Thousands of Americans [NF: even if true, about as many as think the earth is flat] think President Donald Trump may try to cancel the 2020 election by citing the coronavirus pandemic. On the left and right, they envision him declaring a national emergency, using those newly invoked powers to suspend the November vote and extend his first term in the White House.
It’s not purely paranoia. The pandemic has already canceled campaign rallies, postponed the primary election in Louisiana, and raised ideas to nix the parties’ nominating conventions. Trump, for his part, has often lied about his last election to justify his political power, and most specifically, he retweeted a suggestion last year from Jerry Falwell Jr. that his first term should be extended by two years.

The elections should not be cancelled, but the Democrats, if they had any decency, respect for the nation’s health and honor for our Constitution, must stand down for the 2020 Election.
We have turned the corner on coronavirus. Watch how quickly it will become not a problem once Trump starts looking good over it. He will be accused of using a fake manufactured crisis over a bogus virus that is not even as bad as the flu to advance his political agenda. It is delicious.
