It will ultimately stand as a testament to his greatness, not as a black mark on his record.

It’s all good.

Short answer is no.

The procedure is set in the Constitution. The courts have no say in the matter

I don’t think so. It’s not a legal thing. It’s a political process.

There is no constitutional provision for it or against it. But I think that the SC is out of the picture due to the separation of powers.

And whether he is acquitted or not, or the Senate dismisses the charges, the impeachment remains.

I don’t think so. House has sole power to impeach. (Although that doesn’t interpret as Adam Schiff has sole power to impeach.

I think one of the best things that can happen might be a second impeachment, then a third. I know it’s arguable, but it certainly makes the house look like winy sore losers.

Probably, but why should he?

Wear it with pride!

That will piss off the leftards even more

Seriously, they impeached him, pretty much at this time forward President Trump can do what he wants, seriously, what can they do? Impeach him again? If so, big deal. They took the teeth out of impeachment and what it was suppose to mean.

I want this president to stay focus on his agenda and get things done, the wall, judges, lower taxes, rescinding regulations, foreign policy, health care, etc. All these great things, not focus on some black mark that nobody cares about.

Correct. Impeachment is the sole prerogative of Congress and is not subject to judicial review.

I hate to say this but I think they will try to get a Milligan Trump will be the first President to get impeached twice. BTW doesn’t 1/3 of the House get voted on in Nov.

Anyone with a functioning brain cell realizes that the House never voted for an impeachment. This was a political fraud and soft coup from the get go. I hope true Justice finds all of these smarmy seditious traitors. After fair trials and convictions, I’d love to see swinging from trees.

That’s strange. I saw it on TV., Did they fake the vote too?

It’s a good sign when the best they are offering their base is asterisks!

Per Alan Dershowitz: Once acquitted he is no longer impeached. Nervous Nancy erroneous in that regard, “forever impeached”.

As a Grand Jury indicts, and acquittal is the outcome of the trial, the individual is no loner indicted.

Do remember reading AG comments during the past few days, from where they came, publisher-wise, I’ve no recollection. You might attempt to google it.

As BC is so proud of his impeachment, wearing it with no shame whatsoever, POTUS Trump should consider doing the same. IE- winning a trophy for his mantel.

The next Republican Congress can probably expunge the articles of impeachment.

Don’t forget draining the “Swamp,” starting with Hillary, Kerry, Comey, and the clowns who ran this impeachment fiasco.
