If the incompetence, or overt deceit, of any other country was involved in the genesis of this pandemic, it would be appropriate to incorporate that into the name of this virus. If it came from the US, the rest of the world would be calling it the American coronavirus. If it came from Israel, they would be calling it the Israeli coronavirus (and given the amount of antisemitism in Europe and the Middle East, probably the Jewish coronavirus).
It came from China, and appears to have been initially concealed by China. It is most certainly appropriate to call it the China virus.
She's been here since she's been 2 years old. She's an American. No one is blaming her for this. It's not like she's some culture warrior. Seems like just another one of the ubiquitous narcissists who populate the media.
