Do you personally know anyone who has died of COVID? Seeking real first hand info. Not my boss' cousin or wife's friend's sister anecdotal info.
The “flu” passed through our family over Christmas. Hit just about everyone and hard. All recovered and are in good health.
I know of no one who even has Wuhan flu. Some members of my church know people who are sick with the disease, but no one in our church family has it.
My sister-in-law in CT personally knew 2 who died from it.
It is sounding like my niece’s husband, in CO, and their 2 young boys had it, and have recovered, which is very lucky, since he is a type 1 diabetic (about 37 yrs old?).
Sorry, I know this isn’t exactly what you asked.
Where in CO?
[[Dont know anyone who died of suicide or gunshots either,]]
We had a couple people in area who killed themselves- knew 3 personally- two were nice folks- but just couldn’t cope i guess- the other was a druggie- his dad died and he also checked himself out-
Yes my friend Liberty. She was very old and very spirited. Lived through wars, droughts, depressions, and a dust bowl. Always came out on top. Lived through 100 pandemics, but got the COVID, got scared because a few thousand needlessly died and gave up what she stood for so we could stream Netflix and hoard toilet paper....all while staying away from each other. Her friend Freedom I hear isn’t doing that well either. RIP.
I dont even know anyone who has had it.
Mrs. Eagle had to cancel her annual birthday lunch with her daughters in February because she was bedridden with a horrendous cold.
She has fibromyalgia so we just attributed it to that.
John Prine died. Seems like I knew him.

It’s obvious that flu deaths fell this year due to the restrictions placed for the CV.
We could do that every year if we didn’t care about having an economy.
It does affect people different. DH and I are both asthmatics, mine borderline COPD which is why we have a nebulizer. Cough lasted 6 weeks, still didn’t need to be hospitalized but it was nasty.
No ventilator for her for now.. theyve outfitted her with a device similar to a CPAP, but with a little more velocity. Shes currently stable with some shortness of breath. No temp right now and is eating OK. Shes 90.
Yes. My father..age 92. most difficult thing was not to be able to be there with him, but nurses were wonderful. God Bless them.
That’s a great question. Thank-you.
Nope, nor do I know any of the 79,416 who died during the 2017-18 flu epidemic......
No. Don’t even know of anyone who has had it.
Nope, not even a friend of a friend.
