The New York Times implies that Trump has a financial stake in chloroquine

In the Times’ latest attempt to “talk down” chloroquine, the journalists' ill-will to President Trump is on steroids. The article, entitled “Trump’s Aggressive Advocacy of Malaria Drug for Treating Coronavirus Divides Medical Community,” hauls out all of the usual critiques, including Dr. Fauci’s urging caution, Dr. Vladimir Zelenko’s being “a hit on conservative media,” the fact that Zelenko was born in Ukraine, and the Zelenko-Giuliani connection (cue the ominous music).

Those criticisms, though, are getting stale, so this time around, the Times threw in something new: It hinted that Trump and his cronies are about to get rich off of hydroxychloroquine.

He’d be a caring guy. There needs to be more capital in production of this stuff.

They are hoping it’s Joe.

If increasingly senile Joe kicks the bucket before the convention they get to feel the Bern.

Unfortunately for the Times, the empirical evidence is piling up fast. Some of the evidence comes in the form of individual success stories. The latest success is Michigan State Rep. Karen Whitsett, a young mother, who credits hydroxychloroquine with reducing her symptoms within two hours. Not only does she praise the drug, she praises the president for making it available:

Anecdotal evidence! It's not scientific! All these people getting better within hours of talking chloroquine are going to wreck the narrative.

Because Trump’s doing a good job on this, I’m seeing articles and social media posts that basically equal: Say anything whatsoever against Trump even completely make stuff up.

Literally a NYT article says he has no soul and has never shown empathy.

Trump and his cronies are about to get rich off of hydroxy chloroquine? Ok, I’ll buy that! You guys are SPOT ON! So, I guess when you guys and your naive audience catches the virus, you won’t be begging for any when you’re sick, cuz, you know, you’ll stick it to Trump on your way out - and because of your moral virtuousness! I’m behind your inevitable strike, 100%!

I don’t know if it’s true, but I read someplace that the patent on chloroquine expired years ago, and that it only cost pennies to make each pill. Big pharma “donates” to just about every politician and I’m sure big pharma wants to come up with a new wonder drug on which they will make tens of billions world-wide.

How about Trump’s comment the equipment is going in the front door and out the back door comment. Press blew that one up as another Trump fable then right on cue, someone was found pilfering many masks. No more comments about that one so we move on to something else.

Trump needs to do something with these fifth column types that goes beyond just calling them out. He needs to execute one or two of them, right there on TV and then nuke their parent headquarters. I know this is a fantasy but just parrying with them is not getting anywhere as they just edit that episode and make him look bad in their media. Never take up an argument with someone who has the all the ink was what I learned early on.

Yesterday bring in a chicom “reporter” to cross examine the President was something that cannot stand without a vicious backslap. What is next, we get a new version of Tokyo Rose to ask him what he did not defend the equal of Pearl Harbor?

I think Trump should use the DPA to require the Hew York Times to convert their printing presses and their paper product to produce toilet paper. Not much of a stretch for them to retool
and produce this necessity since only one level on the food chain currently separates them from toilet paper

If this drug works and is pentiful this was mentioned like six weeks ago why haven’t we taken it and are all in lockdown? Does it work or not?

Why hasn’t President Trump invoked the Defense Production Act to force the New York Times and Washington Post to convert their facilities to produce toilet paper?

because they already do.

Meanwhile a crack team of their investigative journalists is hot on the story of Congress-Critters that dumped stock before the market tanked.

Yeah. Right. You bet.
