That is BS and horse caca. Things die things rot. And natural gas and oil is formed. I think if you are watching oilprice.com, that means you probably looked at it more than once or twice as I have. I visit it often...The articles and everything are always permabear and they are very much a left-wing organization. It seems counterintuitive, but that would be in the oil industry. But I almost think oilprice.com is funded by left-wingers who hate oil.
Yep more BS. They cling to the lie we are running out when the truth is we are not and it’s not even close and it never will be
AOC can ride out there in a driverless all electric vehicle to confirm that.
This is going to happen before the earth melts away from climate change. I guess our misery will come in stages............
It’s not JUST ME!!
I’ve noticed this site popping up here lately and it’s ALWAYS gloom and doom and slanted left.
I thought I was losing my mind.
Well..maybe but at least not over this :)
Not this crap again.
I have been hearing about oil hitting its peak since 1979. Seems as if we discover new sources and new ways to extract oil. Libs never seem to factor in innovation and economic incentives into their projection. This is why they thought we’d all starve to death by now, because they were factoring in food production levels from decades ago.
Good for me, I have a small % of Mineral Rights on 2 Sections that are considered mediocre and I could really use the income
(also have 20+ Cousins with the same Rights and Income needs)
Check out this article. Is states:
“The contrary view was put forth in the same journal in an article by M. A. Adelman and this author, noting past pessimism: For many years now, nearly every forecast has been: an early peak, then in 3-5 years decline in virtually every place but the Persian Gulf.
It is almost as if they cut and pasted this articles words and just reused it. Kind of reminds one of the global cooling, global warming, climate change “big lie” that leftists just keep on telling.

JoMa
North Dakotas Mineral Resources Director Lynn Helms is not logical and not reasonable.
Oil is a natural renewable energy source and geologists have found more oil fields now than five years ago. God the Father knows what we need. As a result, Helms needs to relax and get with His program. The myth of “peak oil” is defeated by facts.
Think again.
Wouldnt a better name for this rag be Oilpeak.com?
“AOC can ride out there in a driverless all electric vehicle to confirm that.”
She probably should wait till the summertime. Her all electric vehicle would not do too well in North Dakota this time of year; it’s -2 out there right now.
As I remember, the Persian Gulf includes Saudi Arabia, right ? That is the one place where the sheiks know their future in oil is nearly done, which is why they're shifting to tourism and whatever else.
The younger King --(MBL ?)--is the one that spends time in the US and is attempting to modernize SA in it's economy and customs.
Who cares if North Dakota oil becomes prohibitively expensive to extract?
There is Texas, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Ohio and New York (if they open up) all with an abundance.
Yeah. The revolution can wait for milder weather.
One time Johnny Carson said it's been extremely cold in New York lately.
Ed McMahon asked "How cold was it?"
It was so cold that when the crack meteorologist Frank Field went out onto the roof of the building to take a temperature reading it was so cold up there he almost froze his NBC peacock off."
Or not
They’ll find more gas and oil.
We have all heard this business about “peak oil” before. The under layers of the earth’s lithosphere CONTINUES to form oil by abiotic means, and the technology for finding even more petroleum is “dry” wells continues to improve.
But more importantly, we can MAKE a very good grade of kerogen (the vital portion of petroleum that can be refined into the lighter fractions of the mixture that comes up out of the well), right now, on what could become an industrial scale. Any mass of organic material, be it sawdust, discarded plastics, waste paper, turkey offal from slaughterhouses or old condoms, when put in a retort with suitable amounts of water (to form the superheated steam that does the transformation) and kept under several atmosphere’s worth of pressure, at about 700 degrees Centigrade (conditions vary with the sort of feedstock used) after a period ranging from minutes to several hours, undergoes a process known as “thermal depolymerization”, and the resulting kerogen may then be further refined into useful products. The world need never be without petroleum products, and in fact, the various applications will probably multiply vastly over coming years.
