That’s what I always ask people. Do you know anyone who has the virus? Do you know anyone who knows anyone who has the virus? The answer is always no and no. With a sort of nervous knowing look.
I do not personally know anyone who even has it, and i've gone to great lengths to make sure I don't make their acquaintance.
I am assured that there are quite a number of them in the local hospitals though, and I wish them a speedy recovery.

It is responsible for taking out my next door neighbor. She was in her 70s and very compromised...so that was not a surprise or shock.
It is also taking out many in my mother in law’s Nursing Home. So, I “know” them, but they are not close. I think we are up to 3 or 4.

One of my best friends was miserable with it, but is back at work now. I hope my wife’s best friend isn’t listed as dying from it as she died Sunday from surgery complications. No one closer than that.

He was fat, high blood pressure, diabetes, about 60.
Sad but not surprising.
Don’t know a single person who has it or had it. But I do know a lot of people who have been furloughed or had their hours drastically cut.
My mother-in-law, a resident at a nursing care facility in Kankakee, IL, was diagnosed with it yesterday. I am hoping and praying she survives.
