Irans clerical leadership, under Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali HoseiniKhamenei, is expected to make rapid, significant, and symbolic responses to the targeted killing in Baghdad on January 3, 2019, of Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps Quds Force commander Maj.-Gen. Qasem Soleimani.
It seems unlikely that the Iranian response would initially be to launch a military assault on Israel, which it has been planning, but, rather, something which could target the oil production and exports of the US key allies in the region: Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and Bahrain, in particular (but not exclusively). The event was not only decisive for the US-Iranian dynamic, but it will also have long-term structural effects on the supply of oil and gas.

Guess what. It so happens the US can sell you oil:)
Iran knows no one will shoot back , LOL
Could, might, maybe, possibly....
Oilprice.com is less reliable than The Gateway Pundit.
I guess oilprice.com hasn’t gotten the news that America is the world’s largest producer of oil. And that’s without even tapping into the huge reserves in Pennsylvania and off the California coast.
Gee, let’s hope so, eh, oilprice.com?
Remember when GW was President ,every time it rained the Oil price went up ,LOL
Kharg Island=Iran’s jugular vein. 90% of Iranian oil exported via this terminal.
Iran is waiting for after the elections to see who wins before they respond.
Oh wow, that would help our economy big time as we are the alternative oil source now.
Sucks to be them.
could.
I'm not into all thus bluster. The Dems are probably thrilled with their accomplishment. They've made it impossible for President Trump to have private dialogue and make promises for the US. Add to that, no country is going to give up weapons or nuclear programs at this juncture. Have they even considered the coalition that could evolve in support of Iran and Iraq? About how poorly so much of the perpetually offended segment of the US population would persevere with having to do without lifes essentials and conveniences?
There's not enough cultural memory of real hardship. Behavior modification, a component of education since 1975 (or so) has created a few generations who aren't held accountable for their actions and don't think or speak for themselves. A lot of our population never made the mental jump (at about age 10 or so) where they can separate fantasy from reality.
What's my point? I hope some leaders who practice objective sanity emerge. Unfortunately, the Deep State has succeeded in keeping President Trump isolated from the voices of sanity and reason.
Well hmmm... I happen to own several natural gas leases... for the past ten years, my royalty checks have been in the toilet — but if this happens, would this boost NG prices?
If so, I’m all for it.
Yep, Kerry told them to bide their time and they will rig the 20 election. Kerry is another one who should be under arrest right now.
Any excuse to raise gas prices, eh?
Middle East oil shock? I can’t think of a better way to bring China to heel, even better than the tariff we put on them. Our biggest enemy, China, imports close to 50% of their oil needs from the Middle East and are by far the largest importer of Middle Eastern oil. If they lose that source of supply, a large part of their economy shuts down. The US, on the other hand, as we near self sufficiency in the energy market, import little from there. China has not lost one life in that dysfunctional roach motel defending their source of supply. Let George do it seems to be working for them as a foreign policy approach when it comes to the Middle East
Probably a good approach. If Dems win the Dems will apologize, send them nuke building instructions along with trillions in cash.
We have 400 years of coal underground. See it too the chicoms.
“China, imports close to 50% of their oil needs from the Middle East and are by far the largest importer of Middle Eastern oil.”
Has Gog or Magog shifted to a newly realized easterly position?
