I love that this guy is coming into fashion during this weird time. He’s gonna make a lot of money off this, as he should, after going unknown for so long. His content is great.

Does it say to buy ammo at the same time?

Wheel guns

They're nothing more than a 19th century anachronism. Five or six shots and you're out of the fight of your life and you'll never have time to reload before the fight is over. There is no place for wheel guns in 21st century society except for in museums.

Here’s the five they need to know:

1. Treat every gun as if it were loaded.
2. Always point your gun in a safe direction.
3. Never point your gun at anything you don’t intend to shoot.
4. Keep your finger off the trigger until your ready to shoot.
5. Be sure of your target and what’s beyond.

One thing about revolvers. They go bang everytime you pull the trigger. Semi-autos are not so reliable. I shoot 3 gun competition and have had many semi-auto malfunctions. And, if you need more than 5 or 6 shots to neutralize a target, you need to re-examine your caliber or marksmanship.

I found PH’s channel while chasing rabbits down the youtube time sink hole. I’m watching one of his videos and hear his voice. FLAHBACK!

I am young Marine going through Security Forces training. We are doing a timed run on a mutli-gun course. I’m crushing it. I get to the final stage; the M-16, well ahead of everyone else. Cool as a cucumber I rip through my first mag, tearing a hole in the middle of the target. I make a mag change and it fails to fire. No biggie, I start immediate action and pull the trigger again and no bang. By this time I am becoming concerned; my lead is slipping. My actions become a little more frantic. I hear this voice in my ear say, “Try slapping the magazine”. Even through my ear-pro it was very deadpan, with just a hint of that tone you give someone when they are acting like a dumba$$. I came in 2nd by a fraction of a second in the drill. FADE TO PRESENT.

Sure enough, after watching more PH videos I come to find out he was an instructor a Marine Security Forces School for a time. My brush with greatness.

Revolvers do the job. If they don’t, it’s the user’s fault.

Great stuff. Harrell is the guy who wanted to show if guns would shoot from under a blanket, so he took a bed to the range. And blankets. And pajamas. "And if you're sleeping alone, and believe me, if you're sleeping with a gun you will be sleeping alone..."

I did have a non-gun-owning (read: librul) friend ask me what I thought he should get, and I told him, "Lessons." It wasn't the answer he wanted but it was the right one. In this particular case, though, it's too late for that because of lockdown - the range can't hold them. People who scoff at this sort of thing not being an "essential service" should probably reconsider.

***Five or six shots and you’re out of the fight***

Look at some of the old illustrations of the 1850s - 1870s. Every one carried two-three or four revolvers.

Probably true - although every gun owner has an opinion. And as we've all seen, some of them are so pig-ignorant they're comical! "If it ain't a [1911 / Glock / caliber-starting-with-4 / the-newest-6.5mm-cartridge / forged steel / striker fired / blah blah blah], it ain't worth sheeit!!!" And for God's sake, don't try to talk sense to 'em, or they'll start in on the stories about their thousand-yard-kill shots, or how they taught Wyatt Earp everything he knew, trying to "prove" their point...

;^)

Truth.
I have killed more critters with my Ruger Vanquero than with any of my auto loaders.
