numbers this year are not using the official CDC process for counting influenza cases, confirmed cases, or deaths.
When you DO you the NY State government statistics and compare testing of the Flu with Covid testing, and then use the CDC % to estimate flu hospitalizations and deaths...with a starting point normalized the Corona Virus kicks the flu’s ass. In that state. This year.
Part of the problem with the Flu bros is they do not use “like” statistics. They also compare a full year of flu against six weeks of Covid.
Its comparing apples to oranges in the worst way.
The true impact of virus over time is going to have to be a death statistic compared year over year. The “impact” of the virus WILL looks at the impact of people NOT going to the hospital. It will take into consideration the reduction in accidental deaths and any rise in suicides.
The impact measures not Covid Deaths, but the impact of Covid on Society.
It is a concept that takes a little bit of thinking. And it is beyond the emotional grasp of most Flu bros. But it is the single measurement of this whole thing that is worth looking at.
There ya go again...
Talking shit about stuff you clearly have not educated yourself on.
It did not. It consisted of eel sushi topped with spicy tuna and roe along with house special noodles.
It’s the first time that I’ve been to my favorite Chinese restaurant since all of this started.
Aside from getting Friday evening dinner, it was also a small exercise in confronting the growing prejudice in me towards Chinese people. This really bothers me, because I love the people who run this restaurant, Chinese or not.
It went pretty well, I’m proud of myself for going, and I’ll go again. They shut down 100% of their in house dining, it’s strictly take out now, which I know is affecting their business negatively.
This week I’m going to patronize another locally owned restaurant, non-Chinese, that has switched to curb side only. I want to do my part to help businesses maintain.
Imprecise analogy Duncan
My ex mother in law aged 88 died from it in Boston
That doesnt preclude me from thinking its overblown, exploited, and has given governments the world over a chance to usurp power and to beat down Orange Man Bad
My mother died of pneumonia late stage cancer. The pneumonia was the direct cause of death.
Doesnt mean I dont see pneumonia for it is ....as in not a pandemic
Covid has such a life of its own from this insane media circus we live with that its hard to discern reality
If one lives in the northeast or Los Angeles or New Orleans a few weeks ago then you feel the repercussions more
Where I live in Nashville other than scared silly hipsters and their masks you barely notice
But New Orleans being the hotbed of homosexuality and street addicts and HIV infections it is had a bad go ....would a serious flu strain have done the same?
I dont know
Obesity and immunosuppresion seem to be the two biggest factors
I think everything you said is true.
As far as I can see, the virus is real, it is deadly, but not as deadly as originally sold. It’s also quite contagious. The media is corrupt as all Hell, and it is exploiting this to whatever possible advantage it can create, and the media does not care at all if you die of this virus or the shutdown, beyond the extent that they want you to die of either or both.
We also have power mad leftist officials trying to exploit all of this for their own advantage. What makes a bad virus worse? People. SMH.
We have to learn to live with this stupid virus as free people. 3 things need defeating pronto. The virus, fear of the virus, exploiters of the virus and of fear of the virus. The latter two items listed seem like the most likely items to be dealt with early.
I think that we need to demonstrate quickly that we’re not going to tolerate tyranny.
Good man Chris.
Said the jester who has been hysterically pushing highly inflated coronavirus death figure here for months, including the debunked 2.2 million will die from cironavirus in the US nonsense.
In a normal world, you should be ashamed to show your face in polite society or any society. Drawn and quartered comes to mind.
Let me get this straight...the fearful people are the people that aren’t scared one bit about this low virulence pathogen. Nice Orwellian newspeak you have going there!
They should have just quarantine ....Those at risk...
Yet at the store I see the obese scooter people with 7-10 people in tow, they bring 3 generations of people to go shopping with them.
