Just wondering if people in Iran saw any videos of the protesters in Hong Kong holding the American flag as a symbol of freedom ... Wouldn’t this make them really think about who would really have their back if they truly wanted freedom themselves?

yeah... that was my question, too.
Iran has no real way of competing with us. Their cround forces are half cold war era equipment, their navy is nearly non existant, their air force is made up of whatever antiquated planes are up for sale from other countries. They have no nukes, nor missiles that can reach the US. We have drones, a military budget that dwarfs theirs, the greatest air force in the world, and a president that has balks enough to turn Iran into a crater.
