Established in 2001 after the 9/11 attack on America, this thread is designed to identify threats to America, both internal and external, and evaluate the probability of those threats occurring and the extent of potential damage. CW2/Civil Unrest -
An individual(s) mailed the poison ricin to the president. It was intercepted in the White House post office last week and never reached the president. A US law enforcement official told CNN that investigators are looking into the possibility the ricin package sent to Trump came from Canada.

Nancy Pelosi has threatened to impeach the president if he goes forward with nominating a replacement for Ginsburg. She also claimed that she has many other ‘arrows’ to use to block any replacement. MY COMMENTS - She doesn’t have a leg to stand on. The House has no say in Senate procedures. She is still intransigent about a new economic stimulus package (and democrats are taking a beating in the polls as a result) and an impeachment circus would stop any aid. Finally, the last impeachment blew back into their faces.

A considerable number of vocal supporters of the left have called for extreme violence should Ginsburg be replaced before the election. Threats include physical violence towards Republican senators and burning down the capitol building.

After a pause of a couple weeks, rioting picked up in several locations across the country, each seemingly targeting ICE facilities. In Portland, rested police quickly put the hammer down on protestors. Attacking federal facilities will likely involve federal leo’s and in Portland, deputized state police - meaning federal charges and real bail.

China -
The potential for a famine has become an increasing issue for china. Heavy flooding this summer has destroyed a significant portion of the rice crop. Authorities are issuing food from the national strategic reserve as well as working hard to purchase and import enough to cover the gap. CCP leaders are encouraging digestive discipline through a clean plate program to minimize/eliminate food waste.

Taiwan -
The US has approved sales of advanced military equipment to the island nation. Past week China has essentially said that they don’t respect the mid point line in the Taiwanese straits and crossed over dozens of times with military aircraft.

Iran -
Failure of the UN to extend sanctions agreements, now the backlash sanctions begin which are more stringent than the agreements. Iran publicly states that it will turn to Russia and China for its needs once the UN sanctions end but appear to think this agreement with Russia/China can get around the blow back.

Iran has also resumed long range missile development in cooperation with N Korea.

Bahrain Interior Ministry says they’ve thwarted a terror plot by an organization with IRGC support. The goal: blow up public & security facilities & assassinate senior officials. Also an IED was found that was meant to explode when a foreign delegation visited Bahrain. This believed to be in retaliation for the peace accord with Israel.

Iraq -
Sporadic rocket fire into the Bagdad airport as well as the green zone continues, almost a daily occurrence, with little or no significant damage or casualties.

Turkey -
Turkey is growing more belligerent towards France and Greece over territorial disputes in the Mediterranean Sea. Turkey did withdraw an exploration vessel from Greek claimed waters to “deescalate “ tensions.

CW2/Civil Unrest -
A Canadian woman was arrested at the US/Canada border in relation to the attempted ricin attack on the president. The suspect allegedly sent other letters to federal prisons that were discovered in different facilities, an official told NBC News Saturday. It wasn’t immediately clear which prisons the letters were sent to or who the recipients were.

The left is stepping up its protests at homes of Republican Senators. Local Marxists have called for protests at Sen Graham’s home starting Monday, 21st. Sponsored by Shut Down DC, they further threaten to expand these protests to all their opponents, to make it a ‘living hell’ to oppose their wishes.

MY OBSERVATIONS - I fully anticipate that this will be the primary initial response to republican moves to replace Ginsburg. These protests can be manned by fewer people and give them the PR to appear to be operating on the moral high ground. There is a substantially increased danger of physical attacks and even assassination attempts on these senators given the rhetoric and past actions of the left, now fueled by the death of Ginsburg. This is my greatest concern - that they will fully act out their rhetoric when faced with the republicans moving forward inspire of protests. One means of slowing/stopping the process is to assassinate/seriously injure key republicans.
The suddenness of Ginsburg’s death may have also caused a pause in the left’s operations and force a redirect to these personal assaults. I also expect that directed attacks/protests will quickly follow onto republican supporters - both individually as well as businesses.

China -
China’s clone of the US space plane returned to Earth on Sept. 6th. It left something behind in orbit, an item of unknown character called “Object A” by the US military. This indicates that it has a cargo capacity similar to the US version that it likely copied.

Russia -
Russia, along with many other former soviet states, are conducting one of the largest military exercises in recent time. Reportedly over 80,000 troops are involved.

Israel -
Potentially related to the reports of Iran having enough material to construct a nuclear bomb, Israeli Minister of Defense is reportedly scheduled to fly to the US Monday night for a 24 hour visit to meet with US Secretary of Defense and other Pentagon officials.

Iran -
Unidentified US officials are stating that Iran may have enough fissile material for a nuclear bomb by the end of this year.

Iranian President Hassan Rouhani spoke on how the US will fail in imposing sanctions against Iran.

The head of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) has threatened retaliation against everyone who had a role in the January killing of a top IRGC general by a U.S. drone strike in Iraq. The threat included President Trump.

Economy -
Markets taking a beating on the combined worries about continued wuhan virus impacts/shutdowns and uncertainty with the replacement of Ginsburg. Metals prices took a similar nose dive, possibly due to investors selling off to cover stock losses. Demand for physical metal are still high.

CW2/Civil Unrest -
Louisville has declared a “State of Emergency” ahead of an anticipated grand jury decision one the Breonna Taylor death. Federal buildings taking measures to protect from anticipated violence.

BLM quietly removed its “What We Believe” section with contained its marxist principles as well as the desire to eliminate the nuclear family. Its statements have become increasingly relevant to the continuation of their riots, proving it had little to do with Floyd.

Though barely under this topic, a Canadian women currently under arrest for mailing ricin to the president also mailed material to several Texas police organizations. Heavy identifies her as Pascale Ferrier. When arrested at the border, she was found to be armed with a handgun (illegally). Reports this same women was arrested in Texas in March 2019 for carrying an unlicensed weapon, a fake driver’s license, and resisting arrest again, illegally carrying a weapon and over staying her visa 6 months. Canadian authorities announced that they have raided her home in search of more evidence.

The NY Times has an article that suggests that there are some divisions forming in the Portland BLM/Antifa elements over how violent and lethal they should go. There is a faction saying the threats have gotten out of hand. MY OBSERVATION. This is what I would expect given that the riots have caused the democrats to crash in polling. They are trying to put the genie back into the bottle. But at this stage I think they may not have the capability to do so.

Minneapolis has its own CHAZ/CHOP, with the same associated results - people getting seriously hurt and first responders being blocked from responding. It consists of a 4 block area around the make shift memorial to Floyd. So far it has been allowed to fester.

DOJ declares Seattle, Portland and New York to be lawless anarchist zones. This has set up the justification for cutting off Federal funds. Some on the right insist that this is the laying down of the foundation for arrest of civic leaders who’ve permitted/condoned/supported the ongoing riots under the 14th amendment.

Reports from those monitoring social sites is that in Seattle at least, requests for supplies and equipment for new rounds of riots/protests are being made. Some affiliated groups are supplying common items like shields, clothing etc for protection from police tactics. Other in Portland are calling for fund raising to pay legal fees and bail for the upcoming counter to the Proud Boys march on Sep 26th.

Portland, smaller roving bands of BLM/Antifa have been moving through the suburbs making noise, vandalizing things and now shooting paint balls at residences. Instead of cowing the residents into submission, the opposite is occurring and they are losing support. LEO resources are not able to address these suburban activities so residents are beginning their own push back.

China -
A New York City police officer and U.S. Army Reserve member was arrested on federal charges for acting as a special agent for the Chinese regime. Baimadajie Angwang, a 33-year-old naturalized U.S. citizen born in China’s Tibet region, fed intelligence about other ethnic Tibetans in New York to the Chinese consulate in the city, according to a criminal complaint. NOTE - DOJ continuing assault on Chinese espionage drives on, showing just how deep and broad infiltration of spies in this country has become.

China/India -
Various analysts note that China has invested substantial time, money and effort to establish forward operating bases across the Tibetan Plateau. These bases have enhanced China’s ability to mobilize across the Indo-Sino border areas.

Israel -
Bennie Gantz departed for an “urgent” 24-hour visit to the US, to attend “very important security meetings that will ensure Israel’s continued military edge & to persist in the joint struggle against Iran.” Rumors indicate it is either about the reported nuclear material production or imposition of stricter sanctions. Also on his list are military supplies and materials like the F-35.

Iran -
US Embassy in Bahrain has put out a security alert for US citizens in the area reminding them of basic safety precautions, this comes just a day after Bahrain thwarted a major IRGC backed terror attack in retaliation for the recognition of Israel.

Iraq -
Another night with a few rockets shot into the Green Zone. This is essentially a daily/nightly affair of on-going harassment .

Syria -
Conflict in/around Idlib continues as both sides violate the cease fire. Assad loyalists, backed by Russia, have been unable to advance as separatists, backed by Turkey hold their ground.

Both growth and death rates have continued to decline since July. Total deaths associated with the virus have exceeded 200,000. Remember, these numbers are blurred with other health factors inclusive of the virus and not the virus by itself.

CDC reports that Wuhan related deaths were 45.6% lower than the July peak.

Economy -
The house reached an agreement on a continuing resolution to keep the government running.

CW2/Civil Unrest -
Louisville Kentucky continues to hold its breath pending the grand jury announcement of the decision in the death of Breonna Taylor. Most of the down town is boarded up in anticipation of riots which will likely occur no matter what the verdict is. Multiple leftist groups are converging on the city and the resulting rioting could be far bigger than those earlier this year.

The Seattle city council voted on Tuesday to override the mayor’s veto of a bill to defund the Seattle Police Department, voting, again, to defund SPD.

Scattered about news sources, the continued threats by the BLM/Antifa protestors using weapons. There was another recent case of pointing weapons at vehicles blocked by protestors again.

More dissension arising from the NY Times report on Portland riots and the decision to go into the suburbs. Now BLM/Antifa speakers at protests are denouncing the article, even as others agree with it.

Strategic Deployments -
USS Nimitz is operating in the Persian gulf along with its Taskforce.

About 100 additional soldiers were added to the existing ground forces in Syria, bringing the total number to about 600. These increases were announced last week and included the deployment of Bradley fighting vehicles.

China -
At the UN yesterday, President Trump urged the world to hold China accountable for the Wuhan pandemic.

Lebanon -
Tuesday a Hezbollah munitions depot exploded in southern Lebanon. A ‘source’ said it was due to a “technical error”. This blast, following the massive one in Beirut in August has continued a period of unrest. The country struggles to form a new government, with one recent attempt to reconcile involved removing sectarian quotas for government positions. Those quotas were born out of the civil war in the 80’s. Hezbollah has demanded that they get to name the finance and some other ministers.

Saudi Arabia -
Some observers have growing concern with a partnership between SA and China over potential nuclear development. Apparently Chinese geologists have identified uranium deposits sufficient to mine and the country is assisting SA in building a processing facility. Given the changing dynamics of the region and the threat that its arch enemy, Iran, may obtain a nuclear weapon soon, SA is likely using this arrangement with China to backdoor weapons developments. For years now it has been assumed that SA would go nuclear if Iran attains that status, using it monetary power to purchase warheads if necessary - possibly from Pakistan.

Economy -
First-time claims for state unemployment benefits totaled 870,000 for the week ended Sept. 19. That’s more than a Dow Jones estimate of 850,000. Continuing claims — which include those who have received unemployment benefits for at least two straight weeks — declined slightly but were still higher than forecast. Market analysts are seeing a decrease in economic activity that correlates to the running out of Covid monies.

CW2/Civil Unrest -
Rioting broke out almost immediately after the grand jury verdicts were read. Rioters were documented running to a rental truck to obtain materials for rioting. Downtown businesses were immediately targeted. Many other reports of individuals carrying gasoline containers. The first night’s rioting was tempered quickly after two police officers were shot and the Louisville police issued an “live ammunition” authorization (more on that later). Larynzo Johnson, 26, was charged with two first-degree counts of assault and 14 counts of wanton endangerment in the shooting. Rioting has occurred in over a dozen metropolitan areas. However, the intensity of the rioting across the country seemed relatively subdued in comparison to the Floyd-based riots.

The Uhaul seen distributing shields, weapons & black bloc material was rented to Holly Zoller of the Louisville KY Bail Project which is a George Soros funded initiative. She is long-time Antifa, she was even at Charlottesville.

Yesterday’s riots in L.A. featured another instance where a car got caught in the riot, attacked and had to escape, running over several rioters. Of particular note was that the escape was deliberately blocked by two other vehicles.

National summary of protests in addition to Louisville (not inclusive) -
Washington DC; Detroit; St Louis; Ferguson; Dallas; Austin; Denver; Portland; Seattle; Sacramento; and Oakland.

MY OBSERVATION - Here are four instances of BLM/Antifa organization that the gaslighting nitwit at the FBI is aware of, but doesn’t want to bring forward.
1. They have a significant field intel network. In addition to bike cycle mounted scouts and observers monitoring the police, they have signals/media intelligence that can be quickly transmitted to field operations. It was noted by many observers that following the live ammo authorization (heard over police scanners) the tempo or rioting slowed dramatically and many departed the area.
2. They have a logistical support based on preplanning. This was made evident from earlier rioting encountering suspiciously placed pallets of bricks. Now, it is rental trucks carrying riot gear for the BLM/Antifa rioters. This just doesn’t happen spontaneously
3. What some could call ‘overwatch’, the use of rioter vehicles to stop any innocent civilian that breaks through their street riots. Use of chase cars has been observed in the past, but this is clear cut. Two vehicles were positioned to block the escaping vehicle, holding it in place while the mob could catch up and resume assault with skateboards and clubs. The driver was able to escape. This also means there are communications between the foot mob and the intercept vehicles.
4. In Washington DC, rioters ‘tagged’ friendly reporters with chemlights after reviewing their social media. Unfavorable reporters were assaulted and harassed. This is evidence of a planned control of narrative - not spontaneous - as well as an attempt to prevent doxxing of their own.

Gaining public support for their insurrection is key for these BLM/Antifa marxists - and they are losing that initial support. The poll from The Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research finds that 44% of Americans disapprove of protests in response to police violence against Black Americans, while 39% approve. In June, 54% approved. The new survey was conducted Sept. 11-14, before Wednesday’s announcement that a lone Louisville police officer would be charged in the Taylor case, but not for her actual death. The near continuous, wanton destruction and violence - spilling into neighboring suburban areas - is not winning hearts and minds.

Election 2020 -
Absentee ballots from military in Pennsylvania were found discarded on the side of a road - all voting for Trump. This is just the tip of the iceberg justifying the concern that similar will occur across the nation in addition to fake ballots being submitted by mail.

China -
In response to the US ambassador’s message to the UN, China’s ambassador delivered a seven-minute lecture, declaring the U.S. to be isolated globally and accusing it of “spreading political virus and disinformation, and creating confrontation and division.”

China/India -
Times of India reports India and China have agreed not to further escalate the border situation through a series of measures, which includes not sending more troops to forward areas. The current confrontation has been lasting for nearly 5 months now. However, at this stage China was the actual winner because now a thousand square kilometers of additional Indian territory along Panglong Lake is under Chinese control. This currently gives China the advantage. As long as China maintains a stronger military than India and can keep more troops near the disputed border areas, some analysts believer India will not feel confident to defend forcefully, risking a large-scale battle on the border.

India has communicated to China that it has given its troops the OK to open fire if Chinese soldiers make any provocative moves towards Indian positions. India sees Chinese tactics of a mass attack - numerically overwhelming the Indians - as a concern.

N Korea -
S Korea on heightened alert after NK military shot, killed and burned a SK civiian who floated on a raft of some kind too close to NK. NK spokesman said it was an ‘infection control measure’.. SK also said NK’s Leader Kim apologized for the event.

Iran -
A dairy processing facility in Tehran caught fire on Tuesday. Not certain if related to the many other fires/explosions across the country the past several months. Iran has also been publishing numerous propaganda videos of late, showing off some of their military hardware.

Belarus -
US State Dept says they no longer recognize Alexsandr Lukashenko as the legitimate President of Belarus, calls elections fraudulent.

Talk is that the ‘second wave’ has hit europe. France and the UK recorded their highest daily COVID-19 cases since the global outbreak began, and the EU warned that some of its countries now have worse outbreaks than they had in March. Like what has happened here in the US, the main difference from first wave in spring is that while infections have increased, the number of deaths has not risen so sharply. UK supermarkets Tesco and Morrisons are rationing pasta, soup, toilet paper and hand sanitizer as fears of panic buying return.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has moved the entire state into phase three of the COVID-19 recovery plan. All restrictions against restaurants and businesses are removed by executive order and all local mask ordinances are nullified by the same order.

Economy -
Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development published its economic outlook that forecasts that the global economy will contract by 4.5% this year. 2021 growth is estimated to be about 5% but that is uncertain due to continued impact from the wuhan virus.

Zillow group forecasts home prices to increase 1.2% through the end of the year and as much as 4.8% into 2021. Sales should be at or above prepandemic levels, though gradually declining.

CW2/Civil Unrest -
Rioting continued in Louisville and other major cities across the country. Levels of violence and destruction were relatively moderate.
MY OBSERVATION - I wonder if the, again, relatively scaled back riots/protests are due to:
1. Continued crashing public support and
2. Keep their ammo dry, so to speak, for outbursts on RBG’ s replacement or more significantly, a Trump presidential victory and the manufactured chaos that will follow.

ISIS/Domestic Terror -
Kristopher Sean Matthews, of Elgin, South Carolina, is accused of conspiring with other ISIS supporters over a period of months, including a Texas man named Jaylyn Christopher Molina, according to a 14-page criminal complaint filed in US District Court for the Western District of Texas in San Antonio. Their goal was a massive “netflix” level terror attack.

N Korea -
S. Korea demands N. Korea carry out additional probe into killing of Seoul official, requests joint investigation if necessary. This announcement follows a very rare apology from North Korea.

Israel -
Israel and Lebanon have begun holding discussions on maritime border issues. Discussions will focus on an area in the Mediterranean that has potential for oil and gas discovery and development.

Iran -
More rhetoric of late threatening the US and US interests/assets in the region and around the world.

Lebanon -
See Israel above. Country’s economy is in shambles and still is unable to pull a government together due in large part to Hezbollah demands.

Iraq -
Iran-backed Iraqi militia groups, Nujaba and Hezbollah, reaffirm continuation of military attacks on diplomatic missions and US-led coalition in Iraq, defying the orders of Hashd al-Shaabi and Iraqi government directions. The influence/force of these Iranian supported militias has driven support away from Iranian peoples who are increasingly seeing them as invaders and oppressors

Economy -
Gold and silver fell to a two-month lows as the dollar strengthened and hopes for further U.S. fiscal stimulus faded. However, prices for physical metal continue to be well above the paper trading prices.

CW2/Civil Unrest -
Breonna Taylor riots continued across the nation with varying degrees of destruction.

Following the Proud Boys Portland event, marxist rioters continued into the night. The Proud boy event only drew a few hundred, not the thousands expected. Portland PD intercepted a vehicle loaded with firearms, paint ball guns, bats and shield.
MY OBSERVATIONS - Police are catching on to the logistical support being provided to rioters and I predict that increasing interdiction of these supply vehicles may put rioters in a pinch lacking shield and weapons they prefer to use.

Meanwhile in Seattle, antifa attempted to try to establish a new CHOP in the capitol hill area, but their efforts were quickly stopped by police.

An antifa/blm supporter drove her car through a crowd of pro-Trump supporters in Yorba Linda yesterday. This occurred when the two sided met in a parking lot (NOTE: MUCH DISCUSSION ON FR WHERE PEOPLE WERE THINKING THIS HAPPENED IN THE STREET - WRONG, IT OCCURRED IN A PARKING LOT). Video footage shows the woman, 40 yr old Tatiana Turner, getting into her vehicle after arguing with Trump supporters and deliberately targeted them with her vehicle. She was about to escape the crowd in the parking lot, temporarily evaded a police stop before being arrested for assault with a deadly weapon and attempted murder. Two individuals were hospitalized in serious condition, but expected to recover.

Election 2020 -
Will Biden show up for the debate? Normally it is the incumbent who wants to duck out of debates, not the challenger. Time to put up or shut up is upon the democrats.

Iran -

In those meetings, Iran tried to strengthen ties to Iraq and sway it to force US military out of the country.

US talks with UAE and Bahrain following the peace accord with Israel is disturbing to Iran. These two nations are anti-Iran and the US offering advanced weapons like the F-35 does not bode well for them.

Economy -
Covid shut downs continue to decimate the restaurant industry. Shortage/supply for common foods in supermarkets still stressed and will continue to be so for the foreseeable future (open your eyes and look how empty shelves continue to be at your stores).

Poll by NPR suggests that nearly 2/3rds of Americans are in financial trouble due to the wuhan virus and associated shutdowns.

CW2/Civil Unrest -
The Minneapolis City Council vow to defund the city’s police department has exploded in their faces and now they seem to be requesting a mulligan.

Rioting and violence continued in many cities across the country. MSM has shut down most reporting given that democrat support has crashed because of them.

MY OBSERVATIONS - I suspect that the intensity of these riots has scaled back, seeing that the Breanna riots didn’t gain the national attention they were hoping for. I strongly suspect that the amorphous national leadership of BLM/Antifa et al are pulling back, reevaluating local and national responses to rioting (such as interdicting supply vans, identifying and arresting rioters/leaders under federal laws, continued public support for riots etc).

Election 2020 -
As Tuesday’s debate approaches, questions still fly if Biden will show up and how well he will be.

President Trump took to Twitter just after midnight on Monday and demanded that the Justice Department investigate Democratic House Rep. Strategic Deployments -
Last week NATO’s summer Exercise Astral Knight 2020, kicked off with B-52, at least 5 US spy planes, and numerous other Nato and Ukrainian jets flying over the Black Sea. The B-52 reportedly made a mock attack run on Odessa, Russia before heading to Romania. The exercise permitted observation of Russian air defense responses and networks.

Taiwan -
White House National Security Adviser Robert C. O’Brien expressed concern that China will soon target Taiwan for take over now that Hong Kong independence has been eliminated.

N Korea -
Satellite images indicate that Kim is drilling for a military parade, expected to coincide with its massive celebration for the 75th anniversary of its ruling Workers’ Party on Oct. 10. Additional speculation surrounds a potential launch of a sub based missile, possibly from its newest sub designed for such purpose.

Israel -
Israel is largely shut down due to wuhan virus and high holy days.

Iran -
An article by the Gatestone Institute notes that Hezbollah has been quietly establishing logistical bases/location throughout Europe and increasingly active against opponents. The recent ammonium nitrate explosion in Lebanon, believed by many intelligence sources to have belonged to Hezbollah, resulted in discovery of other significant caches of ammonium nitrate being discovered in France, Greece and Italy. Weapon caches were found in those three countries as well, plus Belgium, Spain and Switzerland. It is thought that this growing presence and effort will result in terrorism to pressure Europe and its adversaries.

Iraq -
Iraqi special forces are said to have been deployed in The Green Zone, and all non essential forces have left the area. US Embassy staff in Baghdad are reportedly preparing/leaving the Embassy and moving to the consultant in Erbil. The official statement is reportedly due to be issued tomorrow (according to the rumours) and that Pompeo is giving Kadhimi, an ultimatum to crack down on Iranian backed militias.

Turkey -

Libya -
Apparently Turkey and its Syrian mercenaries havent endered themselves to thy Libyan people, and most - even those of they are suppose to be supporting - the GNA - want them out. The GNA consists of an agglomeration of various tribes and clans that probably see Turkey et al as a threat to their power and authority. Turkey also supports an islamic government, which most Libyans oppose as well. Turkey’s incursion there is part of its wider goal to become the new islamic caliphate and secure oil and gas producing regions of the Mediterranean sea.

Belarus -
Continued protests, but the government crackdown seems to be holding.

Armenian / Azerbaijani -
Overnight, both sides pounded each other with artillery and rocket fire.

Both countries are ramping up for full scale war over Nagorno Karabakh. The region is internationally recognized as part of Azerbaijan but controlled by ethnic Armenians. Armenia’s defense ministry said an attack on civilian settlements in Nagorno-Karabakh, including the regional capital Stepanakert, began at 08:10 local time (04:10 GMT) on Sunday.

Russia is supplying Armenia with military supplies and has requested use of Iranian airbases near the region.

Azerbaijan is being supported by Turkey. Videos also show tens of pick up trucks with what are said to be Syrian mercenaries from the Turkish backed Hamza division headed towards the battle zone. Turkish drones noted flying over the region overnight.

Both sides appear to have had substantial losses of armor and air defense equipment. Martial law declared by both countries in the disputed areas. Armenia has called up all reservists 55 yrs old and younger.

Iran’s Foreign Minister, Javad Zarif, stated two hours ago that Iran is “closely monitoring the alarming violence” in Nagorno-Karabakh and calls for an immediately end to hostilities. He states that the country is ready to provide “good offices” to enable talks.

MY OBSERVATIONS - This places Turkey and Russia on opposite sides in a third conflict. The other two are Syria and Libya. So far, other than Russian aircraft, no ground forces are involved. This may turn into another proxy war between the two. Given the proximity of Iran in the mix, some are expressing concerns that the intertwining of Iran, Syria, Turkey and Russia may result in a larger regional conflict that may grow apart from what is now appearing to be proxy wars.

MSM continues to warn about infections in children and teens, especially with school starting. What they don’t say is that age group is one of the safest with a greater chance of being hit by lightning than being killed by the disease. A survey was compiled by the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Children’s Hospital Association said “[s]tate-level reports are the best publicly available data on child COVID-19 cases in the United States.”
“At this time, it appears that severe illness due to COVID-19 is rare among children,” the survey’s authors conclude.
Forty-two states and New York City reported deaths by age. Of those, 17 states reported no child deaths from COVID-19, and the highest reported percentage of child deaths among total deaths was 0.26%, in Tennessee. Among all child cases of COVID-19 in this subset of states and New York City, the death rate was 0.16%.”

Food/supply stockpiling is taking place by many agencies and companies. Food companies have increased production of some high demand food items and major grocery chains are stockpiling ahead of potential panic buying if a second lockdown hits later this year. Washington State has been stockpiling food and supplies for a pandemic created supply shortages.

Israel -
(JPost) Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned that Israel has not ruled out a preemptive strike against Iran, during a memorial service on Tuesday for those who fell in the 1973 Yom Kippur War.

“A preemptive strike is a difficult thing to do. I know that if Iran wants to base itself in the North, we are ready to fight them. This is a direct lesson of the Yom Kippur War,” said Netanyahu. “We will do everything in order to protect the State of Israel; we are not ruling out a preliminary strike.”

Civil unrest against the Iranian theocratic government continues. In apparent retaliation for the execution of the reportedly innocent Iranian champion wrestler Navid Afkari, assailants on Sunday fire bombed the entrance of the revolutionary court in the city of Shiraz that sentenced him to death.

Saudi Arabia -
Saudi Arabia says it busted terrorist cell trained by IRGC. The spokesman for the presidency of state security said in a statement on state media that three of those arrested had been trained in Iran while the rest were “linked to the cell in various roles.” (JPost)

Diplomatic sparing continues. The Chinese Foreign Ministry issued a statement regarding Beijing’s position on the LAC, as the de facto border between the two nations. In the statement, China had quoted the 1959 understanding, which has been consistently rejected by New Delhi.

Israel -
Israeli medical officials are saying that the current covid lockdown will likely extend beyond the current 3 week period. Citizens are pushing back against the harsh demands and regulations.

Tuesday while addressing the US, Netanyahu announced the location of a Hezbollah secret arms depot located near the Beirut International Airport. He linked its presence to the potential of another massive explosion like the one at Beirut’s main sea port. He encouraged the Lebanese people to protest and demand its removal.

Economy -
American and United Airlines beginning to furlough 30,000 workers. However, other sectors of the job market improved with 749,000 jobs added in September, topping expectations.

U.S. gross domestic product, the economy’s total output of goods and services, fell at a rate of 31.4% in the April-June quarter, only slightly changed from the 31.7% drop estimated one month ago. Economists expect 3d quarter GDP to sharply rebound.

Oil prices have dropped from $50 range to $40 per barrel range. Price concerns global economic recovery and that there is still a general glut of oil stored on the market when the prices crashed earlier this summer.

Deonte Lee Murray, 36, was charged with two counts each of attempted murder of a peace officer and possession of a firearm by a felon. Murray allegedly shot two deputies in the Compton attack on September 12.

Portland’s mayor has demanded the US Attorney for Oregon remove the federal deputized status of some state and Portland police officers. The US Attorney’s office has said no. This is significant because it allows federal charges to be brought on rioters, by passing the local revolving door non prosecution of same crimes. In specific, assaults on officers such as lasers, rock, bottles, etc can reap federal charges and will likely stick, sending them to federal prisons. It is no surprise that the leftist mayor wants that big stick to remain active as he has done what he can to condone the 100+ days of rioting.

Venezuela -
Hundreds of protests have erupted across Venezuela in the past few days as anger mounts over frequent power cuts and shortages of fuel and drinking water, Venezuelan Observatory of Social Conflict monitoring social conflict says. In large part these shortages are due to corona virus, government repression and US sanctions.

Iraq -
Iraq’s foreign minister, Fuad Hussein, has said his country hopes the United States will reconsider its decision to close its diplomatic mission in Baghdad, as a group of ambassadors expressed their willingness to help Iraq tackle security challenges. Hussein called the threat to close the US embassy “dangerous” because “there is a possibility that the American withdrawal from Baghdad will lead to other [embassy] withdrawals”.

Syria -
Fighting in Idlib province continues but at relatively low levels. RUMINT that Syria leader Assad is investigating back channel methods to open negotiations with Israel on a potential peace agreement.

Armenian / Azerbaijani -
Fighting continues, but the situation is starting to clarify out of the fog of propaganda. Azeri forces have pushed into the disputed territory across the length of the disputed border. This push hasn’t been far, approximately 5 miles average. It seems that this is developing into a war of attrition, one that Azerbaijan is likely to win since it has numerical superiority over the Armenian forces. This is barring any active intervention by Russia on the Armenian side. Unlike previous flare ups, both sides seem to be digging in for a longer conflict. One analyst notes that the longer that fighting goes on, and/or if one side is seen to be losing in a more protracted struggle, the more likely it is that Russia and Turkey will face difficult choices over whether to become more involved.

Black Swans -
An exceptionally large earthquake swarm is active on the southern edge of the Salton Sea. Over 240 quakes, largest being a 4.9. These quakes are not on the San Andreas but in the Brawley Seismic Zone, a network of small faults that connect between the San Andreas and the Imperial faults. They represent a spreading center, similar in many ways to the mid Atlantic Ridge. Concern is that these quakes will transfer enough stress to the San Andreas to trigger a major event long anticipated and worried about by seismologists. Such a quake would promulgate from the Salton Sea northward as far as Tejon pass or even into the southern central valley. This would place the magnitude in the low 8 range - devastating the region. Aqueducts, power, natural gas, petroleum pipelines and roads would all be devastated . On top of all the other chaos in the country and Kalifornia in particular, the results would border on apocalyptic and even potentially throw an additional curve ball into the contentious election.

The President and First Lady announced early Friday that they have tested positive for the wuhan virus and are implementing quarantine in the WH. Depending on the specific test used, probably follow on tests to further confirm. This follows the announcement Thursday of WH aid Hope Hicks being tested positive for the disease as well. CNN crowing that the president is in the highest risk category - age and obesity. Well that only counts really if you look at the numbers if the obesity is morbid - which isn’t the case here.

Central American ‘caravans’ -
Tighter border controls, hammering central american countries to uphold treaties and international laws and the wuhan virus had pretty much shut this category down. Word out today is that a new caravan has departed Honduras enroute to the US. Guatemala admits to being caught off guard on the border crossing and is vowing to detain and return participants.

The former CEO of Twitter stated that those who reject woke politics “are going to be the first people lined up against the wall and shot in the revolution” and he’d “happily provide video commentary.”

Proud Boy leadership has been coming forward to demonstrate racial inclusion in their ‘organization’. Black and other races leaders have stepped forward to denounce racism and has even joined locally with BLM to denounce racism.

Politico reports that over the past few months in the number of Americans—both Democrats and Republicans—who said they think violence would be justified if their side loses the upcoming presidential election and significantly increased.

The President positive test throws another twist into the campaign as it enters the final month. This may give Biden the “out” he needs to avoid the remaining two debates. This will also slow the tempo of the Presidents rally, though I suspect he will think outside the box to maintain the tempo some how.

Election officials in Philadelphia confirmed that voting machine software and technology was stolen sometime last week. This consisted of a laptop owned by Election Systems & Software, the Omaha, Neb.-based company that supplies the machines and thumb drives that set up the individual machines.

Strategic Deployments -
Two E-6B Mercury “Doomsday” planes took off last night - one over either coast - shortly before the President’s announcement of testing positive for the wuhan virus. Some observers think that Stratcomn wanted them to be seen and noted airborne as a deterrent. Military sources say the deployment timing was mere coincidence.

China -
China revealed that its J20 stealth fighter had officially entered mass production. This was not the original J20 prematurely declared ready in 2017 but a much improved J20B. The jet is still plagued by production/materials problems and is only marginally stealthy - from a frontal aspect. Any other aspect reportedly lights up a radar screen quite nicely.

Iran -
After being hammered twice this year, desert locusts are expected to arrive in Iran once again, this time in large bands from Oct. 6, according to the spokesperson of Plant Protection Organization, affiliated with the Agriculture Ministry. These locusts are also hitting other areas in the region as well. This years infestations, combined with sanctions and wuhan virus has really hit the economy and locals hard.

Iraq -
Warning that the US will be leaving the embassy in the Green Zone unless Iraq deals with terrorist/militias has Iraqi leadership concerned. They believe that the withdrawal may signal that the US is going to go after theses Iranian backed militias once embassy elements are out of the way. The Green Zone and US/Coalition facilities at the Bagdad Airport have come under almost nightly scattered rocket attacks where these Iranian-backed militias will set up a small rockets, start the launching and leave the launchers behind.

Syria -
Yesterday I noted that there were some that suggested Syria was exploring back doors to gain a peace deal with Israel. Today, the Syrian Foreign ministry loudly announced Syria ”was and will remain against any agreements or treaties with the Israeli enemy based on its firm conviction that such agreements harm Arab causes in general, foremost among which is the Palestinian cause, which has been proven by previous experiences, that normalization and signing treaties and agreements with this enemy only increased its arrogance and obstinacy.”

Turkey -
EU has warned Turkey that it may impose sanctions if it doesn’t stop “provocations and pressures” against Greece and other actions in the eastern Mediterranean.

Belarus -
EU preparing to sanction the country over the recent election that they say was neither free nor fair.

Armenian / Azerbaijani -
Battles continue with it appearing that Azerbaijan holding the upper hand on the ground while Armenia able to control the skies with their S-300 systems. RUMORS yesterday that Azeri forces launched ballistic missiles at the Armenian capitol. Armenian sources say their S-300 systems shot down those missiles as well as drones in the capitol airspace.
Greek hackers allegedly got into Azerbaijani govt websites in support of the Armenians. Remember, Turkey is supporting Azerbaijan in this mess.

The President is reported to be doing well at Walter Reed Medical center, having transferred over there yesterday. They continue to say his symptoms are ‘mild’. He is receiving Regeneron’s polyclonal antibody cocktail. The experimental nature of this treatment is the driving reason for his transfer to WRMC. The First Lady is also reported to be doing well in quarantine at the WH.

We’ve known this battle to be the next for months now. A paper published in the New England Journal of Medicine has called for mandating a coronavirus vaccine, and outlined strategies for how Americans could be FORCED to take it. The paper states vaccinations should be voluntary at first with later rounds mandated and “noncompliance should incur a penalty” and notes that it should be a “relatively substantial” one.

Economy -
Job growth continues but at a slower than anticipated rate and unemployment rate dropped to 7.9%.
NYC facing a surge in bankruptcy of about 40%. Its restaurant industry has been so hard hit it may take years to recover.
Disney is laying off about 28,000 workers.
US auto sales dropped 9.7% but those buying were interested in more expensive models.

CW2/Civil Unrest -
Numerous BLM/Antifa “protests” are scheduled today across the nation.

The Washington Examiner is reporting a survey conducted by Engagious, Sports and Leisure Research Group and ROKK Solutions (I’ve never heard of these groups nor can vouch for their accuracy), the results of which claim that 61% of Americans say the US is on the verge of a civil war and 52% are already preparing for it. “We have been conducting surveys of consumers and employees since the beginning of April in order to help industries make strategic decisions in the month ahead. The current data shows an alarming trend that that extreme political polarization of our country has a majority of Americans concerned that our country could be a powder keg ready to explode into a Civil War,” said Ron Bonjean, a partner at ROKK Solutions.

My gut feeling is that though the numbers may be off, I think that there is a substantial amount of the population making some kind of preparations. Evidence outside these unknown pollsters include the skyrocketing sales of weapons and ammunition. More evidence comes from the left with almost daily threats/promises of civil war like actions against Trump supporters regardless of the election results. Such threats by the left used to be keep under wraps and considered to be ‘conspiracy ‘ talk. Stores and states are stockpiling contingency supplies to counter another grocery rush as happened this spring.

Rallies for President Trump broke out in numerous places yesterday. In DC a small group of Antifa attempted to interrupt, but were quickly put down by police.

Turkey has started to reinforce units in Syria’s Idlib provence with additional armor vehicles. There are concern that this will upset the current status quo and initiate increased fighting.

Turkey -
Turkey is involved in three major regional conflicts - Syria, Libya and now Armenia/Azerbaijan. They have been using recruits from Syria to man their other two efforts. They are pushing the red line against Greece/EU. At some point Turkey will be overreaching in its efforts to consolidate power as the new Caliphate, and Russia gets fed up enough to take them down a notch or two. Only thing protecting Turkey from that at the moment is their NATO membership.

Armenian / Azerbaijani -
Intense fighting reported with most focused on the districts of Fizuli and Jabrayil (both along the southern end of the disputed border). In the north, Azeri forces have captured Mathagis city and military base. Mathagis is about 4 miles in from the contested border.
Azerbaijan’s second-largest city, Ganja, has been shelled by Armenian forces in return. Damage and casualties disputed.
Artillery duels across the entire front. Azeri forces gaining ground bit by bit but seem to be paying a high price to do so.

NYC is preparing lock down orders for 9 neighborhoods in Brooklyn and Queens to start Wednesday. All of the neighborhoods have had seven straight days of a positive test rate of 3 percent or higher. 11 other neighborhoods are on a watch list.

World Health Organization said Monday its “best estimates” indicate that roughly 1 in 10 people worldwide may have been infected by the coronavirus — more than 20 times the number of confirmed cases. The article doesn’t identify a corresponding order of magnitude death rate. This would infer a substantially lower death rate.

Economy -
Locust swarms of “biblical proportions” are hitting South America. They were hit earlier this year and as with swarms, later groups are larger. This round threatens winter crop supplies to the US and some are concerned that the swarms could move northward to the US. Meanwhile, the UN continues to warn of a global food crisis - due to locust, flooding and corona virus lock downs. In the US, increasing concerns about food supplies as canned and other goods seem to be present in very limited quantities on grocery shelves. Canning supplies (jars and especially lids) for DIY are also about as hard to find as ammo. If things go sideways in a serious manner, food shortages will become critical - stock up now.

Saudi Arabia expects oil prices to remain stable in the $50 range. That depends on global stability and restoration of the economy - both of which are highly questionable.

Central American ‘caravans’ -
Guatemala and Mexico have effectively shut down the caravan, with participants being sent back home on busses. Neither country wants a mob passing thru during the current corona virus crisis. Quick response will also damper any future attempts.

CW2/Civil Unrest -
Though I noted yesterday Saturday seemed quiet, now some details are coming to the front at least from Seattle where violence continued into the morning hours and police arrested many rioters.

Beverly Hills Trump rally had BLM/Antifa show up. Police were able to keep the groups separate. Pro Trump rallies continued across the country with supporters showing up in large numbers and with the few exceptions noted above, free from BLM/Antifa interference.

Ammunition makers have a huge backlog (right, tell us something we don’t know). Industry sources indicate that things won’t get back to any kind of normal until 2021. However, if things go sideways throw that estimate out the window.

A member of the “Not F****** Around Coalition” was arrested for a negligent firearms discharge during the black nationalist group’s latest armed march in Lafayette, Louisiana. There were no injuries reported, though video showed two people on the ground.

(Nowtheendbegins) Portland reportedly has been used by BLM/Antifa as a training ground for other rioters across the nation. Now granted the source is a little skewed on some matters, this is definitely a find that is supported by other analysis. Safe ground - no prosecutions of rioters- and a free for all protected zone for BLM/Antifa is definitely a training ground. Similar for Seattle. If one followed the riots, one can see tactics and weapons first tested there, then spread to other cities.

China -
Rumbling that China would be morally justified in killing millions of Americans if they interfere with retaking Taiwan.

China/India -
India successfully tested a hypersonic missile system. Missile is reportedly nuclear capable and should eventually give India the edge in dealing with Pakistan and China.

Taiwan -
A Canadian warship has sailed through the sensitive Taiwan Strait, the island’s defence ministry said on Saturday, a voyage that comes at a time of heightened military tension between China and Taiwan and which could anger Beijing.

Israel -
Netanyahu seems to be ready to approve of new West Bank settlements. PA and Turkey is disrupting the pending approvals.

Iran -
Reports indicate that Iran is deploying a number of tanks on the borders with Armenia and Azerbaijan.

Turkey -
Erdogan announced that Jerusalem belonged to “them” (Turkey). This seems to be an outflow of Turkey’s work to take over the PA and Hamas and replace them with a muslim brotherhood led governments.

Libya -
Libya’s oil output has risen to 295,000 barrels following a truce in the OPEC nation’s civil war and the lifting of a blockade on energy facilities. This sudden flood of oil onto the market may cause already bearish outlook on oil prices to accelerated price decreases.

Armenian / Azerbaijani -
Armenian long range missiles started striking targets deep into Azerbaijan, targeting strategic infrastructure and military sites. Armenia targeted the cities of Khizi and Absheron, near the capital city of Baku. Azeri bringing more artillery into play.
Continued international condemnation of the use of Syrian mercenaries by Turkey to support Azerbaijan.
Judging from flow of information, Armenia is continuing to grudgingly cede ground to Azeri forces. However, no major breakouts by Azeri forces. If such happened, expect Russia to step in more strongly. Currently there are rumors that the Azerbaijanis are planning a large offensive to secure Jabalyi and also possibly an offensive on Fuzuli, southern front area. If successful would definitely draw Russia in.
