Maybe the worst map ever. Some with state names, some with city names, some with both, some with neither. Raising the minimum wage will leave that guy unemployed.
I like the way Colorado and Kansas got cheated with the bit “United States of America” smack dab in the middle, too.
I like your thought about the minimum wage. In addition, if the map maker got fired, the IQ of the available labor pool would drop a couple of points.
It appears the outage is limited to Internet (mostly). Try using another DNS server address like Cloudflare (1.1.1.1 Primary/1.0.0.1 Secondary) and Google (8.8.8.8 Primary and 8.8.4.4 Secondary) and see if that helps. If it does, than it’s a Comcast DNS server issue.
It affected my household, everyone went down except me, but I use a VPN for my work, so the DNS was covered. On my wife’s computer, I Was able to ping out, but domain names weren’t resolving, so I figured it was a DNS problem. About 15 minutes later it came back up. I should probably set my router to use a public DNS server.
Apparently you...
I used to have Xfinity Triple Play. My bill crept up several $$ per month. I warned them I’d leave. It continued. I left. Went with Verizon. Saving $70. per month, with Basic Pkg. Better selection than Xfinity, including OANN and others. Never go back.
Actually, I never understood why someone would post about a local service problem on a board that has views from around the world.
My mailman is late today....does that matter in Canada?
It wasnt local.
We cut the cord this month. Had triple play, went to double play, late last year, subscribing to VoiPly. Then, after testing YouTube TV, the boss said to cut the cable. Changed to just high speed internet from Xfinity and we are pleased.
Now, when will Starlink be available?
My Chromebook went AWOL at the West Coast time until I folded up and left the house. Before I left, I checked my smart phone and it was working with maximum bars.
About 30 minutes later, my wife got her chromebook back on line and mine.
The bigger they are the harder they fall on more people.
In my router I’ve got 1.1.1.1, 1.0.0.1, and 9.9.9.9 ... All three are faster and more secure than Google DNS, and they don’t log DNS requests, unlike Google.
