This entire event is a farce just like global warming and now that their predictions are coming up short they are looking for excuses to keep us locked down.
Fauci is a bureaucratic fraud and not even a real doctor. He has never had a medical practice and wouldn’t know a pandemic if it bit him in the ass.
We have been sold a bill of goods and fooled into this buying this charade.
The lockdown must end now and arrests need to be made immediately starting with Fauci, Birx, Soros, Gates and everybody in the media that pushed this BS upon us.
If we would have done social mitigation on January 15, it would have saved lives.
If we would have done social mitigation on January 30, it would have saved lives.
If we would have done social mitigation on Feb 15, it would have saved lives.
Would ANYONE have gone for that then? NO—including dems and media.
I wish Fauci would have just said that. It’s an obvious “gotcha” question to get Trump.
I think what happened was Tapper gave him some leading hypothetical questions, and Fauci (CDC’s own Joe Biden,) blindly blundered into them.
It was Pence, and they could go on with permission.
After watching referenced video, I respectfully disagreed with Jim Hoft that Dr. Fauci unloaded on PDJT concerning COVID-9.
For the record
FLASHBACK: Jan. 21: Fauci Says Coronavirus Not A Major Threat To U.S. ('minuscule' in February) (20 seconds)
Senator Cotton, arguably the Paul Revere of protecting the country from the spread of 2019-nCoV, has explained that top health officials (aka government bureaucrats) were initially blind guides (my words) at the start of COVID-19 problems, PDJT barring flights from China to US based mainly on his uncommon common sense.
"On January 31, the president announced a ban on entry to foreign travelers who had been in China in the previous two weeks, while allowing Americans and permanent residents to continue to travel back and forth between the two countries. The measure was not as stringent as Cottons call for a ban on all commercial flights, but Cotton points out that the president did not have many advisers encouraging him to shut down travel. Advisers who were supportive tended to be national-security aides, he adds, while most of his economic and public-health advisers were ambivalent at best about the travel ban [emphasis added]. John McCormack, The Senator Who Saw the Coronavirus Coming, National Review, March 31, 2020.
Send "Orange Man Bad" federal and state government Democrats and RINOs home in November!
Supporting PDJT with a new patriot Congress and state government leaders that will promise to fully support his already excellent work for MAGA and stopping COVID-19 will effectively give fast-working Trump a third term in office imo.
MAGA, also KAGA! (Keep America Great Always!)
The bum pulls in about $450,000 per year plus 20% benefits from us taxpayers. What a theft of money.
Anything that Jim Hoft writes needs to be verified with a fine tooth comb.
That’s a bloody good idea!!
The media keep trying to pit Trump against Fauci.
The headlines are misleading. What Fauci said was not as reported.
PLEASE HELP
Hes a midget, who has crossed the wrong POTUS.
I agree. He said it is obvious that lives could have been saved if we closed down earlier, but that is obvious. I did not get the impression that he told Trump we should close down earlier. This would contradict his public statements that this was not that big a deal.
“Working” in government corrupts...”working” in government for a long time corrupts absolutely.
What a disgusting Hitleresque little man this Fauci is.
The only way he saves his career at this point to to appear at the news conference tomorrow, and make the following statement:
--------------------------
“I would like to take the opportunity to clarify some remarks I made yesterday that were completely taken out of context. I was responding to what I understood to be a hypothetical situation that would have included information we did not have at the time, about starting separation policies earlier. The fact is, in February, we did not have the information we needed to make those decisions, As that information developed, we made the best decisions under the circumstance, and the President acted quickly and forcefully to our recommendations.
“I am disappointed that my words were twisted around to mean something that I had no intention to make, nor would have been correct under the circumstances, that there was an avoidable delay in putting mitigations in place. Any statement to that effect is just lain wrong.
“We were told to be careful in our press interviews, and in particular to avoid CNN. Perhaps in my naive and trusting way I found that restricted to be unwarranted. After this experience I see, in fact, the wisdom of that policy. There are members of the media, and CNN in particular, who are deceitful, dishonest and manipulative, and who have no interest in getting accurate useful information out to the public, which needs it especially at this time.
“It is unfortunate, but looking at the activity of the media the last few days, I will not be participating in direct interviews, and I have seen hoe dishonest media will manipulate and distort what I think the American public needs to hear. I apologize to the President for any embarrassment that may have been caused by the misrepresentation of my position, but more importantly, to the American people who must be able top rely on information they are getting from experts to guide their lives during this critical time.
“I urge the public to look at what these media are presenting to them, and based on my experience, particularly CNN. It would be best if we had an honest press, but at this time it appears we do not. Please take anything you see in the regular press sources with a grain of salt, and don't hesitate to get your information directly from the sources, rather than relying on these media institutions which we see can not be trusted at this time.”
Of course.... it was quite natural for anyone to pushback because it had never been done before. How do you actually shut down a nation? The closest was during 9/11 in recent years and even then it wasn't people locking down. However I think both Trump and the team worked this out quite well.....in reality New York City and New Jersey account for almost half the deaths in this nation. And we know both Cuomo and Dibasio were more than reluctant to act early on....then New Yorkers etc. left town taking it elsewhere..
And, just who was doing the pushback? At that time he was telling the American public they should be worried more about the flu than coronavirus.
.....”The media keep trying to pit Trump against Fauci”...
That was seen early on, and there’s a lot of Freepers likewise eating up that narrative to justify their opinion there should not have been a shut down.
Fake News!
Well the fact is this virus was unknown as was it’s behavior....perfectly acceptable that opinions would change or alter, and even Trump explained the need to understand things were not absolute and the people needed to be flexable.
However the US people are not flexable...nor do they leave room for error either... especially on political sites. Their ‘expectations’ far exceed reality.
